YES!!! He's going to pair Chrom&Robin after all! ;P Also, there are dragon fetishes? I really did not know that. Indeed, there are. Only for Manaketes like Tiki to my knowledge. Don't you just love a woman that can threaten to eat you if you don't do what she says? Riding the skies on her back, whipping through the wind? Only for female dragons. Chapter 7: Incursion
Chrom's endurance astounds you Robin? I wonder if this would this still happen if they weren't B-rank. Or if Robin was male. I see why people do multiple play throughs of this now.
Anyways, RANDOM BATTLE TIME! Because not every fight needs to be significant.
Chrom, Robin, Frederick, Lissa, Lon'qu, Sumia, Panne, Virion, Donnel, Maribelle, Kellam. I remember saying that Lon'qu would be redundant with Chrom unless he was really good...and he turned out to be really good. Between him, Vaike, and Gaius, I'm sticking with the..."Myrmidon" whatever that is.
This time, I'm going to play smarter. I've so far approached this game with a "super casual" mindset, but I need to show I'm at least somewhat competent right? ...or maybe I'll continue my trend of getting Sumia killed.
Oh noes! They killed an old man I've never met until now! Oh well, I got Cordelia to replace him. Let's hope she works out better than Sumia. Pairing people up definitely helps me keep better track of them so...I'm just gonna strap these pegasus knights to others. And man, Frederick+Sumia rips people up. Pick a god and pray indeed.
This is actually...really easy. I definitely didn't need two healers. I think I can swap them up now so I can get some EXP on my weaker guys. Sumia gets a kill for once....AAAAND that's the point where three wyvern riders manage to gank Lissa. I guess I ate those "don't need two healers" thing...damn. Anyways, time to Falchion some Wyverns for the win.
The lesson I'm not learning is that I'm underestimating the terrain advantage of winged units. The correct move there would have been to put my healers into pairs with others to keep them safe when there's no way to guard them.
...are all pegasus knights female? ...why? Anyways, Emmeryn is leaving the group so I'm gonna guess that she dies at some point soon to restore Lucina's timeline and avert a paradox. Or maybe I'm wrong genre savvy on that one.
Nice slap Sumia. Part of me wonders what these cut scenes looks like if you've gotten most of your units killed. Would it be the Chrom and Robin show?
Is "dastard" even a word? Of course I focus on that more than the fact that Ylisstol fell.
Support Time!
Are these barrack chats even worth mentioning? Lon'qu seems to like his space. Miriel has OCD. Cordelia is apparently crushing on someone. Sully randomly got some stat boosts.
Robin and Lon'qu are playing fruit ninja, and she also gives Frederick a work out apparently. And Sumia and Frederick...huh, actually have chemistry. That's a first. Actually, that totally makes sense...they're both Chrom fangirls.
Chrom: B - Robin, Frederick C - Lissa, Sully, Vaike, Sumia
Robin: B - Chrom C - Lissa, Frederick, Virion, Lon'qu
Frederick: C - Sumia
Donnel: B - Kellam
I'm not using either Stahl or Miriel so I think I'll leave them off the list from now on. I'll put them back if something does happen though.

Chapter 7: Incursion...are all pegasus knights female? ...why? IIRC Some other game gave an explanation, I just don't remember which and where.

I forgot to check my level 10 units for class changes. I like Robin the way she is for now, although Dark Mage sounds tempting. I could finally use those Flux tomes I keep finding. There is no way I'm turning my were-bunny into a non-were bunny. Hm...I guess I'm still saving this seal. FYI, I'm like this in most RPGs. I save items to the point of never using them.
Paralogue 3: A Strangled Peace
Saving another village from Risen. Gotcha. I'm going to drop Kellam for Cordelia since I think the movement will come in handy for a mission like this. Donnel will be fine without his HHD-imposed OTP for one battle.
Pair up, don't get careless, don't get cocky. I'm just glad these villagers can take more than one hit, and the AI would rather target my units which can kill them in a single counter attack. There's not much to say here...nobody died. No surprises, nothing. I suppose sucess isn't very interesting.
I got a seraph robe, another log, and a ladle. Cool.
In the support corner, Chrom and Maribelle are at C, Sumia proves her utter incompetence to Frederick, and Panne is talking to Cordelia's pegasus. I'll update the list with the next official chapter.

serenesforest.net/blazing-sword/scripts/supports/farina-karla/Farina and Karla's supports states that pegasi won't let men ride them, but doesn't explain why. And the barracks chats are only worth mentioning because of your way of phrasing them. HHD, you're half-wrong genre savvy. I trust that'll confuse you enough to not change anything. And Sumia's one of the characters who won't die, even on Classic mode, so it wouldn't have changed.

True.
And wait, the enemies preferred to target you instead of the villagers? WTF, I don't recall it ever working like that for me. Those f***ers loved to get at the villagers every chance they got.

#WhyIneedMenimism Though I guess they don't mind if a male is riding alongside a female because the Lovebirds cutscene in this game and Rescuing in past games.

Which, now that I think about it, throws the common theory of needing light riders, and the idea that they simply won't let men touch them. All in all, I can't think of it as anything but them not wanting to obey men.

Which, now that I think about it, throws the common theory of needing light riders, and the idea that they simply won't let men touch them. All in all, I can't think of it as anything but them not wanting to obey men. To be fair, rescuing cuts their speed and skill stats in half and Chrom probably didn't ride Sumia's horse for too long, so they probably tolerate men/heavier loads for short times, but hate having them all the time (or at least makes them bad units). Pair Up is "don't worry about it" tier, because I don't know what happens to, say, Paladin Chrom's horse when Sumia's in the lead over a pit.

For rescuing, it does that for everyone, whether they're female and low CON or Wallace-level, so it doesn't seem to be especially hard on the pegasus or anything. Pair Up is some weird s*** though, gotta admit. But the rest still seems to negate common theories, unless I'm missing something.

Chapter 8: The Grimleal
The desert demands flyers and mages? I guess I'm using both pegasus knights again. Ricken and Miriel are both a low level, but I suppose it couldn't hurt give them a got. I'll have Lon'qu and Donnel sit this one out. Unfortunately, with Sumia's javelins and Frederick's hand axes, I've been using Virion less. I only really used him for the range anyways, so no big loss.
Hi Nowi. Hi Gregor. First impression? I guess Lissa wasn't kawaii enough, and Vaike wasn't dense enough. Also, you better not be able to marry Nowi to anyone.
This desert is messing with my usual strategy of "stick together". I'm strapping Chrom to Cordelia and Frederick to Sumia so they can defend our new recruits. Robin and Marabelle are heading to one of the villages, while Ricken, Miriel, Panne, and Lissa cover them. Oh, and strapping Nowi to Gregor seems like a smart move at the moment. I accidentally stranded Robin and Maribelle since neither of them are mages and I didn't strap them to a pegasus so...looks like they're sitting this one out.
OH MY GOD NOWI'S A WERE-DRAGON. No wonder she gives me Daenerys vibes. I don't trust to put her into open combat yet though since she's level 3, and chances are I'll get her killed....but alright maybe for this one finishing blow. Oh, they give me a scene for it, how nice. Oooooh so that's what a Manakete is. I still like Taugrels more.
One of the villagers gave me a Master Seal. Suima and Cordelia are level 10 now so I'll make a note of remembering to check these new classes out. Wouldn't you know it? Sumia is probably one of my strongest units. Well...she's linked to Frederick so that could be why, but 4 guys in a row just wrecked themselves on her. She's probably killed more guys on this map than all the others combined...Far cry from how she started eh?
Gregor just finish killing former employers. And Gregor is Russian. HHD like Gregor. Lon'qu has competition for his spot in my party now. And PFFFFT Nowi is 1000 something. So she's definitely not jailbait. Gotcha.
Support Time!
Not surprisingly, Miriel and Ricken have rank C now. And...Miriel's a legit scientist...but eh, the red hair, not my thing. Nowi and Gregor rank up too, not surprisingly....and she knit him a sweater out of her skin.
You, dragon fetishist, down boy.
Chrom: B - Robin, Frederick C - Lissa, Sully, Vaike, Sumia, Maribelle
Robin: B - Chrom C - Lissa, Frederick, Virion, Lon'qu
Frederick: B - Sumia
Donnel: B - Kellam
Cordelia: C - Panne
Miriel: C - Stahl, Ricken
Gregor: C- Nowi

Bruh, where you're at in the game, Lissa is 14. And IIRC, Donnel and Ricken are both younger than her.
And why do I keep getting called out on dragons? Why can't I get called out on furries or something?!

Why can't I get called out on furries or something?! Donnel and Ricken are roughly the same age as Lissa IIRC, but Ricken is a particularly short person and looks younger than he looks. I might be wrong on the latter, though.

Intermission: Class Discussion
I though I'd put this into its own section. I have the Master seal and a good number of units above level 10. However, this is usually the point in any other RPGs where I research the hell out of every aspect, form skills to stats, and figure out exactly when to make permanent changes and to who. And I seriously have to fight that urge right now, because I promised myself I wasn't going to research for this game.
Chrom and Robin have their next classes, but those looks like just more of the same. I'm tempted to use it on Sumia or Cordelia since it would be nice to have some variety, but the real clincher is Lissa. I can have a cleric that can do damage? Yes please.
Although...since she's my best healer, I have half a mind to level up Maribelle and see what I can turn her into.
...I also wonder if Donnel has a super special awesome class after slogging through his villager class.
I think I'll wait. I mean, I could buy more of them, but I'm more comfortable waiting. It's not like I need to rise to the game's difficulty level yet.

I'm sure they're not much younger, but I know for a fact Donnel's support opens with her regarding him as one of the few younger than her. "You're one of a precious few allies younger than me, you know? I have to milk this!" Hawt as f***.
