I vote D as well. Also, is this choice important? Every choice has at least some relevance. Even if it's not always readily obvious. Heck, sometimes I've made "pointless" choices that were actually determining characters' growth rates. Which is why June's speed is ridiculously high. This choice, however, should be pretty obvious right about...

Now. Fate with Sara Lyon increased to 3! Fate is a representation of your closeness with certain characters. As you spend time with them, or when you make choices they agree with, it may increase - don't worry, it won't go back down. You'll get various bonuses as your fates become more intertwined...
Lyon's Ice Resistance became Strong!
Lyon can now Joint Skill Crack with Kira! When you encounter demons that have skills you've yet to learn, you can try to learn the skills by killing the demon. Each character capable of Joint Skill Cracking increases the odds of receiving the skill at battle's end.
Deity Ares has been unlocked! Each character has two unique demons that can only be summoned after reaching fate levels 3 and 5. You explain to Bast that you're in a relationship with a brave young woman named Sara Lyon.
"Oh? So, you're into women, then?" Bast asks. "Hmm..."
"Stop licking your lips, Bast, it's unbecoming," Vorvadoss says.
"I'm just teasing!" Bast announces. "Anyway, you should probably try to find her as soon as possible."
You explain that Sara can take care of herself. She is a soldier, after all.
"Oh? I like her already," Vorvadoss says. "Anyway, you did surprisingly well today. Rest, and recover your strength."
"Yeah, we'll be here when you wake up!" Bast tells you.
You lay down on the couch - the bed was irreparably damaged by the tree - and try to get some sleep. Fortunately, the power's still on, so you hook your phone up to charge. In your dreams, you see a young woman. Something about her is... off. You can't quite place it. She's appears attractive at first glance, but it's as if the longer you look at her, the more she repulses you. Her nose is too flat, her eyes are slightly too large, her ears too small... For what seems like hours, she merely sits there. Suddenly she smiles and laughs. You wake up a second later.

"Wa-a-a-ake up!" Bast calls out. "We've got a special good-morning present for you!" "Now that you've got the basics of combat and summoning down, it's time to fill your team out. We've unlocked a new option in the Demon Summoning Program," Vorvadoss tells you. "The demon auction." "Here, all sorts of demons are selling their services! Oh, don't worry. These ones won't attack you when you form a contract. Instead, you pay them macca! It's kinda like money, but for demons. We've been collecting it for you up to now." Bast explains. You check your phone and a few new things are visible. For one, a strange symbol followed by some numbers. Secondly, there's another icon you can now click. A gavel... You click on it, and some irritatingly bouncy music starts playing. Several demons are listed, along with that symbol and prices. "You should have enough for 2 demons," Vorvadoss tells you. "So go ahead and make your picks." (A) Beast Kabuso(B) Fairy Pixie(C) Touki Kobold(D) Jaki Obaryion(E) Ghost Poltergeist
(F) Avian Itsumade(G) Wilder Hare of Inaba(H) Jaki Ogre(I) Fairy Knocker(J) Ghost Agathion

You scroll through the list of available demons. You finally decide on a pair of... surprisingly cute demons. Vorvadoss and Bast walk you through the actual bidding process, and you easily win. "Hee hee! Take good care of me!" Pixie introduces herself. The Demon Summoning App tells you she knows two spells, Zio and Dia, as well as a racial ability called Glamour. "Let's play, Lady!" Poltergeist says. He only has one spell, Bufu, and his racial ability, Ghost Wounds. "Well, now that you've got a whole party, let's try setting out again!" Bast suggests. "You wanted to check up on your parents, right?" Vorvadoss asks. "Well, whatever. Fighting your way to the center of town should make good training. Let's move out." Vorvadoss is entirely correct. The riots and looting of yesterday have only gotten worse, and the demons running amok aren't helping. Worst of all, a handful of demon tamers have begun using their demons to attack people who can't summon demons. Which, of course, is prompting some of these non-tamers to attack tamers on sight. Including you. You do your best to avoid fighting, and for the most part you manage to run into other humans. A handful of non-tamers threaten you, but they back off when another few tamers show up and threaten them. They offer to let you join up with them, but you explain you have to find your parents. The halfheartedly wish you luck and wave you on your way. When you make it to the apartment, you find the door smashed in, and several windows broken. You go in carefully, unsure what to expect. There's no sign of a struggle beyond the broken doors, no obvious blood stains, broken furniture... Though every ounce of food's been cleaned out, as well as a few valuables. A couple pictures are also missing, so you assume they left of their own will. You try to ask a few of the neighbors, but most are gone, and the few that remain don't know much. Eventually, you're forced to give up, and you set out for home. On the way, a large group of tamers and non-tamers alike are roaming the streets, picking off any demons they find. You travel with them for a time, helping them when a particularly powerful demon appears. You feel like you've got the hang of fighting in a group of three and switching demons out mid-fight. You also notice that enemies can't hit you as well so long as you've got demons out. You finally manage to make it home just as the sun is setting. You curl up on the couch again. "Nice job, today, Kira!" Bast tells you. "Too bad you couldn't find your family..." "Eh, they're probably fine. Assuming they aren't dead," Vorvadoss says flatly. "Vorvi!" Bast chastises. "What? If they're dead, it was because they were too weak." "Vorvi!" Bast repeats herself. "Ignore him, Kira, I'm sure they're fine. We can start looking for them again tomorrow. And Sara, too. Why don't you tell me a bit more about her?" Eventually, you fall asleep while chatting with Bast. Like the night before, you dream of a strange woman you don't recognize. As before, she smiles at you, and you wake up. "What's wrong?" Vorvadoss asks. "Are you OK?" Bast asks. You assure them you're fine. "Great! So... uh... we've got a problem..." Bast tells you. "Your phone's battery is getting low. And if it dies, no more demons. No more spells. No more harmonizer. You're dead, basically," Vorvadoss explains. "You need to either fine a new battery, or a way to recharge, or somewhere with power... Your call!" Bast tells you. "To help you with that, we're acting a new function for you. The Cathedral of Shadows. Demon Fusion," Vorvadoss tells you. "Basically, you combine two demons into a new one. The inheritor will receive skills and status improvements based on the two you choose." "It's kinda hard to explain, so just pick two demons and we'll show you!" Bast suggests. (A) Fuse Pixie and Poltergeist into Jaki Obaryion (B) Fuse Pixie and Tam Lin into Beast Hairy Jack(C) Fuse Poltergeist and Tam Lin into Divine Angel

Party status screen's now available on the discussion thread. Tells you who has what demon, which demons are in storage, what skills you got equipped... Speaking of skills, tonight I'm going to go through the skill list and start marking cracked skills.

You flip through the three possibilities. Fortunately, it seems to show you what may come out of the fusion beforehand. Finally you settle on fusing Tam Lin and Poltergeist into an angel. It prompts you to select what skills to transfer over... There's not much to decide for passive skills, and its magic is pretty good, so you decide on bufu for the command skill. After you make your choices, the two base demons appear on small pedestals. Some kind of beam seems to scan them, breaking them down. A third beam appears in the center, seemingly assembling the new demon.
A beautiful young woman with white wings floats in the center of the screen. She speaks in a clear, melodic tone. "I am Angel, the Divine. Show me your love of justice, human."
You start your search for a cell phone battery in the most logical place, a local electronics store. It appears you aren't the only one who realized how valuable power will be... The store's been picked clean. You spend a few minutes sifting through the broken shelves, but soon give up.
Next, you try a pawn shop. To your surprise, you find it in one piece, virtually untouched. Even more surprisingly, the store's owner greets you as you walk in. He's wearing a dark cloak, and his face is hidden behind a mask. You consider leaving immediately, but your instinct tells you to give him a chance. You explain what you're looking for, and he tells you to wait while he disappears into the back. He comes back and places an unmarked box on the counter. "Here you are, young miss. That'll be $30."
You ask what it is, and he explains it's a hand-cranked charger. He opens it up and demonstrates how it works. To your surprise, your battery begins to recharge. Slowly, but it's better than nothing. You thank the man, and hand him some money you habitually took with you when you left the house. "Heh heh... Thank ya," he says. "Glad you didn't try to make trouble. Unlike... some people." He gives you an ominous grin, and you decide it's time to leave.
With nothing pressing and no leads on your family, you wander around the city randomly. You manage to find a few cans of food people seem to have dropped. You've got a pretty good stockpile, but you decide to pocket them anyway.
As you stroll past the university, you see a group of soldiers marching towards the town. One of them catches your eye. A particularly tall woman with a tight brown ponytail. You call out to her, but she doesn't seem to hear you. As you run towards the group, the soldiers form ranks and level their rifles at you.
"Hold your fire!" Sara orders.
You slow to a stop, and Sara breaks formation to approach you. When she's a few feet away, you dash in and give her a hug.
"Huh? K-Kira! What are you doing? Not... in front of everyone..." You explain that you just had to be sure she was real. "...Oh, Kira..." she mutters, returning your embrace. A few of the soldiers behind you start muttering, and you can see a few smiling. You can practically feel Sara's face burning up.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. But I have to get back to work - lots of people need help." Sara slips free. "I don't know when I'll be able to come see you. Every soldier capable of summoning a demon's on-call to... Oh! Right! Your family's fine. We've established a quarantine zone just north of town, and I personally made sure your parents got out there as soon as I could. Er... but..." She notices the pixie floating behind you. "I'm sorry, Kira, but people who can summon demons... aren't allowed. Even soldiers with summoning potential can only patrol the outskirts. They're calling it the demon exclusion zone."
Pixie sticks her tongue out. "Meanie!"
"H-hey! I didn't make the rules, I just enforce them! Anyway, Kira... I really need to go. Is your house safe?"
You tell her a tree crashed through the house, but you're fine.
"That's good. I knew you could take care of yourself. If anyone would survive this sort of thing... Anyway! I'll come see you whenever I get some time off!" Sara takes a few steps back, then waves. "Stay safe! I won't forgive you if you get hurt!" At the end of the day, you return to your house. You make sure to spend a few minutes charging your phone. While you charge it, Vorvadoss and Bast go over everything that happened throughout the day.
"So, that's Sara, huh? She's pretty cute! I definitely approve." Bast cheers.
"She certainly seems like she knows what she's doing," Vorvadoss says. "I like her well enough."
"Anyway... What are we gonna do tomorrow?" Bast asks. "Your family's fine, but you can't go visit them... Sara's fine, but we can't hang around her... Your battery's set, you've got a few weeks worth of food..."
"You should still get out there and train," Vorvadoss suggests. "The whole reason these demons have shown up is to help you get stronger. If you slack on that front..."
"Ba-a-a-ad things are gonna happen!" Bast tells you. "Oh! And we've unlocked the last feature on your phone. The compendium!"
"Any demon you've had in your team will show up there, if you want to read up on them. Remember, knowledge is important as strength in the search for power," Vorvadoss says.
Finally, you drift off to sleep. Again, the woman returns to your dreams. This time, you manage to force yourself to focus on her. She's pale and on the small side, with dark hair and sharp eyebrows. Her eyes, you realize, are what you find most disturbing; they seem to bulge out of her head. You notice that she doesn't blink the entire time she stares at you. You try to move, to look away, anything, but you find yourself completely paralyzed.
After what feels like hours, she finally smiles that damnable smile. "You've got visitors," she whispers in a surprisingly pleasant voice.
You snap out of your dream, but stop yourself from sitting up. You feel a presence in the room near you. You focus and realize you hear soft wingbeats.
"Did she just move?" a feminine voice asks.
"You're imagining things," another female voice answers. "Let's hurry and get this over with..."
"Shouldn't we call for an incubus?" the first voice asks
"Hm hm... Not for this one, I think," the other chuckles.
It sounds like the two creatures - you think there's only two, anyway - are moving closer. They're probably about 10 feet away from your couch. Fortunately, they think you're asleep. Your phone's on the table beside you. You're pretty sure you can snatch it before the two creatures close the distance. If you act quickly, that is.
(A) Grab for your phone and prepare to fight (B) Risk opening your eyes slightly, try to see what's going on (C) Keep pretending to be asleep and see what happens (D) Brazenly announce you're awake

You carefully control your breathing, pretending to still be asleep. One of the two creatures chuckles wryly. You hear a powerful flap of its wings, then suddenly feel something breathing inches from your face. A finger lightly traces your neck, and you fight your reflex to respond. "I know you're awake..." the older-sounding voice whispers in your ear.
You instinctively shoot up and grab for your phone. The creature leaps back, easily hurdling the table. She's humanoid, a bronzed young lady with blue hair and large, leathery wings. She wears a simple, white-colored leotard. "Looking for this?" she taunts, holding your phone up. She wags her finger at you.
"Sister!" the other voice calls out. Standing behind the first demon is another. She's a bit smaller and wears a black uniform, but they're otherwise identical. "How did you...?"
"It's instinctive when you're as experienced as I am," the older sister brags, carrying a glance behind her. She turns her gaze back to you. "Now, as for you... How would you like to recruit a pair of lovely young demons?"
"We're so hungry..." the younger sister complains. "Humans just aren't sleeping well, and it's so hard to feed on a half-awake human! Sister can do it, no problem, but I'm..." she trails off.
"Please? Just give of a bit of your life or spirit and we're all yours." The older sister claps her hands - still holding your phone - together in a begging position.
You ask why the pair chose you, and why they aren't just attacking. The younger answers first. "Sister was afraid that if we fought, I might get hurt... Even by yourselves, humans can be dangerous."
The older sister crawls onto the table, kneeling in front of you. She leans in as close as she can, speaking softly enough the younger of the two can't hear. "And you are all by yourself," she reminds you. "But I would do anything to protect my sister. Whether that means serving a human or killing one..."
(A) Accept their offer (B) Politely refuse (C) Attack and try to recover your phone
Just in case A wins, you can all also add this to your vote.
(1) Offer a bit of life (-1 Agility) (2) Offer a bit of spirit (-1 Magic) (3) Offer a bit of both (-1 Vitality)
