Notable & home town: not from Austur, instead he is from my CYOA's universe, specifically Tourmaline station at the end of the "Golden Age". This is why his magic alignment is unknown and why he has all kinds of super high tech gizmos. He is also a subject of elective genetic augmentation treatments specifically proto-soprundeld suit, thats what the grey skin is about. He is a researcher of spatial manipulation technology working on stable transdimensional rift systems on his home space station Tourmaline.
Weapon: neural interfaced nanite colony system or NINCS.
Since I plan to get him to Austur through a spacial rift accident when and where in Austur would you like me to have him land in?

The technology thing is a no, and I didn't catch this with emperor and Serlen, but Austur isn't the name of a continent. It's the entire realm. The continent that everything's on is essentially Pangea.

Thanks Golurk, you reminded me I didnt give Serlen's continent in his CYOA an official name.
Which astounds me since I've established it is North of Akaneia.
Oh well, at least he is still a badass emperor.

We could just have Serlen sort of switch dimensions or whatever, or he could just be a crazy liar.
The biggest problem though is the technology.

I never said mine was from a different continent, he is from a whole nother universe. I plan to right him in through a experimenting with spacial rifts plot line. And his high tech gear is supposed to be incongruous, that is what sets him apart and makes him relevant this late in the story. Also I promise the NINCS wont be too op.
