Name: Ceridwen Esther
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Magick type: Elemental
Appearance: Fair skin, jaw length black hair with blue eyes. About 5'8, very sharp facial features. Slender, not really skinny, but around the medium for it. Wears a noble ish black dress, complete with a pendant in the shape of a star. Doubles as a locket. Regular black boots. A sword at her waist, really a short sword.
Hometown: Alibab republic, very regal home.
Notable details: Ceridwen is the scion of a noble family, the Esther's, who play a prominent role on influencing the council. Her father, Ahmad, is an ambassador for Alibab and the Cletian Empire. In fact, she can trace her mothers lineage to an Cletian male. Ceridwen is quite haughty, and has various views on society, much like cleaning up the republic from its most darkest plagues. Whole such acts do go on, she is fortunate to escape such things. She loves to write poetry, and is an accomplished poet, or so she thinks. Really a big softy on the inside. ----
While it's not perfect as I envisioned, I believe it is as close as I can get to her. If anything needs to be changed, or explored upon, let me know.

I'll be honest, I got impatient and skimmed through most of the later posts. I'll just get my character built up to iron out any kinks I'm overlooking and I'll read what I missed in detail later.
Name: Irving Jailus (Last name completely made up by him) Gender: Male Age: 17 Magick Type: Death Magick/Artificial magick Appearance: Unkempt brown hair, medium height, tough build. Has the numbers 0083 tattooed on the back of his neck. He usually wears cotton pants and a leather, long-sleeved top reinforced with light pieces of iron armor around his torso and back, including a lone shoulder pad on his right. He has a bandodler that carry magazines of his "magick cylinders" and a belt that carries the slots he inserts into his weapon (see below) to enchant the cylinders with the magick properties he desires. His eyes are usually brown... But when he becomes "crazed" (see below), his irises turn into an unnerving golden color. He mostly wears a brown hooded robe to conceal most of this, however.
Notable Details: As far as his childhood memories can recall and as far as he was concerned, he was a child slave since the age of between four and seven; his home village presumably burned to the ground by bandit slavers and traded within the black markets somewhere within Austur's western territories. Fortunately, the kind of labor his buyers assigned him was comparatively mild to what a good percentage of other child slaves dealt with. He was merely made to work as a servant/waiter at a whorehouse at some red-light district or another. That's not to say it didn't take a toll on his psyche, though. Though others probably saw him as nothing more than obedient cattle, malice, hatred, and other negative thoughts were being bottled up inside of him, with those feelings getting stronger within him each passing day of being starved, beaten, mistreated, and seen as an inferior in his line of work. The sickening stench and knowledge of what was going on around him didn't help matters. He was becoming increasingly convinced of the fact that most people were sex-crazed pigs that only think about getting some.
Fortunately, a group of people led by a powerful Type-3 mage of some renown eventually came and shut down the local slaving operations, and by extension the whorehouse. The slaves were freed from their shackles, and the adults went on their merry way to find a new life of some kind. However, Elijah knew that the child slaves- Irving among them- didn't have anywhere to go. As such, he founded the village of Lucin, where he and the people he led adopted the children and lived somewhat undisturbed with them.
Once Irving himself had matured, he packed his things- including a new, unseen kind of weapon created by the local blacksmith with special attachments apparently blessed by Elijah and made of some special material or another- and set out towards the outside world. He knew the village was far from wealthy and was dwindling in income, so he decided to go out, find himself a source of income, and send profits back to the village. Despite his previous experiences as a slave, Elijah's support and teachings convinced him for the most part that people are capable of being kind, and not everyone was as amoral as he previously believed. As such, he tried to be as decent as possible to non-hostile people he meets (though a life composed of half the time working at the s***-stain of society and the other in a secluded village full of people with similar experiences has done no favors to his mannerisms and speech) and even developed a dislike for unnecessary violence (but make no mistake, he has no objections to self-defense).
...Which is why, to his annoyance and displeasure, he quickly realized that the only form of adequate income he was able to acquire was through bounty hunting, which went against both his sense of good taste and his foster father's teachings. Worse yet, he quickly realized that those dark thoughts he kept hidden as a slave had come back to either bite him in the ass or help him out; depending on the circumstance. While Elijah was aware that Irving was capable of using Type-2 magick, the most he was able to voluntarily do with it was conjuring a small, orb-like projectile that causes a small detonation on impact.
After getting into some skirmishes, Irving quickly realized that he changes once certain conditions are met. Should he begin to feel a certain amount of physical pain, or should a fight he was in escalate to the point where a good deal of blood and gore is shed, his long-dormant negative emotions flare up within him and possess him and increase his physical abilities. He often refers to this state as his 'crazed' state. In exchange for a massive increase in strength, speed, a passive pain inhibitor, an ability to unleash blasts of dark energy through physical contact, and (for some reason) a better sense of smell, his mind deteriorates into dangerous, bloodthirsty madman (accompanied with a change in eye color and his tone of voice becoming more "growly") perfectly willing to tear his enemies apart limb-from-limb. Fortunately, he's still able to retain enough sense to focus his bloodlust onto the right targets (i.e. not turning against allies or innocent bystanders). As such, he always tries to finish things quickly before things escalate to that point.
Hometown (Give description of home town): Doesn't know his real hometown. However, he considers himself a resident of Lucin; a small village hidden amongst the hills in the Jorkun Pact area. The village was founded by Elijah and a few others to raise the child slaves he helped liberate. Though far from the wealthiest village with not much to offer besides crops, it was a pleasant place to live. Irving had left to other lands and often sends a percentage of his profits to the village to support it.
Weapon (if any): A machete and something his blacksmith pal called a "Ryfel". It's like a medium-length...mini-cannon... thing that lets you put in something small called "Magick Cylinders" through what the blacksmith called "magazines". If you pull a trigger on the weapon, one of the magazine's cylinders shoots out as a projectile. Since it's what Mr. Blacksmith called "bolt-action", Irving must then pull on the side of the rifle to eject the shell of the used cylinder (the magick apparently happens somewhere towards the middle or something) and replace it with a new one from the magazine. Irving himself has no idea how this blacksmith was creative enough to make such a thing.
Under normal circumstances, the thing has little use as a weapon; hitting something with a cylinder from afar was akin to punching them with mild force. However, there is a small slit on the top of the Ryfel's "barrel" that Irving can insert thin, rectangular "Slots" into. These Slots are made of some form of magick-conductive material and enchanted by Elijah. By shooting a cylinder with a Slot equipped into the gun, the slot enchants the cylinder loaded within the weapon to give them a property corresponding to one of the 7 circles of magick, albeit in a limited manner. However, prolonged use of certain slots causes them to overheat, with varying levels of cooldown to them (usually several hour's worth). The slots are as follows:
7th-Circle: Empowers the cylinders being fired to actually become a decent projectile (that appears white). The trigger can be held to become slightly larger and more powerful. Never overheats and as such is considered the "standard" setting. (It is far slower and less insta-kill than a modern-day bullet, so don't worry.) 6th-Circle: Causes the cylinder to break apart and burst into flames upon leaving the weapon's barrel. Range is equivalent to that of a modern-day shotgun. About 16 shots before overheating. 5th-Circle: Turns the cylinder into a burst of a black, poisonous, and hallucinogenic liquid from a darkcap mushroom. About 6 shots before overheating 4th-Circle: Converts the cylinder into some kind of gas projectile that clouds the minds of many people and often causes their magic to not work or malfunction. Two shots before it overheats. May or may not cause trippy hallucinations as a side-effect. Wears off on it's own depending on the person affected. 3rd-Circle: After a charging period of five seconds, fires a slow, rotating, blue triangle projectile. If it makes contact with something, it envelops them in a magic prism that slows down their relative time (inflicts slow, so I hope I got that right). Instantly overheats and may have a cooldown period as long as a full day. Wears off after about seven (non-distorted) minutes. 2nd-Circle: After a charging period of two seconds, fires some dark energy taking the form of a skull that arcs and moves slowly. The first living organism that comes into contact with it instantly decays into ash. Instantly overheats, but can cooldown in as little as ten minutes; possibly because of Irving's Magick Type. His personal least favorite slot as despite it's effectiveness, it leaves little evidence of it's victims; obviously not good if you're a Bounty Hunter trying to prove you killed someone. 1st-Circle: Charging period of three seconds. Creates a rectangular wall of light that stops most direct magick attacks, but fades thirty seconds afterwards. The defensive properties of the wall are one-way, meaning magick fired from behind the shield may pass through it. Three charges before overheating.
Weaknesses: Often hesitates against using certain slots because of a "well what if I'll need to use it later?" mentality. Furthermore, while in his 'crazed' state, he often eschews use of his ranged weapon for some physical, hand-to-hand assaults. By then, he often forgets he has a gun unless reminded by a 3rd party or his opponent likes to stay away a little too much.
While his 'crazed' state is active, he feels very little to no pain. This has it's downsides: although he can shrug off attacks as he charges at someone, he is still hurt by said attacks, and it is not impossible for him to not notice how badly injured he is in a fight until he passes out from blood loss. Furthermore, his rational thought is lessened and is more prone to being outsmarted by things he would otherwise be able to catch and avoid.
He is almost completely helpless against time distorting magick.
Likes: Fruit, meat, playing Cards, fishing, spiders Dislikes: Overt public displays of physical affection, being touched (to the point of entering a 'pseudo-crazed' state with golden eyes, if only to growl at the offender), slavery and slavers, alcohol, broccoli, "the familiar stench", fighting (unless crazed)
Hope that doesn't sound too OP.

Nah, it isn't too OP. You aren't the only one who's character has a 'Crazed' state. My character, Vincent, is practically a god(And worshipped in some places as one) and Smexy's Alucard is infamous for being extremely OP.
Also, glad you decided to join. And I apologize if I came off as a jerkwad earlier, I've been dealing with some nasty business recently and it has me in a foul mood.

And I already have his death planned down to the T. Not that he didn't present solid points, but there was more than Smut interjected into that arc. Although I do see how it comes off as too obscene.

It's not the crazed thing I'm worried about, though. It's more the fact that he has a rifle when everyone else is still throwing rocks at each other in comparison plus him having access to every circle of magic in some way. Anyway, I wanted to try something new for a while, so I decided on a "mode switch" character when it comes to combat. Here, it's going from a focus on ranged, hopefully smarter attacks with resource management to think about, to a pure melee, "unskilled but strong" style that's literally "charge and overwhelm to kill before you get killed". Also I just realized, but Irving's dislike of sex, physical contact, and the "familiar stench" (implications) was a complete accident and has nothing to do with the smut thing. Before getting to the part where I snapped I decided on that due to wacky hijinks that would ensure should he ever meet a nymph.

Pfft, rocks. Was Frieza afraid of Rifles? Cell? Buu? Of course not. And neither is like half the cast. Trust me, you go into battle with that toy against some of the more powerful characters in the RP(Alucard, Vincent, Tafl, Eya, Nivian etc) and you'd get royally trounced.

Don't forget Arcturus. He can make a rock implode you, and later turn it into a nuke.
And Titus can create Energy objects/beams that would awe the Green Lantern corps.

He's still stronger than Elia, Pearl, and I presume Serlen since his BL powers were taken away Possibly Baron too since he's undertrained and only half Vampire.
And Titus is suppose to be OP given his role and status.

Her true powers probably mock even the Gods themselves. Not joking, either.

If he goes to Aliab soon and is hired to infiltrate Silks and Dyes, he just might. It's that thing Wha-Wha keeps bothering Hamon about. Or if he goes to Shiryu. Certain locations might allow him to meet one by chance. Not that those are the only places, but those are the best places.

Baron and Pearl will also be much stronger after some time skips, so I wouldn't have mentioned them either.

So I know Holy magic injures Baron because he's half vampire but he can still be healed by healing magic b/c he's human. Even though him getting hit with a 'cure like spell' is like getting a needle and 'cureaga like spell' is like getting stung by an angry hive of wasps that are just extremely pissed. Yet how would dark magic/ death magic affect him? He is half human but he is half undead. So does he have a restiance or something like that? Or does Dark/ Death Magic just takes a little longer to outright kill him.

Yet how would dark magic/ death magic affect him? He is half human but he is half undead. So does he have a restiance or something like that? Or does Dark/ Death Magic just takes a little longer to outright kill him. Look at it this way. He is vulnerable to Type-1 magick naturally, but since he is half human, he's not quite as vulnerable. He can't be healed by it, since he's still weak to it, not neutral. Now, if Baron was a Type-1, under certain conditions Type-1 magick would be neutral instead. But it's through very specific circumstances, so unless you specifically aimed to meet those conditions, it would be quite a strange coincidence that you did so at all. But not impossible, as one character actually has met those conditions, completely by chance.
And he would be resistant to Type-2 magick, and if Baron is Type-2, then possibly very nearly immune to it, and immune under certain circumstances.
And I just realized that I've forgotten what type Baron is. Whoops, looks like it's time to refresh my memory, and read all the bios again...

He's a type 6. With speciality being fire and wind. Okay I was unsure the affect of holy spells on Baron being half human and half vamp.? I know holy magic hurts him b/c he is a half vamp but to what extent I wasn't sure of?
I know dark magic/ death magic can heal the undead. Yet (for example only), say I was hit by Empires death cloud would it kill Baron instantly or would it inflict a 'poison status' b/c he's also half undead? Or say he used his dark orb attack on Baron (again for example purposes only) what would be the outcome?
