B! Cavalry hates that map. Well I got more time so I guess I'll follow up have Mina help Hyun'ji cover the retreat and call for our flyers in case things get dicey

"Fall back!" Rand orders.
He doesn't even finish giving his orders before Allune drops down and grabs Alice into her arms, turning and flying back ahead of the others. One of the mounted archers takes a shot at them, but Alice fires a burst of wind back at him and knocks the arrow aside.
"Hyun'ji, Mina, take the rear!" Rand breaks into a run, grabbing Soo'ah by the wrist and yanking her back. "Pixie!"
High in the tree, the crow laguz peeking down from the balcony recoils in surprise. She trips over herself as she scrambles back to the others.
Chun'ae lowers his spear and aims directly at Hyun'ji. Hyun'ji turns and slashes the tip with his sword, but the force of the charge still sends him reeling. One of the other cavaliers following in his wake swings at Hyun'ji's head while he's still off-balance. Hyun'ji lets himself fall, rolling back and dodging the slash. He jumps back and launches at the rider, slashing his leg. Another rider barrels down at Hyun'ji before he can finish him off, clipping him in the side.
Mina leaps to Hyun'ji's defense, blocking the next rider. She raises her shield, barely managing to shoulder the force of blow. When the next comes, she slams her lance into the ground as a brace and leans into the attack. She groans in pain from the force of the strike, but the rider nearly falls from his horse.
Rand's group makes it back to the entrance of the tree, with Hyun'ji only slightly injured. Mina, on the other hand, is hurt and having trouble just holding her shield. Chun'ae and his followers turn and start coming around for another charge while the other two dozen continue closing in.
Pixie comes plummeting down, flapping hard at the last moment to break her fall. "I, um... I'm here..." she says quietly. "The others are, um, coming..."
(A) Group up in a defensive position
(B) Defend but send the birds to attack them from the side as they charge
(C) Spread out and try to make the riders split up
(D) Screw that, counter-charge!
(E) Retreat inside

B, if we group up well and harass them on the way in a counter offensive should be possible what with the roots as pathways and then on horses speaking of which if we've got Horse slayers now would be the map for em

"Defensive positions!" Rand says. He moves to the front with his axe at the ready. "Allune, Pixie, once they start to charge, hit them from the side."
Allune takes a look at Alice, then turns to Rand, then nods. "OK, fine." She turns and flies up and away, with Pixie following close behind. They transform and flip, ready to attack. Meanwhile, Shep begins treating Mina's arm. Hyun'ji moves beside Rand, while Alice stays back.
As the cavalry nears, and ready to strike, the two birds come diving down at their side. The archers rush to take aim and fire. One of the shots goes wide. The other, Pixie dives to avoid. It hits Allune behind her. Allune loses control and crashes into one of the riders. Pixie starts to panic, then grabs one of the riders by the shoulders and rips him off his mount, tossing him towards another.
Chun'ae ignores the loss, slamming into Rand. The spear slides across Rand's armor as he turns and swings his axe into Chun'ae's side. Chun'ae twists with the blow and shrugs it off. Alice throws a fireball at him, but he accelerates and dodges it, somehow managing to keep his pace on the uneven ground. Another rider slashes Rand while he recovers, before Rand knocks him off his mount and slams his axe into him. Hyun'ji deflects the last as it stabs at Rand, quickly stabbing back as he passes. Soo'ah hesitates, then hurls a hand axe into his back before he can get too far.
Allune shifts back, struggling to her feet as the cavalier she knocked over tries to do the same. He draws a sword and lunges at her from his knees. Allune, clutching one wing, winds up with a deep gash on her thigh. She shifts back, then drives the heel of her good leg into his face. Pixie dives down and grabs her, dragging her back towards the others as the remaining cavaliers close in.
"Oh... dear, we're starting a war with Valm?" Gin mutters.
"We're here!" Nevyn announces as he comes down the stairs. "That's... a lot of them. What's the plan?"
Chun'ae regroups with the freshly arrived cavalry as a valkyrie tends to his injuries. Far in the distance, a large group of infantry march from the south.
(A) Form a stronger defensive position
(B) Counterattack and charge Chun'ae
(C) Fall back into the tree
(D) Start pulling away to the east
(E) Try to re-open negotiations

Every starts to get into position as the cavalry charges.
Mina, arm patched up, seems much more comfortable digging in and forming a rank with the others. Gin and Rand take positions on either side and wait for the cavalry to charge. Pixie readies her knife while Allune gets out her bow. Shep tends to her wings while Soo'ah treats Hyun'ji.
The first cavalier arrives and stabs at Gin. Gin deflects it with his shield and stabs back at him, then Alice knocks him from his horse with a gust of wind. Another attacks Mina. He grazes her armor and receives a hit to the gut in return. Allune takes a shot at the next as he charges. The arrow clangs off his helmet, throwing him off balance as he stabs at Hyun'ji. His attack is sloppy, and Hyun'ji is quick to cut him down.
A nomad fires at Rand. He ducks underneath and throws a hand axe back. The axe slashes his shoulder, but a valkyrie is quick to come and heal the injury. Snowy swoops down and stabs the valkyrie in the back. She nearly falls from her horse, but manages to keep her seat. Another archer fires at Snowy as she retreats, but she rolls to the side. The injured valkyrie throws a fireball at her, clipping her back. Snowy grunts, but manages to get back out of range.
Suarrure dances for Snowy as she arrives. "Come on, you're not going to take that, are you? You got this."
Snowy groans, flips in midair, and dives back at the valkyrie. Her pegasus kicks her off and into her lance.
Nevyn and Fei match with a charging cavalier, working together to bring him down from both sides.
Kelly charges at one of the paladins as they advance. The two of them slam together, locking swords. While they fight, Pixie sneaks up behind the enemy paladin and drives a knife into his thigh. In a blind rage he swings back at her. She raises her arm to block the strike, receiving a large gash. The distraction is enough for Kelly to stab him in his chest.
Chun'ae comes charging again, but this time Sylvia fires a thunderbolt at him. He's knocked off course as Eun'ji fires an arrow into his side. Chun'ae pulls back towards the remaining 18 cavalry as they prepare another charge. The column of infantry continue to close in. More infantry appear on the horizon to the south.
"That is not good..." Hyun'ji says. "There's a lot of them. And more probably on the way."
(A) Break ranks and charge at Chun'ae
(B) Hold position
(C) Try to break through to the east
(D) Send Snowy to scout
(E) Pull back into the tree

Right E. Time to take advantage of the choke point and make the cavalry have to move up a little more away from their reenfocments.... I assume this is a kill enemy leader considering focous keeps seeming to be on Chun-Li..... pull back the ones who can attack at range first keep the defensive folks out to filter cavs and try to lure him through the door with Hyun or Soo'ah for obvious reasons or have Rand piss him off whatever works then dance them back and collapse in on him
