A. Running would be smarter but this area is gonna be dangerous if we don't stop the phones.

You tell Rita to find somewhere safe to hide. George picks himself up and readies his phone. Gregory cracks his neck and rolls his shoulders.
More demons issue from the three far phones to join the pair of Nekomata: a Jack Frost and a Moh Shuvuu nearby and a Wendigo from the furthest. Three demons now stand between George and Gregory. A Bai Suzhen, a Waira, and a Gozuki. Victory: Destroy all Berserk Phones Defeat: All Characters are defeated (A) Have George charge forward to link up with Gregory and surround the two phones (B) Have Gregory try to pull back and regroup, smashing through the two phones and three demons (C) Use Grey to pull Gregory to safety and then move as a group

A. We need to take out these phones before they pump out too many demons.

"Let's do this!" Gregory yells, charging at the Bai Suzhen team before it has a chance to attack from afar. He manages too take out her partners without taking much damage, while George moves in and challenges the Gozuki. George uses Kijinuma's Fairy Dust to heal Gregory's team. You and Kumiko run as fast as you can to join the fight.
The wounded Gozuki and Bai Suzhen attack George, while the Jack Frost goes for Gregory. George takes some damage, but Kijinuma patches him up. Gregory smashes the Waira, ignoring its partners who flee as their leader dies. Gregory walks over and smashes one of the phones while George finishes the Bai Suzhen.
The pair of Nekomata arrive, both going after Gregory. He's forced onto the defensive as Jambavan falls, but he still manages to do some damage. Gregory charges right back towards the catgirls, taking one down and sending the other running with its tails between its legs.
George finishes with the Gozuki, but doesn't have time to break the phone as he runs to help Gregory. You and Kumiko manage to reach where they had been fighting a moment ago, before the two idiots charged further ahead. You drive your heel into the berserk phone, and it shatters with a satisfying crunch.
Gregory finds himself swarmed by the Jack Frost, Moh, Shuvuu, and surviving Nekomata. He loses Gagyson and takes a serious hit, even as he takes down the Nekomata. George forces himself between Gregory and the demons, giving Gregory a chance to heal but losing his Nekomata in the process.
As you and Kumiko catch up, George sends the Moh Shuvuu crashing to the ground while Gregory slips past the Jack Frost to smash another phone, then the demon itself.
Another Wendigo appears from the furthest phone, and the two begin to move towards your group. If you want to rebalance your formation, now's the time.
(A) Pincer attack to split the Wendigos apart (B) Charge them en masse (C) Have (choose 2) fight the Wendigo while the others slip past to break the phones (D) Take the defensive and heal

You and Gregory spread out, giving the Wendigo plenty of room to charge at Kumiko and George... which they do. Predictably. As they charge the pair, you and Gregory make a break for the phones they were guarding. After you smash the first, a Moh Shuvuu team pops out of the other. Gregory attacks, bringing down one of her subordinate demons. You follow up, finishing the rest of the team. Gregory picks up the phone and crushes it in his hand.
Kumiko and George have brought down one of the demons, but George lost Nekomata. The Wendigo blasts George with a blast of frigid wind, and he falls on his face. "Can't... take any more. Sorry..."
"You...!" Kumiko yells. "Assassination!" She leaps into the air and comes crashing down on the Wendigo. Its subordinates flee before she can get her hands on them.
"...Is that it?" Gregory asks. No more demons appear.
The man in the hood reappears. "You weren't supposed to be here," he says threateningly. "No matter..."
He reaches into his pouch and pulls out another handful of phones. A burst of flames suddenly engulf him. You turn just in time to see the woman of your dreams disappearing into the distance. You turn again and the hooded man is nothing but a pile of ash on the ground.
"What was that?" Kumiko asks. "Where'd that come from?"
You ask if no one else saw that woman.
"No, I was busy looking at the guy screaming about how he was on fire," Gregory says. It seems no one else noticed her...
While the three of you make sure all the phones are destroyed, Rita helps George up. "A-are you OK?"
"I'm fine," he says. "Just bruised my pride a bit. Thank ya."
"Well, that was fun. Guess I should thank you guys. That probably would've been a bit hard by myself," Gregory says.
"Don't be a jerk, ya jerk!" George yells. "This is all yer fault! If ya hadn't called me out fer whatever reason, we wouldn'ta been in that sit'ation to begin with!"
"...Fine. Kira, Kumiko, Rita. Thanks," Gregory says. "And George... Eh. Whatever. Everything worked out."
"You... Ugh." George just walks off.
Gregory smirks as he walks off. "Well, I'll see you guys around." With that, he follows George into the night. The time is 21:00. Pick 4 events.
(A) Downtown (Kumiko) (B) Home (Rita) (C) Town Outskirts (George) (D) Hospital (Gregory) (E) Town Outskirts (Daniel) (F) Hospital (Elise)
Also, it's demon buying time. Pick 6. (1) Vile Orcus (2) Snake Nozuchi (3) Dragon Bai Suzhen (4) Divine Power (5) Avian Hamsa (6) Beast Nekomata (7) Wilder Garm (8) Genma Ictinike (9) Fairy Jack Frost (10) Touki Gozuki (11) Jaki Ogun (12) Femme Leanan Sidhe (13) Ghost Kumbhanda

You decide you may as well deliver the news to Elise personally. As you stroll over, you purchase a few demons from the auction. You call out the first two, Orcus and Bai Suzhen, to make sure you don't slam into anything - like a demon - while you finish the rest of your purchase.
"I'm Vile Orcus. So, you want more power, then? Fine."
"Bai Suzhen, the Dragon. Charmed, I'm sure..."
The guards let you in immediately, and you make your way along the now-familiar path to Elise's office. As you step into the elevator, it groans in protest. Orcus looks at Bai Suzhen accusingly. "How dare you imply-" she begins. You quickly dismiss both your demons.
You call them back out when you step off the elevator, and casually stroll down towards the office. Gregory steps out of Elise's room and gives you a curt nod as you pass. You knock on her door.
"Enter," she says. "Ah, Kira. Good evenin'. I see ya found my gowl of a right-hand man. Good on ya."
You tell her not to mention it. Then clarify that she really shouldn't - Sara might be a bit upset.
"Right, right, fair enough. Say, ya got a minute for a spot o' craic?" Elise asks.
You tell her you have no idea what that is.
"I'm asking to... chew the fat a bit, Kira. Sorry, sometimes I forget... Ah, whatever. You want to jaw or not?"
You tell her you were hoping she'd ask that.
"Hm... Not to drop right into the hard questions, but do you know why I started my cobras?"
(A) "For protection?" (B) "To... help people?" (C) "Because you didn't know what else to do?" (D) "No idea."

"I'm not sure," you admit.
"Oh? Hm. I didn't expect you to know the answer, o' course. I was just curious to see what you think o' me. But your honesty tells me quite a bit, mate. You're extremely diplomatic, or overly honest. So, are ya a snake, or a snake's sham?" Elise eyes you suspiciously.
...What?
"I asked if yer a liar, or a friend to the Cobras?"
You tell her you aren't sure you'd really call yourself a friend to the Cobras, but you're warming up to Elise.
"Ha! 'Overly honest' it is, then," Elise says. "Well, maybe I'll tell ya what I started my group for later, but it's a bit late in the day for that sorta talk, eh? Let's chat about something a bit lighter. Why don't you tell me a bit about how you've been getting on since the demons showed up?"
You spend a few minutes chatting with Elise before heading out. You notice Kumiko hanging around downtown again. You're worried she may still be sifting through the rubble, definitely not safe at night with only half the streetlights still working - and probably none in that area anymore.
You find Kumiko sitting on a pile of rubble, swinging her legs absentmindedly. You notice she's holding something in her hand, and she's so focused on it, she doesn't notice you until you're right behind her. She nearly falls off the rubble in her surprise, but you grab her.
"Jeez, Kira, don't startle me like that! You could've called out or something!"
You tell her wanted to make a point. Plus, if you'd called out and startled her, you couldn't have caught her. You ask what that thing she has is.
"Oh, it's... just a tennis racket."
You ask if she used to play.
"Oh, um... Yeah, I was on my high school team. Junior varsity, but I was probably going to... Well, not that it matters, now. There's no time for playing around when we've got to focus on survival, right?"
(A) Offer to play a round with her sometime (B) Tell her to keep practicing when she's got a spare moment (C) She's right, there's more important stuff to worry about

You tell Kumiko you don't mind playing a match with her sometime.
"Wh- Really? That's... I mean, I appreciate the thought, but there's a lot more important stuff to do..."
You tell her it's important to make sure to have fun sometimes, take your mind off everything wrong, to help keep yourself sane.
"I... Well... I would like to play again... Do you even know how?"
You tell her you know the rules, but you've only played a few times... you aren't very good.
"Well... I don't mind. OK. Once I manage to find some balls and a net, we'll have a match. Er, if that's OK."
You tell her it's a promise.
"OK! I'll hold you to it!" Kumiko seems more enthusiastic than normal. "Um... I'm going to go find some balls! And another racket..." Kumiko runs off excitedly... You head over towards The Farm hunting for George. You make it about a half-mile out of town before you see a figure slumped over on side of the road, and realize it's George. You run over to check on him.
"Ack! Oh, uh, hey Kira. Ya startled me... Oh, I'm fine. Just restin'. Gotta catch my breath after that fight earlier."
You ask if he's OK.
"Yeah, yeah, fine, just... a bit bruised up. I'll be fine with a bit o' time."
You ask what was with that fight earlier.
"I... dunno. That Gregory jerk jus' called me up and tol' me he wanted a rematch after this mornin'... Tol' me to meet 'im at city hall an' not bring anyone else."
...You ask why he would have possibly agreed to that.
"Uh... Pride, I guess? It was pretty stupid, huh?"
(A) "Yes, very." (B) "It's understandable." (C) "Don't be too hard on yourself." (D) "Don't do it again."

While that poll's running, and through the next little bit, your next fusion deliberation is available. Here's your chart (on the third tab). If you're looking up a certain demon, remember all the links you need are in the discussion topic. This is your last fusion chance before the first boss fight, so this poll will close just before that. Remember you need at least 2 demons for each of your 4 party members to have a full team, but any beyond that can be used if one of your demons faints in battle.

I usually let someone vote before me, but I'll vote now I guess...
C.
Fuse Jambavan with Bai suzhen for Slendy.
Fuse Orcus with Kumbhanda for deity Thor.
Fuse Hamse with lean Sidhe for Divine Lailah.
Fuse Garm eith nekomata for ghost Kumbhanda.
That's minus 8,plus 4. So I think we good with that. Unless someone else chirps in.
