Telling me not to ship ThioxLindy is like telling me not to ship TrailxKanis in a UB reboot. And Kanis was the first girl we met in UB. Look how that turned out. It turned out perfectly. Sorry. It's as close to my heart as UB itself. And I just can't imagine OoD without the Dragon Princess... Get back over to gamefaqs and read my CYOA  on topic, if this is a reboot then. Old canon pairings wouldn't exist. for ex. In spiderman 1-3 Mary Jane is peter Parker's love interest completely ignoring Gwen stacy. The amazing spider man series doesn't count.... Curse TASM2 I hate you Osborn. anyway sorry for the off topic stuff. But whoever didn't get shipped in the other CYOA I the one in shipping for. I'm a sucker for childhood friend romances,sorry Neo. That's what happens to Gwen in the comics though. |

Sometime between today and yesterday I passed the point where it no longer made sense for me to continue adapting game mechanics if I'm not going to use them... So I'm going to use them. I almost finished with the skill progressions (sort of) and class lists, and I am finishing up the weapon/item lists and stats. I need to find/make templates for the basic enemies, and after that, I think I am finished. I will try to continue the progression tonight, but I can't start combat until I finish. I should probably warn you all, well people are probably going to die. Luckily for you, now you get to throw the lives of your characters into the hands of Anna even more than last time! (Elina Tragedy: Never Forget!) and story decisions will be just as lethal as usual. Get it? It was a pun. It also isn't really all that lucky. Why you thought putting the powers of the RNG into my somewhat sadistic hands was a good idea is beyond me, but what's done is done, and I'm too tired now to continue the story, which is fine since after this next choice I will be forced to finish before continuing anyway. Good night. |

Well, it's almost midnight and I actually need to wake up on time tomorrow, so here is a choice regarding Th- I mean our mysterious protagonist ahead of time.
What is his primary weapon?
It will affect his stats as well as obviously the options available to him in combat. You cannot change it once you pick and it is highly unlikely that you will ever gain access to a secondary weapon so choose wisely.
A. Axe (STR+4, DEF+2)
B. Lance (DEF+4, STR+2)
C. Bow (SKL+4,SPD+2)
D. Sword (SPD+4, SKL+2)

If you really want to know, here are his stats prototype stats.
Level 1 ???
Hp 20/20
STR: 3
DEF: 4
MAG: 0
RES: 7
SKL: 4
SPD: 4
LCK: 9
The growths will change a little as well, by 5-10% so choose wisely. Keep in mind that I modeled his growths based off of other divine Manaketes in the series, so keep that in mind.

Well, from what I remember, literally everything went wrong that could have went wrong. The king of Elina was assassinated. Eleanor, the princess of Elina, and fan favorite, permenantly left the group. Her brother Morse was killed by the RNG, despite them choosing the best option. Anna was not recruited, so she died. And this was all after going through a very long chapter where nobody died for once after three consecutive chapters of losing party members. Oh, and B is locked. I will post his new stats shortly. |

Congratulations! You chose the defensive build! It actually didn't affect his growth all that much. Although it does mean his early-game role will be as a tank, it does not have a large impact on his late-game stat trends other than making him more durable.
