- Characters take the form of either Main characters or Card characters. Main characters are typically supposed to be the main character of a CYOA or the main character of an individual participant of an RP's storyline (ex. User 3 uses Bob as their main character in the "Jose's Magical Journey" RP). Card Characters initially appear in Oz as Cards in a Main Character's deck and may be awakened at any time, where they mostly function like any other character. - There are also Summon Cards for characters with higher power levels or particular importance, where they will appear for a few seconds/minutes, perform an attack (or another action if you choose it), and then return to card form. - Should one wish to avoid revealing major spoilers, cards may also be "locked" until you decide to use them. This applies to both Card Characters and Summon Characters, though Summon Characters are initially locked by default. Neat black hair. Wears a white dress shirt and black tuxedo, black dress pants and shoes, and black gloves (though he takes them off when in his own living quarters). The tuxedo is long enough to cover his belt, where he keeps the majority of equipment he doesn't store within his suit. Sometimes wears a black opera mask that covers his face, save for the area around his mouth. The white eye holes of the mask are one-way, so others can't see his eyes while he's wearing it. Has a small contraption beneath his sleeves to hide his knives in. Weapons: A handgun, a large quantity of smoke bombs, and two knives hidden under his sleeves. Though it's not intended as a weapon, he can also use Rotom to weaponize Protect-Generators by charging stored up energy and unleashing it all at once by unleashing a blast of white-hot shards of energy. This destroys the device, however. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: - His black opera mask is electronic and allows him to see with night and thermal vision. - He possesses a Cosmic Drive; a small, oval-like device that allows him to send thoughts and hold conversations with his Pokemon, surpassing the Pokemon-to-human language barrier. He can link with up to 6 other Pokemon at a time and speak to them all at once, as long as the Pokemon are those he's developed a bond with. The thoughts he sends out are quick and he can hold a lengthy conversation that lasts only for a few seconds. As a result, he can quickly come up with and relay plans to his Pokemon, which can be carried out to devastating effects. He can also adopt a Pokemon's abilities if the Pokemon is the only one he's linked to, but he has trouble controlling these abilities and therefore rarely uses this ability. - Possesses a Protect-generator that can take the form of either a wall or a dome. The barrier can absorb most attacks, but shatters under prolonged stress or particularly powerful attacks. - Has semi-professional martial arts training. He usually wears cotton pants and a leather, long-sleeved top reinforced with light pieces of iron armor around his torso and back, including a lone shoulder pad on his right. He has a bandodler that carry magazines of his "magick cylinders" and a belt that carries the slots he inserts into his weapon (see below) to enchant the cylinders with the magick properties he desires. His eyes are usually brown... But when he becomes "crazed" (see below), his irises turn into an unnerving golden color. He mostly wears a brown hooded robe to conceal most of this, however. Weapons: A machete and something his blacksmith pal called a "Ryfel". It's like a medium-length...mini-cannon... thing that lets you put in something small called "Magick Cylinders" through what the blacksmith called "magazines". If you pull a trigger on the weapon, one of the magazine's cylinders shoots out as a projectile. Since it's what Mr. Blacksmith called "bolt-action", Irving must then pull on the side of the rifle to eject the shell of the used cylinder (the magick apparently happens somewhere towards the middle or something) and replace it with a new one from the magazine. Irving himself has no idea how this blacksmith was creative enough to make such a thing. Under normal circumstances, the thing has little use as a weapon; hitting something with a cylinder from afar was akin to punching them with mild force. However, there is a small slit on the top of the Ryfel's "barrel" that Irving can insert thin, rectangular "Slots" into. These Slots are made of some form of magick-conductive material and enchanted by Elijah. By shooting a cylinder with a Slot equipped into the gun, the slot enchants the cylinder loaded within the weapon to give them a property corresponding to one of the 7 circles of magick, albeit in a limited manner. However, prolonged use of certain slots causes them to overheat, with varying levels of cooldown to them (usually several hour's worth). The slots are as follows: 7th-Circle: Empowers the cylinders being fired to actually become a decent projectile (that appears white). The trigger can be held to become slightly larger and more powerful. Never overheats and as such is considered the "standard" setting. (It is far slower and less insta-kill than a modern-day bullet, so don't worry.) 6th-Circle: Causes the cylinder to break apart and burst into flames upon leaving the weapon's barrel. Range is equivalent to that of a modern-day shotgun. About 16 shots before overheating. 5th-Circle: Turns the cylinder into a burst of a black, poisonous, and hallucinogenic liquid from a darkcap mushroom. About 6 shots before overheating 4th-Circle: Converts the cylinder into some kind of gas projectile that clouds the minds of many people and often causes their magic to not work or malfunction. Two shots before it overheats. May or may not cause trippy hallucinations as a side-effect. Wears off on it's own depending on the person affected. 3rd-Circle: After a charging period of five seconds, fires a slow, rotating, blue triangle projectile. If it makes contact with something, it envelops them in a magic prism that slows down their relative time (inflicts slow, so I hope I got that right). Instantly overheats and may have a cooldown period as long as a full day. Wears off after about seven (non-distorted) minutes. 2nd-Circle: After a charging period of two seconds, fires some dark energy taking the form of a skull that arcs and moves slowly. The first living organism that comes into contact with it instantly decays into ash. Instantly overheats, but can cooldown in as little as ten minutes; possibly because of Irving's Magick Type. His personal least favorite slot as despite it's effectiveness, it leaves little evidence of it's victims; obviously not good if you're a Bounty Hunter trying to prove you killed someone. 1st-Circle: Charging period of three seconds. Creates a rectangular wall of light that stops most direct magick attacks, but fades thirty seconds afterwards. The defensive properties of the wall are one-way, meaning magick fired from behind the shield may pass through it. Three charges before overheating. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Upon witnessing a certain about of blood, gore, and carnage, OR being subject to a certain amount of pain, the negative thoughts inside of him take the form of 2nd-circle magick and he undergoes an unwilling change in personality he calls the crazed state. During this period, he seemingly forgets all about he previous weapon and shows a preference to vicious head-on-assaults meant to overwhelm enemies. His personality becomes bloodthirsty and violent and he gains a drastic increase in strength, speed, and sense in smell and the amount of pain he feels is lessened. He can also unleash massive blasts of dark energy through physical impacts like punches. Fortunately, he retains enough sense in his bloodlust to remember who his real enemies are and doesn't attack his friends and allies. Though the pain he feels is inhibited, he is still wounded normally by attacks, which can lead to his passing out should he neglect or fail to notice his injuries until he's lost too much blood. Cohorts (if applicable): N/A Bio: A former child slave who used to be forced to work at a whorehouse. He was rescued and adopted by a sorcerer named Elijah alongside the other child slaves and raised in a secluded village in the Jorkun Pact region. Upon maturing, he took a weapon given to him by Haled, the local blacksmith, and set out to find a source of income for him to donate to the village. Unfortunately, the only work he managed to find was as a bounty hunter. Personality: Due to spending most of his childhood as a slave in a whorehouse and the rest of it around people with similar experiences, his speaking patterns and mannerisms often make him seem rude, despite his attempts to behave otherwise. Despite his occupation, he has a good head on his shoulders and tries to do good when he can. When he's crazed, however, he becomes bloodthirsty and his voice turns growly. He becomes more prone to cussing and outright insulting those around him, though he usually keeps his bloodlust directly only toward his enemies and doesn't attack his allies. He involuntarily shifts in-and-out of an accent when he speaks. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: -Riley is a trained manipulator of aura - the life essence within every living creature. By manipulating his own aura, he can view the auras within others, allowing him to locate them over long distances and being able to read their emotional wavelengths and anticipate their physical movements even if he's blinded or seeing them through walls. He can also project his aura to form barriers and attacks such as Force Palm, and Aura Sphere, as well as release built up aura in what spectators called an Aura Burst, which is useful when a psycho Regice is trying to freeze him alive. However, overuse of his aura abilities prove to be detrimental to his physical health. - Is a trained martial artist. - Is also in possession of a Cosmic Drive of his own, replaced after he seemingly misplaced his old one. At one point she was persuaded to join Team Yveltal and enact vengeance against Nova. She soon learned the error of her ways and, ashamed of what she had become, turned to living a modest life in Eterna City with a few (relatively) peaceful Yveltal followers. She eventually ran into Riley, whom she used to date before Nova took over, in the middle of a mission and was persuaded to join Mewtwo, where she reunited with two fellow Stat Trainers. Currently, the four of them are performing in Mewtwo operations on their own. Personality: Gentle and polite, with a calm demeanor at all times. However, she loses her composure easily when reminded of the time her evac ship was shot down and developed mild claustrophobia as a result. In battle, she can perform uncharacteristically violent acts without a second thought, though she does fear for her mental health at her lack of empathy when she does so. Becoming disillusioned with Xerneas command due to what she perceived as poor decisions by Neal Ferre, she kept this news private with Mira until Xerneas was assimilated into Mewtwo. There, she and Mira were reunited with Riley and Cheryl, upon which she explained the situation regarding Shaymin and the four of them raided Nova's Flower Paradise base with assistance from a boy named Austin and a man named Eusine. The operation successful, she finally acquired a bundle of beautiful Gracidea Flowers. She gave one to Shaymin, who decided not to undergo the migration and stay with Marley. Ever since, she and her dear friends have performed various Mewtwo operations on their own. Personality: Cynical and blunt, with a cold demeanor and a lack of empathy toward her enemies. However, look past that and you'll find someone who means well, appreciates the beauty of human kindness, and possesses a great amount of loyalty to her friends. Rarely raises her voice. After a spectacular display of noise going back to her living quarters in search for one device in particular because of Marley's Shaymin being more agitated than usual, Mira and Marley reunited with Riley and Cheryl, and the four of them launched an assault on Nova's Flower Paradise base (along with unexpected help from a boy named Austin and a man named Eusine), recovered some Gracidea Flowers, and rescued Victini, who was brainwashed by extracts from Gracidea Flowers. From then on, Mira and co. have performed various operations under Mewtwo's banner... Though she secretly wishes it was under Xerneas's banner, sometimes. They can be charged with more power, turning them into a terrifying force of power, but doing so requires massive amounts of energy. They can still be charged at increments, however. Powers, Traits, and Abilities: Shadow Clone, Darkness Incarnate, Total Eclipse, Black Out, True Invisibility, Immortality, Instantaneous Strike, Shadowflare, Devastation, Demonic Fury, Lichdom, Dark Ascension, Fatality, Blood Magic, Necromancy, Unholy Blessing Shadow Clone: Splits his shadow into a dozen different shadows, and melts into the ground, turning into a shadow himself. The shadows confuse and confound his opponent, while he strikes from behind. Can only be used in the daytime, and outside. Darkness Incarnate: He is darkness itself, and is immune to all dark damage and Death Magic(2nd circle). He is unaffected by Instant Death attacks, as well as Disease, Poison, and Crippling ailments. He is naturally resistant to most magic and physical attacks, but has a severe weakness to Holy/Light magic. Total Eclipse: Completely blankets the Sun in darkness for five minutes. Can only be used in daytime. Due to the massive amount of energy required, once used, he cannot use it again for several days. Black Out: Extinguishes all manmade light sources in the area. Can only be used once every 12 hours. True Invisibility: For one minute, he can fade from existence entirely, unable to be seen, heard, or smelled. If he attacks during this state, the spell wears off. Immortality: The power of a fallen deity. Once per battle, he can survive a lethal attack and recover some of his wounds. Instantaneous Strike: A lightning fast sword strike. Weak in power, but cannot be dodged or blocked, and could leave him open against tougher opponents. Shadowflare: Summons the darkness of the netherworld to inflict massive damage on any caught in the blast. It has a very slow charge rate, and can be dodged by fleeing the blast radius. If he's interrupted before he can cast, it leaves him vulnerable for a short period of time. Devastation: A series of lightning quick sword strikes to every enemy in range, followed by a much weaker version of Shadowflare with a nearly instant charge time. Can only be used once per battle. The sword strikes have a range of 20 meters, and the mini Flare has a range of 50 meters. Demonic Fury: For a short period of time(Around ten minutes), his weapon strikes are much faster, and his speed and strength greatly increase. He cannot cast magic during this time or use any other abilities. If he is hit with Holy/Light magic, Demonic Fury ends, and he is vulnerable to the next attack. Can only be used once per battle. Lichdom: Allows him to transform into his Lich form. His magic resistance skyrockets, but he becomes more vulnerable to physical attacks. He cannot be killed in this form, but he cannot use his swords or any sword skills while transformed. His preferred weapon in Lich form is Ereshkigal and Animus, which are powerful orbs of darkness that hover around him. Can last for up to an hour before he loses too much energy and is forced to revert. Holy/Light magic causes him to revert immediately. Dark Ascension: Only used as a last resort. He surrenders to his other half, becoming one with the Lord of the Abyss, and assumes a terrifying, godlike form known as a Fallen One. He becomes insanely hard to damage, and the destructive force of his attacks is unimaginable, but any and all attacks consume unbelievable amounts of Mana. Staying as a Fallen One for longer than twenty minutes will kill him. He loses his ability to think and plan rationally in this form. He can also accidentally become a Fallen One, if he uses too much Mana over a short period of time, or loses control of his emotions. Holy/Light magic will cause him to revert to human form, though it could kill him in the process. His family possesses the unique ability to return him to normal unharmed. After reverting, he doesn't have the strength to fight for several days. Fatality: Upon successfully defeating/killing an enemy, he gains a small strength/magic boost to his next attack. Blood Magic: By using his own blood, he heals the wounds of those close to him. The more blood sacrificed, the stronger the spell and the wider the range. However, using excess amounts can leave him weak and drained, or even kill him. Necromancy: Long dead warriors heed his call, and rise from their graves. He can summon up to twenty Skeletal Warriors to fight for him. The Skeletal Warriors are fairly powerful, but are relatively easy to defeat. Only usable once per day. Unholy Blessing: At the cost of his own health, he can grant a boost to the offensive and defensive capabilities of all his nearby allies. This leaves him slightly drained, and vulnerable to attack. Cohorts: Raijin, a female Red Tailed Hawk. She is his constant companion, and he often sends her to scout ahead. Her cries can make even the strongest of warriors tremble in fear, as they herald the coming of Nobunaga, the Demon King. Bio: The only son of the goddess Plague and a ruthless human conquerer, Shiryuans believe him to be the god who resides over death and the underworld. He is immortal, and his powers over darkness, disease, and death are unmatched. His entire human family was massacred in what is now known as the Night of Sacred Waters, though he himself managed to escape with the help of his nursemaid. Later, he accidentally stumbled upon the Forbidden Knowledge of the Old Gods, and was cursed for it. The knowledge killed him, but he was resurrected by a powerful Necromancer. Upon his birth into undeath, something went terribly wrong, and he was reborn as a powerful Lich. He retained his normal human appearance and memories, as well as a portion of the Forbidden Knowledge. The Necromancer who raised him became his mentor and teacher, though Vincent didn't find out until centuries later the old man was actually Morgoth, the King of Worms, and greatest Necromancer who ever lived. After Morgoth's death, Vincent succumbed to his darker side, and became a terror of the night, and a scourge across the land. He became known as the Black Death, and history records those dark days as 'the 500 days of night'. He was eventually defeated and cast into the Ocean, in the legendary battle of Red Wind. He was found drifting in the sea by his true mother, and he lived at her temple for a time. Eventually, he went on to slay the Immortal Yawata, the Shiryuan god of war, and cement his place in the pantheon. Afterwards, he lived in Gorgoth, the mythical City in the Mountain, for a couple centuries. He later married and had two children. Sarcastic and witty, he is an enigmatic man with a flair for the dramatic. Despite this, he is a cunning tactician and a ruthless warrior. Personality: Cryptic and aloof, most consider him a complete enigma. He is adept at keeping his emotions in check, and is only open around his family. He is a firm believer in chivalry and honor, and has an unusually strong love for puzzles and history. He despises all dark magic, and even tried to kill himself once, but he was stopped by the woman who would later become his wife. Bio: Created as part of the Ultimate Weapon to end a war 3000 years ago, Yveltal's story is long. Tempted to follow Xerneas's lead, Yveltal started pointing destructive humans towards Nova, contracting them to stave off their deaths. Her "rebellion" was informal and Yveltal's in name only, but occasionally caused enough havoc to warrant Nova's ire. She recently offered her contract to Saturn, who took the chance for rebellion and ran with it. While amused by Galactic's actions, their reawakening of the Ultimate Weapon is worrying. If Saturn is ever to outlive his usefulness, Yvetal would be happy to fix that. At some point in her time line, she met Celeste 1000 years in the past and froze him in time until present day in exchange for an eldritch weapon of unlimited power. The end result is him temporarily sprouting pokemon parts to attack. Creating a new Mewtwo, Blue led the rebel army until his search for Red gave him cause to depart. Although he spent much time behind the scenes, he has recently recruited Molly and Eusine to help him capture Regigigas. Receives visions of the future, often at very appropriate times. As a teenager, she took shelter in their world to escape the Nova war. The world of the Unown however, is not a place meant for three dimensional beings. The longer she stayed there the more she began to slip away from reality, and it was only through bonding with the Unown could she remain intact. Eventually, Blue pulled her from the Unown's world, scarred from her experience but otherwise unharmed and unaged for the years she had spent there. Armor Mega Stone and Nova Drive allows him to use any pokemon as a base to create an incredibly powerful mechanized monster and control it from within. Mask that covers his face with a digital display that isn't limited to facial expressions. Cyborg endoskeleton with nanogene repair units. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Weapons engineer and scientist. Face was disfigured by an incident with a Toxicroak, forcing him to wear a mask. Has cybernetic implants that allow him mental control over his suit and derivative machines. Theme Song: Supremacy - Muse Bio: Was the youngest of the Galactic admins, under the name Mercury. Didn't like the idea of going straight after Galactic fell, but he didn't have much of a choice. Eventually came to resent the other Galactic admins for treating him like a little kid. It didn't help that Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars all stopped aging after accidentally meeting some deities, allowing them to never grow older while Harry caught up. When Nova came, he defected from Galactic completely, shedding his former name and becoming one of Celena's Nova Executives. In a skirmish with the newly rebellious Galactic, Saturn's Toxicroak permanently disfigured Harry's face, adding the final bit of fuel to the fire that he swears will burn Galactic to the ground. Tech level: Futuristic Name: Marissa Delacour Weapons: Heavy-weapons Ironman-esque suit loaded with lots of missiles, bullets, lasers and things like that. Suit has four semi-organic tendrils used for slicing, drilling, stabbing, and other manipulative work. Without her suit she carries two rapiers and a metal whip that can be charged with different types of energies, and lined with different toxins. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: High level Psychic. She controls all of her weapons and technology telekinetically. Her other psychic specialty is mental domination, allowing her to take control of another's body. Advanced chemist, specializing in mind-altering medication, mostly used to weaken their mind enough to take over. Extractions expert, which is another way to say "torturer". Theme Song: Bliss - Muse Bio: The daughter of former Galactic Admin Venus and Nova Executive/Academy Headmaster Guy Delacour. She was barely able to walk when Galactic fell, and was still very young when both of her parents began work for Nova. Her mother was a psychic and a chemist while her father was an extractions expert, both of whom had a thing for mind control. You can imagine her family life was pretty messed up without even counting the fact that she was raised completely inside of Nova. With the passing of her mother and the death of her father at the hands of an assassin, she took up both of her parents' roles to become the youngest ever Nova Executive. She recently dealt with an incursion on her home base, where the one person she managed to capture and mind probe just happened to be the man who killed her father, Eusine. She's not really one for revenge, but he's definitely going to be one to bring out her more sadistic side. Tech level: Futuristic Name: Celena Septem Weapons: A ludicrously powerful heavy-weapons Ironman-esque suit loaded with lots of missiles, bullets, lasers and things like that. Suit can teleport over top of her in parts, and teleport her freely within a given radius. Normally draws power from a satellite network, which gives her enough energy to destroy an island in one blast, or in one case, an entire region. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Genius level engineer but also incredibly psychotic while in battle, to the point that psychic assaults and probing don't work on her. Arceus of course, bets that the humans will not let this happen, and hopes that after enough cycles, Giratina's rage will be quelled. Last Ride: Mounting his skateboard, Leo charges his opponent head on, then vanishes at the last moment. He reappears above his opponent, and screams at the top of his lungs. While his opponent is reeling, he slams his skateboard into his/her knee, and walks away like an adorable badass.
Trick or Treat: Leo pulls a lollipop out of his pocket, and offers it to his opponent. If his opponent accepts, Leo steps back and grins, and the lollipop explodes into dark mist, badly poisoning them. He then follows it up with a powerful blast of darkness. If the opponent refuses, Leo throwsthe lollipop at them to distract them, and unleashes a beam of darkness.
Scarry-Go-Round: Leo forms a nearly impenetrable shield using his Yo-Yos, blocking all attacks for one minute. Magic is reflected back at the caster, and physical attacks harm the attacker instead. Has a 1 hour cooldown.
The Leonaught: Leo focuses all his power into a single mighty blow. While it takes time to charge, it is extremely powerful.
Awesomeness Incarnate: While on his skateboard, all enemy attacks have a 20% better chance to miss. Once per battle, he can evade any one attack, regardless of the attack's power or the enemy using it.
Game of Shadows: Leo conjures 100 different shadows, excluding his own, and hides himself in one of the shadows. He then creates a nearly impenetrable barrier of darkness surrounding him and his opponent, and the opponent cannot leave until he/she guesses which shadow Leo is hiding in. An incorrect guess results in a Yo-Yo to the face. While it is possible to break the barrier, it is exceeding difficult, even for another Type 2 Mage. If guessed correctly, the game ends, and Leo promises not to dodge the next attack. He lies. Can only be used once per battle.
Wish or Die: Leo offers to grant his opponent any one wish. If they play along, his eyes change color, and he retrieves an eery white mask from his backpack. He then draws the number three into the ground, and asks for three requests. If his opponent grants those requests, Leo will give him/her a random item, which he enchanted beforehand. The item will explode in his/her face. If his opponent doesn't ask for a wish, the game is ended, and Leo can't use this ability for another three battles. If his opponent asks for a wish, but doesn't grant his requests, Leo summons several undead warriors and attacks en mass, while still in his 'Changed' state. In his Changed state, all damage done to him is halved and his speed is greatly increased.
Supersonic: Greatly increases his speed for the duration of five minutes. Only usable once per battle.
Underworld's Heir: Leo finally stops playing around, and begins to fight for real. He transforms into his Changed form, and summons two mighty spears of darkness, each over twelve feet long. His hair turns white and his eyes turn a crimson red. All damage done to him is halved, and his speed is greatly increased. He can only remain in this form for up to half an hour. Can only do this once per encounter. - Big Banga; an all powerful explosion which destroys anyone caught up in the explosion be careful about unleashing it too close otherwise you can get caught up in the blast - Aethar; the same skill used by Ike, Chrom, and Lucina, attack consecutively first strike attacks for half defense, second strike heals for half of his health - Tanoki Suit; Mario throws on the Tanooki suit for a defensive boost and the ability to take one hit in stone form , also a chance to deflect attacks; also grants him immunity to being petrified - Ultima (from FF); By defeating the extremely difficult spoiler boss (and this boss I pull no punches, as a tiny preview the attack is Infinite). Mario gains the ability to weild Ultima one of the most powerful magics around. Unfortunately by using this skill he can't use any of his other skills for one hour. Brobot Type M (A Mario mini that can be turned into a giant mech in times of need) When a giant is treating Mario and his friends Mario can call upon Prince Luma and Starlow to summon Lumabot. While Lumabot is active it can fire missiles for attacks, has access to basic punching and kicking techniques, etc. Lumabot has a one time used technique where he can charge a beam of immense destruction but after the attack Lumabot disappears. He also has access to twin swords he can use. Luma bot can only be summoned when another giant is present otherwise their will not be enough power for Starlow to charge Prince Luma. Basically, a Star Spirit gets its power by people's wishes and w/o the immediate threat of another giant then Starlow will not have the necessary energy to charge it. Minion summons: Bowser uses the power of the magic Wand to summon his minions. Depending on the "Tier" of minion determines the amount of energy to summon minion. Low tier he can summon a bunch of but Boss Tier only a few before the Wand is drained of all its energy. The Wand recharges completely after the encounter. Goomba Tier (these are the weakest of the weak, looking at them is enough to kill them): Can summon a near infinite amount but pretty much there only use is shielding and get in the way. Low Tier (Don't expect too much out of this Tier but hey its better then Goomba Tier not that its saying much): Can summon a bunch of these minions can do minimum damage or provide a tiny bit of utility. Minions: Cheep Cheep, Green Shells (when fired Fire in a straight line), Pirahna Plants, Buzzy Beetles, etc. Mid Tier (now this is where the fun begins, these minions actually but up a decent fight before they are defeated.Does average damage and average utility, can summon a decent amount of them before the wand is drained.) Minion example: Pirnah plants (the one that launches Fireballs), Bullet Bills, Red shells, etc. High Tier: (these minions are highest of the highest. They give foes all sorts of trouble and give take quite a beating before they are defeated. Only draw back is they take a lot of energy to summon so Bowser can only summon a few before the wand is drained.) Minion ex: Charging Chucks, Heat seeking (blinky) Bullet Bills, Blue shells, Banzi Bill, Magikoopas, Thomps, etc. Boss Tier: (The only minions higher them than are the Koopalings, Bowser Jr, and of course Bowser. These are some of his most trusted and value minions and are often tasked with guardian important objects. They boast the highest utility and present the greatest difficulty. Unfortunately, the amount of energy required to summon them is very high so Bowser can maybe summon like 2 maybe 3 before the wand is completely drained.) Minion Example: Petty Piranha, Bob-omb King, Thomp King, Boom Boom, etc. Star Rod Bowser: TBA Great Lord Bowser (requires a Bowser Seal to use this form. If all out then have to find a master or second seal and Kammy and Kamek need to use Koopa magic to transform into a Bowser seal. Usually takes 2 battle for the process to be completed.) Bowser has access to his minions in this form and summoning requirements is half. His spikes and claws are spiker and sharper causing greater physical damage. He is a bit slimmer and he rides upon a Rexor (the Tricerotops boss from Super Mario World) allowing for greater mobility and speed. Bowsers flame breath is stronger and he has access to flame magic (basically Firaga). Bowser is adorne with special armor and a cape to reduce physical and magical damage. Finally Bowser gains access to a spear which was born of his flames. Bio: To say Bowser is not the sharpest tool in the shed is too give him way too much credit. At this point the only reason he can kidnap Peach at all b/c toads are by far the worse security system. Cooldown of 3 battles if fused with Zekrom/Reshiram. *Bio: Since no one thinks of asking it directly, Kyurem's exact origins are subject to debate. A Lacunosa Town folk tale claims that Kyurem came from an Icy Meteor that crashed into Giant Chasm, and that it would take humans and Pokemon away to devour them. Others say that Kyurem is in fact the "empty" shell left behind from the dragon that split off into Zekrom and Reshiram long ago, and that it longs for a hero to fill it with "truth and ideals", suggesting a desire to reunite with Zekrom and Reshiram. Stage Selection: Jeckel combines the ultimate Illusion Magic with almighty Creation Magic, allowing him to change the battlefield at will. Known as the Mad Doctor, or the Dark One, he is a complete enigma. While his true age is unknown, it is rumored he has lived for millions of years. All accounts of sighting him are conflicting Weapons: None known Bio: One day, a man in his desperation to reaffirm their belief in humanity (Ozmanity?) decided that there was no way the Wordsmiths, his bretheren, could have thought of such twisted monsters that continued to plague Oz. So the Wordsmiths were surveyed. The surviving ones anyways. What drove them to summon these abominations? Who ever would have thought the Straw was a good idea? Who would ever want to remove all feeling from a thinking being? Why would any committee of people condone the destruction of the world via colony drop? The results were curious. The most frequent answer was along the lines of "it just came to me". An idea popped into their head and they decided to carry it forth thinking that they were oh so brilliant for coming up with a solution. The curious part was that every single summoner got their inspiration in a moment of absentmindedness. One summoner claimed to have walked into a room, having no idea why he did so, but suddenly found himself entertaining the idea of an energy parasite. Another was nearly asleep in bed when a wolf's howl disturbed his semi-lucid thoughts, and he realized he was contemplating the magic needed to summon an asteroid to hit the earth. From that point on, these types of incidents were documented, and people recorded themselves in secrecy. It took a while, but eventually evidence was procured, and only out of sheer determination to reveal the truth. If you watched the tapes, you would find nothing. However, if you found one of those absentminded events, and kept your eyes glued to the time stamp, you would find a strange bit of corruption. In a few very rare places, the recording time skipped forward by maybe half a minute or so. And if you checked a time in the real world...time has skipped forward by maybe half a minute or so too. One second it's 1:32:40 and the next its 1:33:20. Go back and watch it again, and the same thing happens. And this is not because time has actually skipped forward. Time mages have confirmed this. Rather, it is because you are incapable of remembering what you have just seen. A man comes to you and declares the deliciousness of pizza. The moment he leaves your sight, you forget he ever existed, but still echoing in your mind is the thought that pizza is delicious. And now you crave pizza. There's no reason you can think of, you just feel like pizza tonight. The people of Oz took up arms, studying what kind of magic this could possibly be and how to construct a defense against it. Their efforts have been largely unsuccessful, although we have pulled back the curtain just slightly. We've seen footprints (all different shapes and sizes) and shadows (ditto) but nothing outright. All that we know is that someone is out there with this power and he has likely been manipulating everyone for a long time. So now this next questions stands. If there is a man is capable of such influence...why has he let us discover him? Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities:There are only two things we know for sure about this man. The first is that he exists. The second is that he can erase portions of memory completely, and anything he has said in this erased time is likely to influence your behavior afterwards. It has been deduced that either he can teleport, or he is capable of shape-shifting, as there is never any sign of his coming and going. Another possibility is that his memory-proof abilities can be turned on and off. Study of memory magic and psionics has never been able to replicate this feat. It is possible to perform a mind wipe, but the subject is always aware that they have forgotten something, which isn't the case here. To reach such a high level of mental manipulation, the Man Behind the Curtain is likely also a very powerful mage or psychic, and the memory-proofing is done through an as-of-yet undiscovered technology. Bio: The people of Oz decided drastic measures needed to be taken to end the war. The nightmares were too strong, and so they decided on the ultimate scorched earth strategy. They would do as Majora had tried to do and drop a Moon on the earth that would dent Roshi's shell. The land would sink, the oceans would sweep in, and the land would be cleansed. Roshi would heal in time, and Yggdrasil would shelter survivors to recreate life in a whole new world. At the very least, the impact would kill all the nightmares. They tried it. They made a moon. They dropped it. It landed. Immediately upon impact, four massive pillars erupted from the North, South, East, and West Oceans. These were pillars of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. They caught the Moon and hurled it back up into the sky, but not before a single crack was made in the ground. A menagerie of monsters streamed forth from the depths of Roshi. The antibodies were coming to sterilize the wound. Not only did the nightmares persist, but now the very earth itself wanted humans and their influence gone. At the center of the invasion was a single woman-like figure, no doubt the queen of this oncoming horde. With a wave of her hand, she sealed up the crack. Nobody messes with the world turtle. This is her home, and there's no other place like it. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities:She has an incredible control over fire, earth, water and air, giving her control over the weather and other more deadly acts such as meteor showers, pyroclastic eruptions, electromagnetic field altering lightning storms, sandstorms or hailstorms using microparticles textured like serrated glass, creating and detonating air-less vacuum chambers, etc. She can also summon creatures out of these elements that do her bidding. Her final ability is to connect any two locations that she can remember with portals to travel between them. Her guard dog hovers over her shoulder like Xehanort's Guardian. It blocks attacks, kills those that get too close, and keeps the Witch safe. It does not seem to be alive, or capable of suffering harm, so it's likely just a manifestation of the Witch's powers. The Witch and her Dog can fuse together to increase her physical capabilities to superhuman levels without sacrificing any of her other abilities. Fusing with her Dog or prolonged use of epic level geomancy require her to first siphon energy from Yggdrasil. Cohorts: Her summoned armies are made up of Flying Monkeys, Winkies, Kalidahs, and Poppipods. All of these creatures must spawn from their natural elements, and dissipate into that element when they die. However, once they are summoned, elemental magic and other forms of manipulation only have as much effect on them as they would any human. Magically conjured elements, or elemental substitutes such as "dragon breath" cannot be used to summon these armies Flying Monkeys are the standard storm troopers, and materialize out of gale force winds. While mostly feral, there is usually a slightly smarter commander for every group of 20. Winkies are large metal spider like creatures that leap forth from plant burning fire. They have a circular core with a single eye, and eight arms of varying shapes surrounding the core that they use to move and kill things with. Their arms can take the shape of practically any weapon, or components of more complex weapons that can then be put together. Their main use is not as fighters, but as living armories. Kalidahs are massive beasts that are spawn from solid igneous rock. They are the size of an elephant, with the head of a lion, stripes of a tiger, and body of a grizzly bear (oh my). Their skin is very resilient against magic and conventional weapons alike. They occasionally have elemental affinities, in which case they will also have breath attacks. Armored cavalry and mobile artillery versions exist, usually piloted by Flying Monkeys and armed by Winkies. They can swim and dive just as easily as they can run on land. They cannot fly under their own power, but levitation technology often aids that. Poppipods are peahat-like airbourne plant monsters that rise from calm pools of water, or cumulus clouds. They're quite like giant water balloons, except instead of water, they're filled with aerosolized alchemy. This can range from sleeping drugs, to acid, to toxic gas, to hallucinogens, to napalm, to elixirs. They fly high to disperse their payload strategically, but if killed they'll explode on the spot and send their contents everywhere. For self defense, they deploy swarms of small hornet-like seed pods that can bite and sting and can also inject whatever the Poppipod is carrying. The Witch has recently been attributed to the appearance of "Carbon Copies". These are artificial life templates of biological or magical creatures she has sufficiently analyzed. They are structurally much more fragile than the originals, due to being made purely out of magic and diamond dust, but seem to be sentient in their own right, and are able to replicate any natural feats the original could perform. Carbon copies cannot be made of anything purely mechanical, which also excludes most weapons. However, it can change its general shape at will. Weapons: Itself Bio: The Straw was created as a weapon of mass destruction in the War of Oz. It is a hive mass of magic/energy that is attracted to thought. When a host of the Straw finds a thinking being, they penetrate and consume the being's mind and posses the body turning them into a host. The host is from thereafter dead, and their body and powers are completely controlled as part of the hive and used to spread the Straw to other hosts. When a host's mind is consumed, their knowledge, memories, and experience are assimilated into the hive. The Straw is spread through physical contact between a host and another thinking being. When the Straw's host is destroyed, the energy/magic mass simply dissipates. However, the host has to be completely reduced to dust, otherwise a mangled body could still continue to house the Straw. The most efficient way of achieving this is burning the body to ashes. This is the only known way of destroying the Straw. When the Straw proved to be impossible to control, the people of Oz attempted to eradicate it by scorching the entire landmass it was unleashed upon. However, the Straw escaped. One of the hosts it had managed to possess was a mage capable of Astral Projection. This let the Straw create a host without a physical body that could destroyed, rendering at least one collective of the Straw invincible at all times. This "Mind Phantom" was dubbed The Strawman. Escaping to the Astral Plane, the Strawman peeks in and out of the mortal coil, causing epidemics of the Straw everywhere it goes. As it has no body, it cannot spread the Straw on its own. However, as a Phantom it can possess a body as other ghosts can, which claims that body as a Straw host. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities:Ability to spread the Straw through Possession, possession, intangibility to everything of this dimension, movement at the speed of thought, travel to and through the Astral Plane, the accumulation of thousands of hosts' knowledge allows subsequent hosts to demonstrate the abilities of previous hosts if they are physically capable. The Straw needs 3 seconds of unimpeded physical contact to transfer fully from host to host. If contact is broken during this time, the would-be-host would not be affected. The same time limit holds for possession. The Straw must exist completely on either the astral plane or the mortal coil. This means that while the Straw is affecting people, The Strawman must be possessing a host. If the Strawman were to leave his host, all Straw hosts would be forced out of their body and terminated. The Straw only affects the people of Oz, and cannot affect deities such as Roshi, or entities from outside of this world. Bio: Written into existence as an experimental soldier. The goal: to create the perfect stoic. It would not buckle under any attack, or be burdened with any hardship. It would execute orders perfectly, and never shy away from a kill. It would be the perfect combination of emotionless drive, and invincible armour. It worked. Well, almost. The armour was flawless. Absolutely nothing can damage its skin. It nullifies, light, sound, heat, any impact, and practically anything else that could harm it. On the inside, it felt nothing, as any robot should. It could not feel warmth, touch, pleasure, or emotion of any kind, but there was one single flaw. It could still empathize. It still had the ability to feel what others were feeling. And what was overlooked was the fact that any sentient mind has a craving to feel. The first mission it was sent on was a complete success. It brutalized everything. And when it saw the fear in it master's eyes, it empathized, and wanted more. Betrayal, anger, fear, terror, panic, pain. Lots of pain. It reveled in the strongest emphatic vibe that exists. That wince you make when you see someone hurt. That weakness in your knees when you see another suffer. It revels in others' pain. Not because it enjoys it, but because that's the only thing it knows it can feel. The Tin Soldier wanders about in dark woods and barren wastelands. If you see it, run. Because if it sees you, then it feels your fear. And it will want more. And it will pursue you until it feels your death rattle. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities:Invulnerable armour with a field that nullifies any form of energy or magic. Can also extend this field to about a foot around it. Can teleport, but not when this field is deployed. Can empathically sense when another being is looking at it, and will use that knowledge to its advantage. Innately, it is a robotic super suit filled with assorted magitek heavy weaponry. It prefers using large hacking and serrated objects that cause the most pain possible while killing something. While the invulnerability field is active, it cannot move any faster than a slow limp (think redead). While the field is inactive, it is no more durable than your average robot. The field is visible as a haze in the air around it, and can only be used continuously for two minutes, but just a half-second of relief can reset the clock. They were the best at what they did, and what they did was kill monsters. These knights fought well, and fought without fear, and brought the kingdom to prosperity. Perhaps too far into prosperity. It wasn't long until the kingdom began pressuring others for their resources. They were quite literally the best, so everyone should be supporting them. Pressure turned into violence, and soon the kingdom of the lion was worse than the monsters they had sworn to defeat. Full war broke out, and through some miracle, the kingdom was defeated by the combined forces of all the others. The army victorious took the lion kingdom's banner as a prize. Within a matter of weeks, this army was acting in exactly the same way the lion knights were before, recruiting others to their cause and entrancing their kingdom with dreams of total world subjugation. This rebellion was caught onto and quelled before too long, but then their king took up their ambitions. He was found to be wearing a ring given to him by his army that was emblazoned with the lion's symbol when they executed him for treason against himself. The ring was destroyed, but as the king's blood spilled, it stained the ground with the lion's insignia. This was cleaned away in time, but not before the media took a photograph. Soon enough, the media was leading the populace in rebellion against the government, raising high a flag emblazoned with the fearless red symbol of the lion. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities:The Lionheart is an actual entity. It is a 2 dimensional psychic parasite that slithers along surfaces, and change its form, shape, and size at will. It can appear as a birthmark, a graffiti tag, an illustration, or a carving. It is always instantly recognizable as a lion, and is always 2 dimensional (so it could not be a lion statue). If a copy is made of its form, then it can choose which copy it inhabits and which copy is merely a picture, but it can only ever inhabit a single place at once. The Lionheart has the ability to bring out the pride, power-lust, and courage of those it is in close proximity to. These effects are long lasting, but will eventually wane if the person is separated from the Lionheart for a day. This time she descends as holy light to defend her target from one attack, and then returns the favor to the attacker with a weapon chosen at random. After speaking with the man, she eventually grew to trust him enough to tell about how she is a necromancer, despite the stigma against their kind, and explained their culture. After the man grew healthy enough to be able to travel again, he gave his thanks to her and revealed himself to be Vance Garland, prince and next-in-line to the Yuleia, having been in charge of an expedition nearby that had been ambushed by some unknown assailants. He also offered Glinda to come with him, promising to keep her secret, have her feel welcome, and make her happy. Due to recent events keeping her from returning to her tribe, she accepted. Some time later, Vance ascended the throne and the two of them were happily wed. However, the new King would soon become ill and pass on. As Lana, their only child, was considered too young to claim the throne, Glinda was instead entrusted with a title she did felt unworthy to bear. Although she does her best to manage her new queendom, she continues to bear a great sorrow; both at the loss of her beloved husband, and at her insecurities as ruler.
