You decide that knowing who your captors are is the next thing you should know. "Do you know who has taken us?" You decide to ask next.

Lindy's eyes flick downward and you sigh, anticipating her answer.

"I don't know," she says, confirming your fear, "They are probably outlaws, slavers by the look of this cage, who deal with pirates on the Ebony Coast. Normally, they would only target settlements further south than our little village, but the war has made them bolder."

"War?" You ask, surprised. "There's a war going on?"

Lindy gives you a skeptical look and shakes her head. "You must have really hit your head hard. Yes, there's a war going on, and a big one too. Big enough that bandits are able to camp right up alongside the base of Maja's walls without fear." She pauses for a second looking for recognition in your eye, and continues when she sees what you imagine must be a blank look in your face. "Maja is Majera's, this country's, capital. It was once a city state, but it became a buffer state between... Oh what's the point. You have no clue what I'm talking about."

Suddenly, the horse pulling the cart whinnies loudly and the cart jolts to a stop. You quickly shush Lindy. Ahead of the cart, you hear three men talking with one and other in hushed tones, while the fourth walks around to the back of the cart and peers inside.

"Oy, looks like you did a good job fixing him up little lady," the man called in grinning, flashing a smile that looks like it is trying to be reassuring, but comes off as nothing but menacing instead. "Once we get where we need to get, you'll be free to go." He turns to you, and his smile morphs into a leer as he pulls out rope and a strip of red cloth. Now boy, I'm going to need you to step out here quietly so I can put this on you. It's going to be a bit of a walk, and we can't have you know where we're going. Trust me though, once we get there, your going to be as good as gold." The man roars with laughter at his own joke as he unmatched the cage door and swings it open.

You scowl, clenching your fists as indignation flares through your chest. You are more than some commodity to be bought or sold for a piece of gold or two, and right now you want nothing more than to silence that man's laughter.

B. Go up to the man and allow him to bind you.
C. Stay where you are.

Chapter 7x is not returning, especially not the creepy "watching body decay before your eyes" or the vivisection room. Yeah, reminiscing about that has made me realize that it was/am a little messed up.

But what happens to Lindy? He isn't taking her along right? No, no no no... I have a horrible feeling if we leave without Lindy we'll lose her. If Lindy is coming with us, or we can rescue her very soon, and we aren't leaving her to some horrible fate, then B. Otherwise, C.
