A. We don't know how nuts he is this time but I'm guessing as the lord character he has some sort of diplomatic tie there.

Eh fine. I'll change my vote to A. Hey, Os? Is the Mad King recruitable this time around? Or is he still set to die a gory death? We haven't really had a Gangrel in any CYOA, to my knowledge, so it would be really cool.

As I recall he wasn't so much mad as he was a duplicitous bigot.

Because Zairthe is more like Gangrel than Korvus was, especially since Nymm/Nero played the Gharnef role. I'll just say that I have a lot of playable characters this time around. There are over 50 possible recruitable characters. And just like last time, if I feel like it, I may add to the cast if I feel it is appropriate to do so.

Oh, you changed your vote. Oh well, I'm still saying B even though I'm gonna lose.

You decide that if Matthew has reason to seek help from Renarre instead of Majera, then so be it. "Sounds like a good plan. Just who will be going on this expedition with you?"
"Me," he replies, "and two others. I haven't decided who to bring yet, but if you still want to get out of here, I'd feel a lot safer if you tagged along. Sarcorn, our first stop is a Renarrian trading city and I'm sure a man of your talents could easily find work there. We'll be done with the most dangerous leg of our journey by then, so you would be free to leave."
"Thanks," you reply. "I might just take you up on that offer."
"So is that a yes then?"
"Well," you look around, "I think everybody here would be much happier if I moved along as soon as possible and frankly, I will be too. You can count me in... At least to Sarcorn. I'm unsure of afterwards."
"Great," he beams. "I'll ask Lindy to pack us some of her medical supplies for the journey. Meet me back here mid day!" With a final wave he splits off for Lindy's cottage, leaving you by yourself.
midday...
You look up at the clear blue sky and see the sun already rising high over the trees. You hadn't realized it was so late. Midday should be no more than a few hours away. You suddenly feel light headed and drowsy, your head once again throbbing from the wound hidden under thick white bandages. You reach up and feel the blood-stained bandage wrapped tightly around your head, itching to yank it off. This head wound would be the death of you if it acted up during a battle. "Tearing off the bandage won't help you," you chide yourself quietly, "but it would certainly feel good."
You impulsively curl your fingers under the bandage, dry and sticky with your own blood, but before you can yank it away, you are stopped by some instinct that removing it would put you in some kind of danger. What danger your different ears might bring, you do not know, but it is strong enough to convince you to leave it alone, and carry on until midday.

Dun dun dun... So that's why no one has realized he's a dragon yet. I thought it was something like that.

You get 2 more support conversations. The first one was just special, except in Rachel's case which was special since that is the only direct support she is capable of getting before she is recruited.
Pick 2. I choose the order
A) Matthew and Lindy B) Matthew and ?? C) Lindy and ??

Matthew ----- You follow the riverbank, tracing the river upstream to where you find the little stone cottage you found when you first came to the Tines. Lindy lives there now, but on that first, cold, damp night, you both shared it.
As you approach, Lindy steps out, preoccupied as she stuffs poultices and salt biscuits into a bag slung over her shoulder. When she looks up, her eyes widen briefly in shock before she regains her composure.
"You look like you're ready to go off somewhere," you say playfully. "Do you mind telling me where you're headed?"
"I'm coming with you," she replies, "and you can't stop me."
"Of course you are."
"I'm not just going to-what?" Lindy blinks in surprise. "You're not going to protest or anything?"
"Don't get me wrong," you chuckle, "I hate the idea of you getting hurt, but the longer this war goes on, the less safe places we have left..." And quietly you add, "and yesterday I would have died if it weren't for you. We all would have."
"Hey, you did all of the hard work," she replies smiling a little. "I just waved a big stick around and hoped for the best."
This gets a polite laugh out of you, but it quickly dissipates into an uneasy silence.
"There are some days I wish that we were still kids, our only care being whether or not we were going to get caught for that day's adventure. How about you? Do you think back to the good old days?"
"Like when we found that piece of quartz and you thought you found a diamond? All the time. We were a lot more innocent back then, Matt. It just isn't the way things are now. We grew up."
Lindy looks down at her feet but you catch the wetness in her eyes and you can't help but feel sad at the chasm that has widened between you two.
"Thank you for saving me," Lindy continues. "I don't know what those barbarians were going to do with me once I was done healing their prisoner, but I doubt they were going to let me go home. But nothing has changed Matthew... I nearly forgot. I left my kneader in the cottage. Give me a moment and we will be on our way.
Your heart sinks into your stomach as she turns to leave. You thought that maybe, just maybe that yesterday's events might have given you a window to talk to her again. You were wrong. Without even thinking, your hand reaches for Arelis, and in one fluid motion you swing it at the nearest tree, an old tall oak, burying the blade deep within the trunk with a satisfying thunk.
