Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: Chaos Shift: Invokes the blood of chaos to partially transform into a Chaos Dragon. He cannot turn into a full dragon, but he can transform single parts of his body into that of a dragon, such as his arms and legs. This allows him to perform incredible feats of strength, such as jumping over long distances, picking up extremely large objects, and exponentially enhancing the strength of his already powerful physical strikes. He can also use this ability to greatly harden his skin, increasing his physical defense, like dragonscales. However, due to limitations, he can only focus on one area of his body at a time(If he transforms his legs, he can't also change his arms at the same time) Monstrous Strength: Augmented by the blood of Yormungand, Garm possesses superhuman strength. Chaos Blood: Greatly resistant to Fire and Dark element attacks, and immune to all forms of mind control or possession. Earthquake: Garm transforms his legs into a dragon's legs and leaps high into the air, then hurls Armads back down to the ground with extreme force, triggering a massive quake in the vicinity that staggers and knocks down anyone caught in the AoE. Can knock over trees and buildings. Tempest: Garm swings his twin axes around him with such force that he creates a maelstrom of raging wind, damaging all enemies around him. Range- up to twenty feet around him in all directions. Fist of the North Star: Garm transforms his right arm, channels all his strength into a single blow, then rears his mighty fist back and slams it into his opponent with enough force to topple a mountain. Creates a giant shockwave, damages surrounding terrain heavily, and has a chance to instantly kill weaker or unarmored opponents. Slow wind up. Only usable once per battle, and has a 3 day cooldown. Berserker King: The longer a battle rages, and the more wounded he is, the more crazed he becomes. If wounded, he gains an increase to strength and speed that is directly proportionate to how badly wounded he is. Slow Time: Once per battle, Garm can drastically slow the relative time of everyone except him within 300 meters. This lasts for 10 seconds. Unchained Rage: Garm sacrifices all intelligent thought to become an unstoppable killing machine for three minutes. In this state, his strength and speed is drastically increased, he is immune to all forms of stagger, knockback, and status ailments, and he takes greatly reduced physical and magic damage. However, he cannot use any other abilities during this time, strategize, or even speak. Well, besides growling. 24 hour cooldown. Heartless Angel: Garm turns his right hand into a dragon's claw and stabs himself in the chest, doing significant damage to himself but granting him temporary full control of the Chaos Blood. His skin turns a dark purple, his eyes turn a dark red, his hair turns pure white and he sprouts long black wings and black horns. He flies into the air and unleashes a devastating barrage of large black energy beams, which rain down over the area below, inflicting extreme damage on anything- or anyone- they hit for up to 10 minutes. While in this state, he is immune to all damage. However, if enough damage is done to him while he is rising into the air, the attack can be interrupted, which will leave him temporarily stunned and return him to normal. Can only be used once per battle, and has a 1 full week cooldown. Demon God's Blitz: Garm transforms his legs and charges in a straight line at incredible speed, swinging his axes around him in a deadly whirlwind, slicing anything in his path to ribbons. 1 hour cooldown. Lightning Field: Garm charges both of his axes with electricity and slams them into the ground, electrifying the ground for up to twenty yards around him for 30 seconds, zapping and briefly paralyzing everyone in the area except him. If he removes his axes from the ground, the effect ends. 1 hour cooldown. Call Lightning: Garm raises Armads into the air and calls forth a bolt from the blue, striking the opponent of his choice. Lightning Storm: Garm charges the power stored within Armads for several seconds, while dark storm clouds gather overhead, then transforms his legs and leaps high into the air, summoning a deadly thunderstorm and causing bolts of lightning to rain down below him. He then hurls Armads back towards the ground, turning it into a giant spear of lightning that damages everyone within 50 meters. Only usable once per battle, and has a 72 hour cooldown. Gigaspark: Garm raises Armads over his head and forms a giant sphere of electrical energy, which he then hurls directly in front of him. This attack is instant and has no charge time. 24 hour cooldown. Great Shield: Once per battle, when near death, nullifies one fatal attack. Cohorts: None Bio: A tragic figure known as the Dark Emperor, he is the former Emperor of Drakia, and father of Kanis Silvenhall. After having a vision of an apocalyptic future, he locked himself away and dedicated himself to finding a way to prevent it, even going so far as to neglect his beloved young daughter. He eventually discovered a ritual to summon and bind the Chaos Dragon Yormungand, and intended to use it to compel the deity to give him enough power to save the future, but needed a conduit of great power and the dark energy of countless sacrifices and untold sorrow and hate to fuel the ritual. To that end, he stole the Fire Emblem, the sacred treasure of Midgard, and orchestrated a continent-wide war. He was eventually stopped by his daughter and her husband, and slain. Or so it had seemed. It was later discovered he had been manipulated by Doctor Jeckel, one of the leaders of the organization known as the Culture. Pheonix Form: Sophie chants a small prayer to the Pheonix stone. With the power of the Pheonix stone she transforms into her ultimate form a Pheonix. While in ths form she is healed by flames or fire magic but weak to water. Sophie can either cast cast multiple fireballs (each firabll is as powerful as a Firaga spell), breath flames, flap her wings to create a powerful fire tornado, her most powerful move is: Sacred Flames of Rebirth: Sophie chanelles the powers of a pheonix and unleashs a mighty flame upon the field. The flames cause extreme damage and anybody weak to flames are outright knocked out, allies are either fully healed or if they are carded return to normal. Afterwards the stone shatters and Sophie is unable to go back into Pheonix mode. Also she is unable to move for a few days too. Name: Mystic Gender: Female Race: Shaman First Appearance: Super Mario RPG 2 Most Recent Appearance: Mushroom Kingdom Chronicles Card Character?: No Age: I have no idea. Appearance: Mystic's face and most of her body is never actually seen. She wears blue robes with gold trim that are long enough to cover her feet. They're never actually seen since she always is floating. Her hands are covered by light brown gloves and are often held in front of her in some sort of dramatic fortune telling position like she's trying to read a crystal ball. Her hat is huge and the same light brown as her gloves with a star pin on it that is gold colored. She prefers to wear the hat instead of the hood on her robe. It keeps her face hidden in darkness so that all others see are her glowing, yellow eyes. Weapons: Mystic has no weapons, but she carries a lot of food and Sleepy Sheep. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities Floating: Mystic can float around. That's pretty much it. That's all it does. Useful in dodging ground enemies. Star Shot: Mystic has a variety of Star Shots she can use between charged shots, multi shots, and piercing shots. She summons stars to hit her opponents, pretty much. Bolts: Mystic can create elemental and non elemental bolts to strike her opponents from above. Her favorites are electrical bolt and neutral bolt though. Psyshield: Mystic can create Psyshields to block both physical attacks and reflect ranged attacks back at the attack. They're rainbow colored shields that just bounce attacks back for the most part. Apparently they're effective. Sidestep: She can just sidestep most attacks. Bullets, charging enemies, falling blocks, Torm's insults, etc. She can't use this to dodge attacks with wide range like bombs or breath attacks. Fortunes: Mystic can see the future. Giant: Mystic becomes gigantic in moments of emergency and has unlimited use of her magic abilities. She can also summon sheep meteors in this mode. Bio: Mystic tends to get in a lot of trouble. She is a fortune teller and works in Toad Town. Her grandfather, Merlon is training her, but so far she just sucks. Not with the magic, but with the costumers. She always gets in trouble somehow because people don't pay for her fortunes. Personality: She'll pretty much do anything to accomplish her goals. One time she followed a Boo into an alternate dimension because he wouldn't pay her and had to go fight a dragon to get her money and way home back. It's a long story. Then there was this time Bowser visited. She zapped him and stole his money. Basically, she gets in trouble a lot. She's also a generally nice person though. Beneath the bad puns and rudeness, she's just trying to become a mage and live up to her family name. Dino & Frey I also made this because why not? I don't think I want to post them in sign ups though. I was just sitting there and thinking about what it would be like if my other characters were in Oz. It's just for fun for the most part and to satisfy my need to sign them up without actually doing it. Dino can be seen behind her, in the middle of throwing his Dino Medal forward as it glows. Weapons Shortsword: Frey’s basic Shortswords. She has two of them and mostly just sets them aside for just in case. Her Aqua Blade is her main weapon. There’s nothing really special about the swords. Aqua Blade: Frey’s main weapon of choice. A single handed sword that is blue with a few gems adorning it. It has a wave-like design and emits a magical energy. The Aqua Blade will add a water element to all of Frey’s physical attacks. Brush: Frey’s brush. It isn’t very useful in combat. Well, actually it is. She can use the brush to tame monsters, but it takes a few tries and she’s also vulnerable to attack while it happens, so she needs someone to protect her. Shears: They shear things...like sheep. Watering Can: Frey’s watering can is pretty simple. It helps her grow plants quickly. It also can be used to deal some water damage, but it’s fairly minimal damage at the most. Axe: Frey’s wood cutting axe. She uses it to cut down trees and to turn wood into lumber she can use to build things. Hammer: Frey’s hammer. She uses it to smash apart rocks and stone so she can use it as materials for building. She can also find some gems this way. Hoe: Frey’s hoe. She uses it to till soil so she can grow crops. Pickaxe: Dino’s pickaxe he uses for digging up fossils. He’s not that great at close combat, so it’s only used in those cases in emergencies. Drill: Dino’s drill he uses for digging up fossils. This actually has been proven to be rather useful at times in combat, surprisingly. Hammer: Dino’s hammer he uses for digging up fossils. For some reason this one has not been effective in battle either. Fossil Reader: A mechanical device that detects nearby fossils and gems. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities Fireball: Frey can shoot explosive fireballs from her hands using the fireball spell. Wave Slash: Frey can shoot energy waves from her weapon by swinging it through the air. (Can be used with any weapon.) Hurricane: Frey can rapidly spin her weapon to damage an opponent multiple times at a close range. (Can be used with any weapon.) Dash Slash: Frey quickly dashes through an opponent, suddenly appearing on the other side with her weapon out while dealing a lot of damage to the opponent. This attack is very tiring, however. If Frey uses it too much she passes out. (Can be used with any weapon.) Incredible Strength: Frey has a lot of physical strength. She once raised a barn all by herself and her endurance when taking damage is pretty good too. Her magic abilities are lacking a little though. They’re decent, but she’s no master mage and if she overexerts herself, she will collapse from exhaustion. Amazing Cooking: Frey can create all kinds of delicious dishes that when eaten will heal the consumer and give them boosts to their strength. Earthmate: Frey is very skilled in growing crops and has a lot of knowledge on the subject. Apparently she can grow almost any plant as she once grew a bunch of Deku Babas to harvest the Deku Nuts. Fossil Revival: Dino can revive fossils he finds in the ground and turn them into dinosaurs he adds to his team to battle enemies with. Shared Soul: Frey and Dino’s souls are linked, so if one of them somehow dies, the other one immediately dies as well. This makes it so they have to be careful and guard each other. Cohorts (if applicable) Mimey: Frey’s Mime Jr. that she picked up along the way through the Pokemon world. Her Mime Jr. isn’t trained all that well yet, so it sticks to the basics. Mimey creates invisible barriers and often uses its psychic abilities to smash these barriers into enemies. It can also use its psychic powers to control small objects telekinetically and to shoot psychic energy beams. Fuzzy: Frey’s Mankey that she picked up along the way through the Pokemon world. Mankey is not fully trained yet and at times can be difficult to control. It uses Focus Energy to get pumped up in battle and land harder hits. It also uses Low Kick to take advantage of heavy enemies and use their weight against them while using Karate Chop to dish out some nice damage. Mankey also has an issue where if it gets angry or if an opponent stares it in the eyes, it loses control and just attacks them repetitively with no real strategy in mind and it won’t listen to Frey. Euro: It’s like a brontosaurus, but I forget the actual name. It’s one of the big, long necked dinosaurs. Euro is huge and very strong. It can use its strong feet to stomp on enemies and use its tail to smash enemies as well. Euro is also capable of causing earthquakes and knocking enemies off balance. It’s focus is on defense for the most part. It is very slow and has decent offensive power. Kea: An ancient ancestor of the Keese enemy from Legend of Zelda. It is a gigantic bat that seems similar to a pterodactyl. Kea can tackle enemies from the air to damage them. It can also absorb fire or ice to damage enemies extra with its tackles all while not hurting itself. Kea mostly uses its wind abilities, however. Kea can create powerful gusts of wind to knock back enemies, create razor winds that cut enemies and damage them, and can create a hurricane to blow all enemies away and scramble them around. Kea’s focus is speed. It’s attack is decent, but it has poor defense and will be taken down in a few attacks. Dilopho: A poisonous and small, frilled dinosaur that can spit out poison. Dilopho can use its sharp teeth to dig into opponents and cause some serious damage and it can combo this into a kick to jump backward after. Dilopho can also shoot arrows of water from its mouth that poison enemies when they are hit. It is very fast and does some decent damage, but is taken down quickly. Ghosta: Some strange, amorphous ghost dinosaur that was revived at Luigi’s Mansion. It looks similar to a Boo if it were wearing a sheet and was shaped vaguely dinosaur-like. Ghosta is incredibly bad at dealing damage and will practically die in one attack normally. It is, however incredibly fast and can not only go invisible, but move through walls as well. Ghosta can manipulate opponents to make them see fear illusions as well. It’s most useful ability, however, is to copy its opponent. It will become an exact copy of its opponent, but look like a ghost version of them as if they were dead and became a ghost. This leads to Ghosta losing its abilities in causing fear and phasing through walls along with turning invisible. Bio: Frey is a princess from the land of Selphia. She joined the Cemetary Gates crew to gain money for her kingdom which was facing an economic crisis. Dino was just a fossil hunter, looking to study the ancient history of other worlds and looking to find some cool treasures. Seeing their goals to be similar, Dino and Frey decided to work together. Over time, they got involved in all kinds of crazy madness. They went to the Pokemon world and had to fight for Frey’s virginity, got caught up in a war in the land of Hyruje, went to a Halloween party at Luigi’s Mansion, and even died once. Luckily, once Dino died, at that point Frey and Dino actually fell in love. She made a pact with The Other Side to revive Dino, but they shared a soul and Dino was made of solid gold. Over time, Frey started to feel drained and turned pale with dark circles under her eyes. They eventually had to fight for their old bodies back, finding that their old ones were stolen. They got them back and decided to retire from adventuring, working on a farm together with their animals with their souls bound by something even stronger than magic, but rather love. TLDR: Love Story Personality: Frey is a pretty polite girl and tries her best to make it so that nobody has to die, but most of the time that just seems to end in a lot more blood spilling. She’s generally kind, helping out most that ask her to. She can be slightly rash at times though, going into situations without the full story and helping an entire nation plummet into a state of civil war. Dino is typically quieter, not talking much unless it’s necessary. When he sees fossils or ancient things, he completely nerds out though. Most of the time he’s fairly calm and analyzes situations carefully, pulling Frey back and trying to give her his input before she runs off and does something stupid. Sadly, even though he’s very smart, Dino has been outwitted by Meta Knight and Yuga before and they could not stop the assassination of Princess Zelda. Likes: Frey likes food, gardening, cooking, animals, crafting things, helping people, Dino, and learning various combat techniques. Dino likes fossils, dinosaurs, anything ancient, history, biology, Frey, and challenging people to battles with his dinosaurs. Dislikes: Frey dislikes Failed Dishes, assassins, poorly crafted weapons, generally evil people, not having money, and anyone who would harm Dino. Card Description (if applicable): See above image for details. Weapons Frost Summon Orb: Purple owns a strange orb that was given to him by a legendary Pokemon when he saved it from dying. The orb allows him to summon it for one powerful attack before it disappears and the orb loses power for a few days. The legendary Pokemon was an ice type Xerneas. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities Strategist: Purple is very skilled in strategizing and commanding his Pokemon to the point where he can even command all six at once. His strategies helped him to beat the Pokemon World Championships, defeating master Pokemon Trainers from across multiple dimensions. Convincing Disguise: Purple had to crossdress to enter a Pokemon gym this one time. It was pretty interesting. Apparently he made such a convincing girl that they let him in though. He had a wig, and his nails were done, and there was a dress and everything. He even sounded like a girl. You could hardly tell it was him. Cohorts (if applicable) Squirtle: Purple’s Squirtle has been with him since he started his journey. It has access to all kinds of powerful water type attacks like Hydro Pump and Surf. It can also use heavy defensive skills like Withdraw and Iron Defense. Squirtle also knows physical offensive skills such as Tackle and Skull Bash. Basically, Squirtle learned practically every move a Squirtle can know asides from a few TMs here and there. Squirtle is fast, powerful, and speedy. An all around powerful Pokemon that has been well trained and stays loyal to Purple. Ivysaur: Purple’s saboteur type Pokemon. Ivysaur is often used to inflict status ailments and to weaken enemies. It uses moves like Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore. It does know grass type attacks like Vine Whip and Razor Leaf as well though. Ivysaur has been well trained as well and has also been with Purple since the start of his journey. Ivysaur has also been known to combine its attacks to create poisonous Razor Leaves or to have sleep inducing Leech Seeds. Charizard: Purple’s Charizard is one of the Pokemon he is closest to. He and Charizard have spent multiple days training together and have been together since the start of Purple’s journey. Charizard is both fast and strong, dealing serious damage with moves like Dragon Claw and Wing Attack. It can also use the powerful Flamethrower move as well. Charizard is also capable of flying high in the air and is often used for travel along with Skarmory. Charizard can also Mega Evolve using his Charizardite X. When Charizard mega evolves into Mega Charizard X He gains serious boosts in his damage. Not only that, but his flames get so hot they turn blue. Charizard’s last resort and strongest move is his Flare Blitz, dealing a huge amount of damage at the cost of being damaged himself. Carbink: Purple’s Carbink was met out in the wild and instead of being caught through battle, Purple somehow managed to catch it with the power of soft drinks and love. Carbink is his loyal knight and guardian. Carbink focuses mainly on defense, but can unleash some serious blows with Moonblast and Power Gem when it needs to. She usually stays calm and very serious. Porygon: Purple’s Porygon is actually a Porygon 2, but he just calls it Porygon for simplicity. Porygon was created in a mysterious lab and hatched from a digi egg by Purple. Porygon was actually made from some illegal genetic experimentation, but that’s a secret. Porygon 2 learns a wide variety of abilities, being able to raise stats and attack in multiple ways. It can even change its typing and other Pokemon’s special abilities. Most of its attacks come in the form of electricity or different types of beams. It also knows Hex for some reason. Skarmory: One of Purple’s powerful Pokemon that he caught out in the wild. It was surprisingly strong right from when he caught it and Skarmory uses its sharp wings to cut through opponents while being protected from its heavy armor. Skarmory not only has reliable offense and defense, but can set traps and scatter the field in spikes. Bio: Purple is a Pokemon Trainer born from two other great trainers. He set off on his Pokemon adventure and quickly came upon the World Tournament. Ever since he heard of it, he started training for it with his partner, Joker. Joker was also a monster tamer, but a different kind. He often fused his monsters together and created new creatures. He was also responsible for a few deaths, stolen money, and other stuff, but that’s fine because none of those were in Ethos so it didn’t really matter. That is until some STUPID Black Lantern decided to behead him! After that day, Purple spent a few days sulking. His close friend was dead right in front of his eyes and there was nothing he could have done to stop it. Then he finally stood up when his Pokemon cheered him on. Purple was going to train and become stronger. He was going to win the Pokemon World Tournament and after that, he was going to take down those Black Lanterns! And so that’s exactly what he did. Now he’s the champion and Pokemon Master. Personality: Purple doesn’t have too much in terms of a defining personality. He loves Pokemon and is generally a nice guy. He was always against Joker’s ways of stealing and such and used to scold him for it. He helped to catch a few criminals or so as well. He really has matured a lot since the start of his journey as well. They are more effective than her normal claws and are effective in cutting through enemies. They increase her damage by a lot. Lucky Bell: Kitty wears a lucky bell she got as a gift. It is one of her precious Shinies and when she is in serious danger, it has a chance to activate and make attacks conveniently miss in some ridiculous manner. Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities Cat: Kitty has all the natural skills and abilities of an everyday cat. Brave/Default: Kitty can gather up Brave Points by defaulting and then unleash a barrage of multiple attacks all at once. She can also use this without storing points, but then she is unable to move for an amount of time. Thief: Kitty has access to the Thief class and all the skills that come with it. She can move extremely fast with it and steal items. Explorer: Kitty has access to the Explorer class. She can use this class to safely explore any terrain without negative or harmful effects. This also allows her to detect traps and deactivate them. White Mage: Kitty has access to the White Mage class and all the skills with it. She can use powerful healing spells and spells that create physical/magical barriers to protect allies. (I am not allowing her to use spells like Raise as I doubt it’s allowed just to resurrect anyone who dies.) Cryomancer: Kitty has access to all the abilities of Elsa from Frozen. She can also use Fire, Thunder, and Blizzard. Drunk: Kitty has access to the Drunk class. She can consume anything without any negative effects in this state. Fencer: Kitty has access to the Fencer class and all the skills that come with it. Merchant: Kitty has access to the Merchant class and all the skills that come with it. Thunder Blast: Kitty’s special ability that can only be used once per battle. She gathers up a bunch of electrical energy in her paws before launching it forward in a giant electrical explosion. Bravely Second: An ability Kitty can only use once a day. She can temporarily freeze time for a few minutes and unleash a barrage of attacks. This skill can also be used to block out other time freezing abilities. Cohorts (if applicable) Gusty: Kitty’s pet Gusty she found on an island in the Mushroom Kingdom. It doesn’t have too much of a use other than being Kitty’s mount. She used it to race in kart races and skipped large sections by flying over them. She somehow became friends with it when she tried to eat it... Bio: Kitty is an everyday normal cat. There’s nothing really special about her. That was until one day she was taken in by Ringabel as his pet cat. Since she joined him, his abilities were shared with her and she gained access to Ringabel’s classes and brave abilities. Every powerful enemy they defeated, Kitty was able to copy the class of and use their abilities. Kitty has done a wide variety of things. She went time traveling to restore order to the land of Hyruje and has had an audience with Sheogorath, or as some call him, Bugs Bunny without dying. She worked with Ringabel as a mercenary for the Cemetery Gates crew and eventually they retired in the Mushroom Kingdom, playing all kinds of sports with Princess Peach. She was simply an everyday cat that loved Shinies, however. Personality: Kitty lives a fairly simple life. She just likes to sleep all the time and eat food. While she’s incredibly lazy and could care less about battle half of the time, if there’s food or Shinies involved, she will do absolutely anything for it. Kanis Silvenhall Name: Kanis Silvenhall Gender: Female Race: Half Phoenix/Half human RP/CYOA of origin: UB Card Character? All of her sword attacks deal Fire and Ice based elemental damage. She's also proficient with a Bow. In Phoenix Form, her fiery laser breath and sharp talons are her weapons. Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: Phoenix Blood: Immune to Fire based damage. In Phoenix Form, fire based attacks also heal her for the same amount of damage they would have inflicted. Phoenix Shift: Kanis shifts into her true form. Regeneration: In Phoenix Form, Kanis passively regenerates a large amount of health every few minutes. In human form, she regenerates a slight amount of health every minute. When in rage mode, the amount she heals is increased. Eternal Flame: Kanis's concentrated breath of holy flame, only usable in Phoenix form. Deals Fire and Light based damage. Judgment: Kanis flies high into the sky and rains down countless beams of holy fire around an area. Only usable in Phoenix form, only usable once per significant battle, and has a 3 day cooldown. Medium-Large AoE. Flame Charge: Kanis cloaks herself in raging flames and tackles her opponent at blinding speed. Only usable in Phoenix form. Due to her size, this move is really only viable against larger targets. Divebomb: Kanis grabs her opponent in her talons, flies up, and dives back towards the ground, hurling her opponent into the ground and pulling up sharply at the last second. Only usable in Phoenix form. Indignation: Only usable in Phoenix form. Forcibly reverts her to human form after use, and temporarily knocks her unconscious. Only used as a last resort. 1 week cooldown. Kanis calls upon the true power of her parents and flies high into the air, charging all of her power into a single enormous beam. The attack takes several minutes to charge, and if enough damage is done to her while charging, the stored power will backfire and automatically revert her to a card. If the attack is charged successfully, she fires a beam of holy fire down at the world below. Once the beam reaches a certain point above ground it creates a massive dome of energy surrounding the Area of Effect, dealing extreme lightning, fire, and holy based damage to any caught inside the come. The AoE is a 100 foot diameter. Basically, it's her version of Sephiroth's Heartless Angel. Blinding Speed: In human form, she is extremely fast and agile, but most of her attacks lack the devastating power of her Phoenix form. Imperial Rage: Once per hour, as long as she isn't severely wounded, Kanis can enter a state of battle rage that significantly increases her speed, strength, and regeneration, but also increases the damage she takes. This effect lasts for a few minutes, and she can cancel it at any time. Dance of Ice and Fire: In human form, Kanis dashes forward in a zigzag pattern for up to 20 feet, making a flurry of lightning quick slashes with her twin blades against anything and anyone in her way. When in Rage Mode, she adds another attack at the end of the combo: She leaps into the air and quickly throws her blades into the ground, creating a 15 foot explosion of fire and ice centered around a single target. Low power, fast execution. Blade Dancer: Kanis spins her twin swords around her several times in a deadly arc, creating a shockwave that sends surrounding enemies flying backwards, then dashes forward, leaving a trail of fire in her wake. Lightning Thrust: A blindingly fast strike to a single opponent using both pommels of her swords, meant to stun and incapacitate her opponent rather than kill. Dance of the Fire Princess: A fast combo of kicks and slashes, using only her fire sword, that creates circles of flame around her. Low power, fast execution. In Rage Mode, the circles of flame are larger, and deal more damage if they hit. Frozen Winter: Kanis thrusts her blade of ice into the ground, temporarily freezing the ground solid for up to 20 feet around her. This effect only lasts a few seconds. In Rage Mode, large spears of ice also shoot up from the ground. Storm of Ice and Fire: Kanis dashes forward with blinding speed, then leaps up into the air and hurls her twin swords down at the ground, causing a rain of ice shards and fireballs. True Musou: Only usable once per significant battle, and only in Rage Mode. Using this ability ends Rage Mode immediately after the attack finishes, and leaves Kanis in a vulnerable state for a few seconds. Kanis unleashes a devastating dance of 13 slashes against any target within 20 feet, moving from target to target, then unleashes massive twin shockwaves of fire and ice energy that travel up to 50 feet directly in front of her. Each swing from her sword in this state causes a miniature shockwave and tremors. 3 day cooldown. Fire Trail: Kanis dashes in one direction at extreme speed, leaving a path of fire in her wake. Hard to change direction during the dash, and is only used to cover large distances very quickly. Ice Trail: Same as above, but she leaves a trail of frozen ground and icicles in her wake that linger for a time, making movement on the affected patches of ground difficult. Blazing Storm: Kanis launches into a frantic dance, spinning on her heels, with her swords pointed in the air, creating a tornado of flame around her that lasts for ten seconds. In Rage Mode, the tornado is larger and lasts longer. Final Heaven: Kanis stuns her opponent with a series of fierce kicks, then slams her swords into the ground and channels a huge amount of holy flames into her hand. She then delivers a titanic uppercut to her opponent's gut or jaw, lifting them high into the air. So, basically, SHOOOOR-YUUUUUKEN! 1 day cooldown. Twin Shockwaves: Kanis unleashes two large shockwaves of elemental energy in quick succession. Cohorts: None Bio: The legendary Phoenix Empress of Drakia , and the wife of Trail, the Dragon Emperor. Before her ascension to the throne, she was at the heart of the events that lead up to the Drakia-Midgard War, as well as the war itself. She later became one of the chosen heroes in the War of Extinction, and she personally lead Drakia's army during the Northern Invasion while her husband was missing. As a veteran of three wars, she is brilliant leader and capable strategist, and a renowned warrior. She has known tragedy and love, and everything in between, and she is an experienced politician and both a mother and stepmother. In his career, Slimex notably stole Conquest's, one of the four horsemen, identity by stealing his armor, assassinated the Vampire Queen to steal the Death Mark (lets Slimex see and talk with spirits) and caused the extinction of a race. Slimex must have taken one portal too many, as he found himself separated from his team, endng up in the world of Oz. While he is evil, Slimex will work with whoever will help him find his way back to his homeworld. *Personality: Slimex hates everything. Ephesus Background: The land of Ephesus is divided into nine "Levels" of decrementing landmass and population size:
Lower class class: - The Farmland: simple farming communities full of farmers and peasants - The Township: villages dotted throughout the land for the sale of product - The Castles: centralizing castles coordinate the farms and towns for resource collection and management.
Middle class: - The Wall: The communities around the Great wall, who patrol and communicate directly with Erebus. - The Military: Soliders, mages, tacticians, and those who deal in war - The Towers: Priviledged citizens that work in the comfort of the capitol Erebus.
Top class: - The Elite: the wealthiest autocrats who deploy their great resources to the Citadel. - The Clergy: Those who propagate the will of the Holy Emperor and the Green Dragon. More of an Academy. Interchangable with "Archmage". - The Holy Citadel: Royalty. The Holy Emperor and his attendants.
Erebus, the capitol city, is encircled by the Great Wall, which is not only a towering physical structure, but an isolating forcefield that stretches into space.
All residents reside strictly within their level, and work in jobs as assigned to that level. They monotheistically worship the Green Dragon as a way of life. They believe that the Green Dragon rewards those who stay devout and work hard, and when they die they will be reincarnated in a higher level, until they reach the Holy Citadel and are granted immortal life. The lower classes are largely a peaceful people and are blisfully ignorant of the outside world. The middle class and higher know about the outside, and believe it must be defended against and purged, as per the will of the Green Dragon.
The Green Dragon has four Aspects that manifest its divine powers. These are the Red Phoenix, the Blue Serpent, the Black Tortoise, and the White Tiger. These Aspects claim Avatars in the real world in times of need, and act as the Holy Emperor's arms with which to influence the world.
Grievous, The Holy Emperor *Gender: Male *Race: Avatar of the Green Dragon *RP/CYOA of origin: Oz *Age: "Eternal"
*Appearance: Above average height and build for a 50-year old. "Wisened", with shoulder length greying black hair tied back, trimmed facial hair and beard. Wears a golden armored robe decorated with emerald dragons.
*Weapons: The Emperor does not arm himself.
*Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Does not age, does not fall sick, and does not receive injury. Can phase himself and other objects through other objects and all forms of energy. There does not seem to be a limitation to this ability.
*Bio: On the blessed day, the Green Dragon descended upon Roshi's shell and graced Oz with true divinity. The Holy Emperor was the first human to meet the Green Dragon, and he was transformed. He was granted with divine immortality and ascended from his human body. His purpose is to shelter a utopia on Oz, and lead the chosen to their ultimate salvation.
*Personality: Devout prophet of the Green Dragon. Controlling, measured, but honest in his manipulations. All is only as the Green Dragon commands.
Archbishop Esdeath *Gender: Female *Race: Human *RP/CYOA of origin: Oz *Age: 26
*Appearance: Shoulder-length bobbed red hair and pale skin. Typically dresses in white cleric robes, unremarkable next to others. In battle she sheds the robes and wears a two-piece bodysuit that exposes her skin. It's a good distraction and most things cannot harm her, but she creates ice armor when she needs the defence.
*Weapons: Makes whatever she feels like out of ice, but carries twine and powder in case she needs to make a bow or a gun.
*Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Avatar of the Black Tortoise. Power over water, ice, and cold. She can materialize and freeze water in the air, and control water-bearing organisms like puppets. Her body is hard as ice and nearly invulnerable, and anything that she touches freezes unless she uses her powers to keep it defrosted.
*Bio: Born in the Towers, daughter of a concubine and a concubine herself. She was one of many women tasked with carrying forward the lineage of the Green Dragon. It was soon found though that she was infertile, leaving her unable to perform her divine purpose. And due to this failure, it is not only her who would be punished, but all of her future incarnations who would be penalized due to her body's failure. Devout her whole life, she wondered why she was forsaken to this fate. Unable to reconcile her faith with her lack of a future, she contemplated suicide, but the Emperor intervened, and brought her to the Clergy where she would begin training to become a priestess. Magic was a natural fit for her, but an increase in societal level like this was unheard of, and she faced much discrimination due to her new position. The Clergy passively dissuaded her from her education, but she never budged. At her graduation trial she was vindicated. She was chosen by the Aspect of the Black Tortoise to be its Avatar, and now she leads the Clergy as its Archbishop, the strongest mage in Ephesus's history.
*Personality: Despite her powers, not chilly in the slightest. She is competitive, hardheaded, and precocious. Talks like she has something to prove, and continually strives to push beyond what people see as "her place". Absolutely loyal to the Emperor, and all she does is for the Green Dragon.
Doctor Petrine *Gender: Female *Race: Human *RP/CYOA of origin: Oz *Age: 29
*Appearance: Short and petite for her age. Black hair that reaches the small of her back, and light skin. Often conceals her face with a red cloak and hood, beneath which she wears golden robes from the Holy Citadel. In battle she wears a face-concealing helmet and light form-fitting armor.
*Weapons: A number of swords and knives that she empowers with her lasers. Prefers weapons that allow her to get close to her adversary, so that she can read them.
*Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Avatar of the Red Phoenix. Power over light, heat, and flames. Her flames have the power to heal wounds and restore life. She can create fire that is cool to the touch, and in any colour including those outside the range of biological vision. She is an empath, and unwillingly takes on the emotions of others she sees around her. She can also force emotions onto others with a touch.
*Bio: Born into the Holy Citadel, she is very likely a daughter of the Holy Emperor himself. She was raised to be a princess, and studied the teachings of the Green Dragon fanatically. At first ignorant of the outside world, when she learned how devastated Oz truly was, she immediately questioned the green Dragon could allow this suffering. For the first time, she felt like she needed power, but she couldn't have it. She prayed to find an answer, and soon the Emperor allowed her join classes in the Clergy, to learn magic. She was quickly shocked by the concept of "hard work", requiring lots of it to learn even the slightest bit of magic. She was not a natural, and had little innate magical power. Feeling more powerless every day, she prayed even harder, studying history for invocation rituals long since abandoned for their impracticality. But she opted for them regardless. Unwilling to give up, and unwilling to accept that she could not further serve the Green Dragon, she attempted a ritual far beyond her knowledge level, and it blew up in her face, causing destruction on a level never seen before in Erebus. However, she escaped unscathed, as during this ritual the Aspect of the Red Phoenix chose her as its Avatar. She used her new power to save the lives of everyone the ritual had injured, and she revelled in her new ability. Swearing fealty to the Emperor to guide her, she took on an archaic title of "Doctor" and continues to serve as Ephesus's greatest healer.
*Personality: More of a watcher than a talker. Would sooner investigate a person than befriend them. Perfectionistic but sensitive and doesn't respond to criticism well. Reveres the Green Dragon the most out of all the Avatars and does not tolerate any betrayal of belief. Absolutely loyal to the Emperor, and all she does is for the Green Dragon.
General Mason *Gender: Male *Race: Human *RP/CYOA of origin: Oz *Age: 34
*Appearance: Large, imposing, and very built. Dark skin that hides its earthen texture. Usually wears standard the Ephesian army garb of heavy black armor unhindered.
*Weapons: Anything he can get his hands on. Carries the Devil Arm Scythe: Lilith's Spine. The scythe feeds on life energy to grow in size, but can be swung just as easily regardless of what that size is. Will drain life out of any who are struck with it and returns that life to the wielder.
*Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Avatar of the White Tiger. Power over gravity and magnetism. His flesh cannot feel pain or pleasure, or much sensation at all. His skin is hard as stone and his skeleton is made of an unknown indestructible metal. Is currently on life four of nine.
*Bio: Born into the Military class, and bred in battle. He fought with the harshest grit and without a sliver of mercy. He fought for the Green Dragon above all, and this was well known throughout the ranks. As his promotion to general approached, his superiors placed him on a mission against a much stronger Yuleian force. It was effectively suicide, but he did not waver. He followed his orders and fought the Los Angelos until his dying breath. Or so they thought. He was dealt a killing blow, but after the dust cleared, Mason was still alive. He claimed that the Aspect of the White Tiger had given him a second life, as his duty to the Green Dragon was not yet fulfilled. While normally this would be heresy punishable by death, the Emperor intervened. To test this claim, he gave Mason another mission: to collect Lilith's Spine, a Devil Arm that drains life from its weilder. Mason accepted this quest, braved the dungeons that held it, unearthed the Devil Arm from its tomb, and when he laid hands on his prize, it latched onto his life and killed him dead. Or not. He awoke again. And he returned to the Holy Citadel with Lilith's Spine in tow. As he held it aloft for all to see, he was chosen by the Aspect of the White Tiger to be its Avatar. Despite his ascendancy, he chose to remain in the Military as a symbol, and as the grand General of the Ephesian army.
*Personality: Quiet, disciplined, but arrogant. He sees any man or woman as either someone he could beat, or someone he could beat one day. Prefers to keep to himself to avoid giving himself away to others. Find better companionship with animals than people and will not condone their abuse. Absolutely loyal to the Emperor, and all he does is for the Green Dragon.
The Galahad *Gender: Male *Race: Human *RP/CYOA of origin: Oz *Age: 22
*Appearance: Lean build, medium skin, white electric hair. Dresses in light form-fitting armor for battle, but ripped jeans and a tank top otherwise. Wears reflective goggles and a snapback cap with the symbol of the Green Draogn on it.
*Weapons: The Lance of The Galahad. It's a big lightning rod that he can turn into an electric guitar, from which he shoots more lightning at his enemies. Or he could use it like a lance.
*Notable Traits, Powers and Abilities: Avatar of the Blue Serpent. Power over wind, storms, and lightning. Has a perfect measure of time, and it passes more slowly for him than normal people, allowing him superhuman reflexes and movement speed. Can play practically any musical instrument with expertise. His hair was been replaced by lightning strands, and his eyes shoot lightning uncontrollably, so he must cover himself most of the time.
*Bio: Popular musician and cultural icon born in the Elite sector. Although mainly focusing on his personal life in his music, the Emperor took notice of his talent and requested that he join with him to spread the voice of the Green Dragon. The Galahad was slowly taken in by the Holy Citadel, who had hands on his brand, his message, and his look, and while he accepted the will of the Green Dragon, the intrusion into his freedom caused him to question his faith. After a particularly nasty Yuleian victory over Ephesus, a memorial was held and The Galahad was to perform. He requested and was allowed to play anything he like, and given this freedom, he rocked the nation. As the concert ended, he was chosen by the Aspect of the Blue Serpent to become its Avatar. The Emperor has since directed and instructed him on how to use his new supernatural powers for the good of Ephesus.
*Personality: Aloof and free, but also scatterbrained and unfocused. Doesn't mind being pointed in a direction, as long as he gets to decide what happens after that. Doesn't usually connect with people who aren't himself. Makes everyone call him "The" Galahad. Absolutely loyal to the Emperor, and all he does is for the Green Dragon.
