You will be getting a lot of new characters relatively quickly. Possibly two this chapter, but some stuff needs to happen first. Shopping mostly. Is the Lindy shipping war really over? Hm, I guess I better do something about that. To answer the dragonstone question: quickly and not for a long time. Os, if you do something to derail my plans, I swear by all that is holy I will obliterate you. ....... Also, it took me a few seconds to figure out what you meant. You're certainly going to make this reboot interesting, aren't you? I'm tempted to ask for a revised 7x, just cause. Really? What did I mean? I plan on doing no derailings of any kind. If I made it possible to get an S Rank before the forced split everyone knows is coming by the end of act 1, I would just be cruel, and who knows what could happen between then and when everyone meets up again. And would that revised 7x chapter be an attempt to kill Lindy's suitors just prior to those events? I have a few tricks up my sleeve. |

A revised 7x would be something of the sort, but maybe not that blunt. How long is the split this time? Last time, it was three, four chapters I think? Will it be longer, or shorter? Remember the dilemma in the original topic? The one that made me throw a fit? Because Thio was gone for so long, it allowed Matthew to come from behind and nearly ninja him. I still see red, thinking of that scenario. I had a close friend who was a POW, who came home to find his wife had left him and got together with his best friend. So that particular scenario hits way too close to home. I'm worried that if you make the split longer, it won't give Thio and Lindy a fair chance to be together, because there will be multiple chances for ninjas. And yet, there is no possibility of an S Rank before. See my problem? It really isn't fair to Thio. |

The split is longer, but I don't see how there are many support opportunities between then and the return. It's for plot related reasons. Now the severity of the situation you describe really depends on how close Lindy and An- sorry *ahem* our mysterious protagonist are prior to his temporary departure. If they are a few points away from S rank, it would be incredibly cruel, and also unlikely that Lindy has been talking to anyone else. If she is just at B rank, or even low A rank, and has had a clear second suitor, it would not be as much, but I would not let the other just S rank her while ?? Is off doing whatever he does. However, keep in mind that if enough people want Lindy with someone else, she will probably end up with someone else. I'm neither for you or against you in this situation. My goal is just that everyone has a chance to play the game and enjoy themselves. If something must be changed, I will change it, but I am at a far too early stage to make that decision. |

If anyone is wondering why I disappeared for a week, I probably don't have a very satisfying answer. OoD will definitely pick up again once PE is over and I no longer need to wake up at 6 in the morning. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything involving creativity for more than half an hour as of late and haven't been able to do much past 11.
The other reason is that what little concentration I do have has been divided up amongst other things like learning how to play DnD, completing Tales of Xillia in time for the second one, which keep nagging me until I get around to them. They keep on nagging me until I complete them.
Luckily this has started to nag me as well, so expect me to get back to it before Friday.
