I guess Sam is kind of like that an active NPC while Catie is a little more b/c she was originally just going to have a raiper and a form of life magic (her transformation from her 'human' to wolf form). With this current ark I am doing with Neo she also is going to be decent with a bow. She wouldn't be able to snipe people from over 5 miles yet, but she will be able to handle a bow..... I guess she is my second main after all or at least in between active NPC and main character.

I already said you could have more than one character.

Let's just say having a character with extremely advanced technology would kick start an event that would kill everyone. Well how advanced is too advanced?

I didn't see it then. I'll have her up soon. Now for a Norse, or Celtic name, and I can build her up from there.

Well how advanced is too advanced? Think FFV levels of technology in terms of what's allowed. So airships, reactors, submarines, and flying cities are ok, but nanites and bio-mechanical interfaces are a no go? Is it a matter of scale or does the tech just have to be magic powered?

Submarines aren't really that hi-tech. Well, basic ones at least. Neither are airships. The flying city is a no, and the reactor was a combustion engine powered by the Fire Crystal. That's not terribly hi-tech. There's a huge difference between an airship powered by Phlebotinum that uses basic aerodynamics to fly and a silicon-based bio-mechanical interface that connects to the user's neural network.

True. I'm just trying to feel out the line that I can't cross.

Silicon would be needed as a conduit.

Silicon would be needed as a conduit. Augmented diamond is used instead. More durable and just as customizable, can't be done in real world but magic particle research in my CYOA allowed it. Sorry for the tangent by the way.

Ok attempt number 2.
Name: Mid (short for Amidale) Heirlīn Gender: male Age: 24 Magic alignment: elemental multi type (fire, steal, air) Appearance: 5'6" thin build, dusty blond hair, grey eyes, grey shirt, leather vest, tool belt, denim pants, metal plated boots, and a pair of welding goggles. Note worthy: grandson of the renowned crack-pot inventor Sid Heirlīn. An accomplished tinker in his own right. Seeks to bring his grandfathers unfinished dreams to fruition then find ever greater advancements to mage-tech. Home town: Rexgoba a small town near the Alibab, Cerlien border. Home of his family's gear works. Weapon: a set of enchanted nails.
Does this one work? Steampunk vibe this time.

Speaking of that, is there any nobles houses in Austur that Ceridwen can be apart of on the Cletian empire?

Yellowclover, that's fine.
As for your question, Emperor, Cleatia is similar to the Roman Empire, in that it has an emperor and a senate, but no real nobles with concrete political power. Alibab is better suited for that.

Now who's ark should I merge my character into. Right now I plan to write his intro scene in his home town but you'll soon see he plans to travel.

Speaking of that, is there any nobles houses in Austur that Ceridwen can be apart of on the Cletian empire? We've established all of two noble families. One, the royal family, and another that at this point has only been established to contain two people. I don't even remember if their actual surname has even come up yet or not.
