You disagree? Taste the full might of Begonia, Nordic heritage, and the force all at once. Try me and I will slap you into the next dimensions.

C
What would your blacklist do anyways? Ban players from getting Expert/Master spells? Have them be roflstomped in every fight?

Hmm... Those are actually some good ideas Golurk. Appreciate the input. Maybe I'll be really evil and make it so they can only post once a day. Or make it so they're banned from posting in certain topics. Hint, hint. Also, Emperor? You didn't read the original topic. And don't start a shouting war with someone who can back it up.

I've read enough on gamefaqs an snippets from UB to know Thio x Lindy. Original or not, I shall commence the Shouting war. Face me if you can.

Oh, and one last thing before I stop derailing the Wizard's glorious topic. For any who aren't already aware, I can get really... Heated in certain instances. I think most people here remember what I'm like(Idoun anyone?), but for those who don't, please don't take anything I say or do personal. When it comes to Lindy and Idoun, I can get kinda... Feisty.

So you're planning on possibly monopolizing the CYOA in order to force ship LindyXThio?

Sadly I have to agree with our twisted, evil Admin. I too, get feisty when I need something to go my way. my last off topic response hopefully, but my own main char does not do well in shipping. on topic, village girl ftw.

So you're planning on possibly monopolizing the CYOA in order to force ship LindyXThio? Seriously considering it. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. Don't look at me like that. I won't actually do that... Probably. But I'll be depressed if Lindy and Thio don't get to be together... And I mean it... GX knows how sad I'll be.

Rachel is locked in. She kind of needs a C support with someone before she becomes playable as a villager. If it makes the Rachel haters feel any better, think of it as just trying to unlock an possible mid-game monster early enough that she isn't instantly killed. And if you really despise her, you can always work on that Slayer of Men trophy.

Hey, I second sealed. I'm still a rogue at heart, but a little magic has never hurt anybody except for my enemies, so let's get on with that update. --- Rachel's earnest gaze wins you over. "I'll stay with you for tonight if you don't mind," you tell her. "Oh, follow me then," she blushes, before quickly scurrying back toward the center of town. You get the feeling she wasn't expecting you to stay with her. Steadily growing more exhausted, you trod after her, ignoring the stares and whispers of the villagers as you pass. Among the unease, you hear the occasional mumble of gratitude, the occasional clap, or cheer. The many stares still bore into you from all sides, but this time, you manage to smile.
A warm feeling sparks to life in your chest which you carry with you until you drift off to sleep in Rachel's hut.
Flying. Falling. The only difference is how fast one hits the ground...

Sorry, I lost my post and haven't felt like retyping it until now. --- Hundreds of steel bolts rain from the sky all around you as you twist and turn in the air. For a brief moment, you believe that you have evaded the deadly barrage, or that the bolts have bounced harmlessly off of your scales when your massive white body explodes with pain, your wings are shredded and the barbed bolts rip through your scales unlike anything you have encountered before. Instinctively, your body coils, trying to protect your less protected underbelly, but the bolts pierce through your tough outerscales as if your hide were merely leather.
A pause in the barrage. You waste no time trying to escape the ambush. Flapping your torn and battered wings, you fly southwest, away from thr brunt of the bolts, but you grow dizzy from blood loss, and already, you feel faint. You look back onve over your shoulder to see if you are being pursued. In an instant, your vision goes red as one final bolt manages to bounce of your rock hard skull, cracking your temple and sending blood gushing down your face.
You feel faint, but you fly on still, with no knowledge of where you are or how far you have flown. Your headwound makes you dizzy, and even you teeter from side to side in air as if flying drunk. The last thing you remember is asking yourself where the wall of trees came from. --- Now that was uplifting.

Wow. Surprise vacation is over already! It's almost like I have been practically silent for almost a week! --- You awake with a start grasping at your chest. No open wounds. Only faded scars. You look over your shoulder. No wings. It was only a dream. You rise to your feet and let loose a tremendous yawn. You spent the night sleeping on Rachel's floor with a straw mat. You must have fallen asleep immediately. On the floor next to your mat, you see a bowl full of thin broth. You pick up the bowl and swirl it, suspiciously eyeing the gray liquid with misshapen lumps floating in it. You are reluctant to try the gruel, but your stomach wins you over. You hesitantly take a sip. It is cold, bland with a bitter aftertaste, but it fills your stomach, so soon the bowl is empty.
A shadow fills the doorway and you look up to see Rachel standing there. "Oh, you're up. That's great." She glances at the bowl in your hand gives you an uncertain smile, "and you ate. Did- did you like it?"
"I don't know how you people can stabs to eat this gruel to be honest," you reply bluntly.
"Well, we don't," Rachel chuckles uncomfortably. "There isn't a lot of food to go around at the moment and well... we- I mean most of the village thought it best if they didn't share our food with any outsiders at the moment. Lindy helped me pick Worscheroots down by the Tines for you. I boiled them up myself, but I'm not a very good cook."
"I appreciate it," you reply, giving a reassuring smile. "It's thanks to you that I'm not going hungry today."
"Happy to help," Rachel beams back. "Oh, I almost forgot. Matthew wanted to see you when you woke up. Something about where they would go next. There's a tunic hanging on a post outside for you... if you want it." With that, she turns away quickly and dashes out the door.
Still stiff from yesterday's fight, you rise to your feet carefully and leave, snatching up your lance on the way out. As Rachel said, there's a haphazardly patched together tunic hanging outside. It reminds you more of a quilt than an article of clothing, but it might attract less looks than your ragged pants alone. You slip it on and go looking for Matthew. It doesn't take long for you to find him. Villagers intent on fixing up the village flock around him as he directs reconstruction. Instead of walking up to him, you give him a wave, catching his attention. After a few quick commands, he is free of his followers who go about carrying out his instructions and he walks over to you, dressed in the same leather armor he had on yesterday and his sword slung over his shoulder, a determined look on his face.

"I didn't know that you were good with construction," you say as Matthew approaches.
"I'm not," he replies. "What I am good at is defense. I'm sure as you have guessed, yesterday was not my first experience with fighting." He walks up to you and gestures toward the woods. "Walk with me."
You follow, and as he leads, he continues, "As much as I've grown to love this place, Lindy and I are not from here. Our town was destroyed during the first battle between an Altnoirian Wyvern Brigade and the Majeran National Army."
"I'm sorry to hear that, It's good that you found a new place to call home."
"I have!" He replies angrily, "and I am not letting this damned war destroy my home a second time. I managed to convince what remains of the council that we need fortifications, and Rachel is going north to Sarcorn in order to buy weapons. Some of these men and women are spear fishers, woodcutters, and hunters. It may not be much but at least they will be able to defend themselves somewhat if those pirates come back." He spits out pirates as if it were the worst curse he could think of.
"You'll need more than that Matthew, you point out."
"I know that! What we need are soldiers stationed in the Southlands. We won't be safe until there are. Nowhere south of Sarcorn will be."
"Where are you going to get your soldiers from?" You ask skeptically. "I doubt that any king or Queen will give up valuable manpower to protect a single village."
"Trust me, it isn't just us that will be protected. There are many more towns and villages between here and the Ebony Coast. If a large band of pirates such as this managed to make it this far north, I fear that it may be under attack from marauders. If they continue to work their way northward, they may become a serious threat to Majera as a whole and to is winning the war. We'll get the help we need."
Matthew is trying to reassure himself more than convince you, but you don't have any better plans as of now. "How long will it take to reach the Capitol?"
"We aren't going to the Capitol," Matthew replies. "We are going to Renarre."
"Renarre?"
"Yes, the Western Empire. We're seeking help from Emperor Darius."
Your skepticism increases the further you listen. Why would the king of a different land want to protect foreigners? You could only guess, but Matthew does not explain his reasons, preferring for now to keep his mouth shut about the topic. They seem less likely to give aid, and you don't see why you simply couldn't go to Maja instead. But should you suggest this to him?
A) Follow Matthew's plan and head to Renarre. B) Suggest going to Maja instead.
