Lily politely knocks on the door.
Let's jaw drops. "What are you doing!?" he whispers angrily.
"Luring them out so we can murder them," Lily says, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oi, wha d'ya want?" a voice calls from inside. It sounds slightly drunk. "That you, Tony? We're in the middle of a card game. Git yer grog on yer own."
"Shouldn't be drinking on patrol, neither..." a second voice adds.
(A) Yes, this is Tony. Just bring me a bottle, ya bilgerats.
(B) It's the princess. Zenia said I could wander around so long as I don't cause trouble. I'm bored, so deal me in.
(C) Come quick, the prisoners are escaping!
(D) (Knock again until someone comes to the door)
(E) Charge!
(F) (Quietly walk away)
(G) ...Meow?

Kurt rolls his eyes. Hawke looks like he might actually be trying to fight back a grin. Isana smiles, but she's clearly confused.
"Kitty!" one of the pirates yells back.
"Why dontcha go pet it?" another asks.
"And let ya peek at my cards? Pffft. I ain't stupid."
" When'd we get a cat...? Did Zenia finally break down and get one to deal with them rats?"
"Ha! We been askin' fur months."
"Ugh..."
"You know how much she hates cats. More like than not she got one o' them-there laguz! Ha!"
There's at least 4 in there, judging from the number of voices. They seem... pretty drunk.
(A) Just kidding, this is Tony. Just bring me a bottle, ya blaggards.
(B) I'm going to take them for a ride at cards. You go ahead while I keep them distracted.

(I'd already started work on this, so...)
Lily starts folding her hair to stick up a bit. She turns her circlet around to hold it in place.
Kurt is shaking his head and whispering. "No. No, no. No..."
"Me-ooooow!" Lily calls out. She reaches for the door and sticks her head through. "Did someone call for a pretty kitty laguz? I'm your new crew member!"
She gets a good look at the room. Five pirates are sitting at a table with several large mugs of some kind of booze. They were obviously in the middle of playing cards, but now they're all staring at Lily.
"Oh, cards! How fun!" Lily adds.
The pirates sit in stunned silence, then all burst out laughing. "Oi, look at that cat! Finally found one Zenia'll like!"
"Ha! The li'l princess has a sense o' humor!"
"Who put ya up t' this? Was it Tony? Heh heh!"
One of the pirates ambles over. Lily quickly steps through the door so he doesn't have a reason to see the others hiding behind it. He jovially throws an arm around Lily's shoulder and starts guiding her towards the table. "Ya like cards, eh? Ya know we gotta escort ya back t' yer room, but d'ya wanna join us fer a hand 'r two 'fore that?"
(A) No, no, I... should be going. Don't worry, I'll walk myself back.
(B) Oh, **** yes. You're on.
(C) (stab)
(D) Yes. Yes, please escort me back. By yourself. Without the others.

"Oh, **** yes. You're on," Lily says. She grins and slips out from the pirate's grasp. "Let me just get the door for you."
As Lily pokes her head out, Kurt just glares at her. Isana's got a hand over her mouth, and Hawke looks a bit concerned. "Go! I'll distract them!" Lily whispers as she closes the door.
"Oh, great. She gets to play a fun card game while the rest of us go..." Lily vaguely hears Kurt muttering as she walks back to the pirate.
He insists on throwing his arm back around her. "Y'know how to play poker, right?"
"In theory," Lily says pleasantly as she lets him guide her to an open seat. "I know the rules, but I've never gotten to play before. All those stuck-up types I usually end up with like is bridge and cribbage and that sort of boring nonsense."
"Heh! Then yer in fer a treat! Aces are high, and jokers are wild. Got it?" One of the pirates shuffles the deck and holds it out to Lily.
Lily stares at it confused for a moment, then one of the other pirates grabs part of it and puts the other part on top. "It's called cutting the deck. Make sure the shuffler didn't stack it, get it? Not that any of us would dare cheat." He smirks. A quiet laugh spreads around the table.
It suddenly strikes Lily how very, very bad it would be if someone were to take her to her room with all the corpses in it right now. She's got the knife tucked in her tunic, but she's still recovering. It would probably be a good idea to keep this going as long as possible.
As the cards are passed out, one of the pirates slides Lily a spare mug. Another fills it with some kind of sickly green alcohol. Lily gives a fake but well-practiced smile and reaches for her cards. 5, 6, 9, 10, Ace. Not great. So next she gets to send up to three of those cards back and draw new ones... right?
"Wait a second," one of the pirates cuts in. He's staring at Lily intently. He slowly breaks into a smile. "The princess ain't anted up yet."
Anted... up? Right, betting. Lily looks at the table and notices all the pirates have a few gold coins in front of them. Betting for money. Which... Lily does not have any of right now. They aren't exactly playing for much, but...
Choose which 3 cards to send back.
(A) Oh, can't I just play without money...?
(B) Anyone spare a few coins for a poor princess?
(C) (Grin and slam a stocking onto the table)
(D) This should be worth a few coins. (Hold up her crown)
(E) Well, I've got this knife that I'm hiding. How much is that worth?
(F) (stab someone, get this party started right)
(1) Drink some booze with them
(2) Oh gods don't touch that stuff
