Pierce Bow isn't that great compared to other shot styles since you can't concentrate fire on weak points like Rapid or Heavy, though it does have the most generous critical distance.
Rapid is considered the best, with Spread in second. Rapid just allows for easier concentration fire since all shots hit the same spot at most distances, plus it has the amazeballs Teostra Bow with 230 Raw, 30 Blast, and Rapid 4 (Rapid 5 with Load Up) shots.

Oh, everyone just loves the Bow of Light and Courage.
Light and Courage this, Light and Courage that. Can't swing a cat in a room of randoms without hitting a Bow of Light and Courage.
I don't like Rapid much. And I don't like not having Exhaust OR poison coating.
I love my Amnis, and I like walking up behind brute wyverns and giving them the ol' suppository arrow.

I just wish Heavy Arrows were automatically fired at an angle since they arc down so quickly that you can't quick aim with them like the others.

Since I'm using Amnis, I need to make (groan) Akanator gunner armor. Loading and Pierce Up. And hearing, meh. Then charm/slot in either stamina recovery or, if I can find a decent charm, Focus. Stamina Recovery is so, so good. Dunno if it's underrated since I don't go on other forums, but so good for bows. But my Mind Crusher armor's spoiled me with Focus.
I also need more Silver Eggs for Fate gems to slot into French Maid, bump its Fate up a tier at the cost of whatever, but, whatever, that armor's for getting better drops from weak monsters so I don't have to fight them a bunch.
I also found out Furor's only +20 Atk for fighting in the red, but at least it stacks with F Heroics/Adrenaline.

Furor activates when you have red recoverable health. The one that activates at low health is another skill called Potential.

Barrage Eating is your friend. It's a headpiece that gives +10 Loading and is the most efficient way to get Load Up.

And I need my damn Meownster Hunters to bring me 2 Toxic Kumori so I can finish my Spio set already... I've been looking for 2 for so long, the Spio set went from "this would be an OK choice at this level" to "purely ornamental." It's a matter of pride at this point.
Eh... Domnisect needs some Hyper Seltas stuff, Brachy needs to die for some stuff, Scorching Drafa needs Hyper Glavenus - that'll be fun...
I sold a lot of the armor and weapons I haven't used in a while for the sake of eliminating my perfectionist need to upgrade them. Which left my box with a pretty arrangement of 1 horn, 2 hammers, 3 GS, 4 bows, 5 CB, and 6 SA. And all the charms arranged neatly. And the armor sorted by class, set, and frequency of use instead of... Ugh. Body part. Is there an automatic way to do that I don't know about? Equipment sets reordered, names updated, inventory taken... Mm, right, need more raw meat. Ah, it's so... pretty and neat and I'm so paranoid I'll accidentally auto-sort the equipment box.

So HP recovery down's actually a good thing for skeletal. But it should still pair well with Potential (Adrenaline), I think... |

Furor is basically Attack Up L for cheap if you know you can take a few hits.
So, good for Blademaster and not as good for Gunners.

I'm really just building hideous mixed sets for various elements and they all have really low defense because it's gunner armor and I don't feel like farming Hyper Monsters at the moment, so I'm using stuff like Mosgharl gear.

And while messing around trying to improve my thunder setup, I discovered a combination that works for any element with a charm with at least +6 in the element (no slots requires) and has higher defense than all my other setups, while being only slightly less fashionable.

Hunting most monsters with randoms is fine.
Akanator seems to bring out the stupid in people.

Akantor is really easy to bring down if everyone brings flash bombs and combo materials since a flash bomb is a guaranteed stagger and if everyone brings as many as they can (and materials), you can lock him in place for a little under 10 minutes.
