Powers that are up for grabs: Light bending (simple, so no complex visual illusions) and hardening, acid, wind manipulation, cold, fire, electromagnetism, dimensional shifting (teleporting, temporary pseudo-inviulnerability, slight molecular disruption), sickness, sound, dark matter/antimatter, time manipulation (no unmaking someone, can speed or slow things down, reverse personal time [this might end up being a very soft or hard science fiction power depending on the player, so HHD you might want to take this]), gravity manipulation, hallucinations (using specialized hallucinogens secreted by the subject, may be softcore), and kinetics (converting other forms of energy into kinetic energy, allowing for enhanced physical capabilities).

This isn't magic, and thus it provides less control. They aren't all tht powerful, with their power level being a bit above say, Master Chief in terms of actual power. The electromagnetic one couldn't destroy a large ship easily, but a small fighter jet would be fairly easy. Have a character be balance in terms of physical ability, skill, and power strength. A powerful Mage-like LOTUS wouldn't be the best in physical combat and be pretty flimsy. Things like wind aren't control over wind, but more like the ability to manipulate air flow using specialized motors, blades, and other tech. This isn't quite hard science fiction, but it isn't soft. Not everything has an explanation in order to make it more open, but no Deus Ex Machina or random happenstance. Some things are separate and treated differently for balance and thematic purposes, such as heat an cold being separate. These can be treated as fire and ice too. Anyways, I think you get the point.

Yes, but the tech in and of itself is sort of organic. It's kind of weird. The scientists who discovered the tech concluded that it was designed to be attached to organisms, based off of its semi-organic structure and the way it interacts with it's subject's nervous system. The technology is sort of alive, which is why several subjects went insane. Later versions underwent psychological treatment and some formed bonds with their enhancements, either accepting the "mind" as their own or as a separate entity. One could have an actual AI within their enhancements to sort of give it form and reduce stress. This wasn't enacted until later versions. Anyways, there are a few powers I left off for story reasons and another that I'm using as the one for my character. HHD, I'd be willing to give control of this to you since you'd probably be more suited to it if you wanted to.

Seeing as my Star Wars one is biting dust, I might can make a new RP. I just need an idea. Normally with my busy schedule I wouldn't do it, but...

I like that idea Golurk, but in aiming for a divided country sort of thing. I don't know the concept the eastern countries medieval times besides Samurai. And I'm trying to make it fantasy too.

Wait, you're planning a DW RP? Using OCs as PCs or actual people?

The RP will feature actual people, and will be closer to actual history, than the games.
