So, I'm creating this topic for general discussion on everything. This is the official 'no such thing as off topic' topic. Now, I can say whatever I please without breaking my own rules! Chi-yaaaa!!!! *Ahem* If you watch the anime HunterxHunter(2011) but you have not reached episode 135+, do not read the forthcoming spoiler link. Unless, of course, you actually want spoilers. Alluka is the most terrifying thing ever created. I would s*** myself and beg for my mama just at the mere sight of it. I now have a new goal in life. I will create a character even more terrifying than the Dread Child itself. You all now have something to look forward to in future CYOAs of mine. ;-)

Psh, I'll create something far more darker than that. A creature born of both light and shadow, it drank deep of its isolation, pain, bloodlust. It evolved and became more than a god. It steeped itself in the worlds core and nearly transcended reality. His name...unspoken.

This is for everything right? Let us discuss yellow.

Ok king lets continue. The time line I've reasoned is Fe 9+10 ancient past, the scouring sited in Fe 6+7 which triggers the ending winter, ending winter effects whole planet robs dragons of their ability to maintain dragon form without degeneration (the dragon effects of the ending winter are cannon, and I believe that it is the source of the unspecified degeneration of the archenae dragons), then Fe 4+5, then Fe 6+7, then Fe 1,2,3, then fast forward a couple thousand years to awakening. I think neo stated his cyoa is set before 9,10. Which by extension would put it before gaiden. I operate under the theory that all FE games have taken place on the same world. ( I don't know where to place 8 though.)

No, what I listed to you comes explicitly from IS themselves. All the other games operate in a different world. Elibe does not match up at all with FE1's lore about the Manaketes. Awakening is just one big call back to previous games. Nothing except the list I said is connected.
The only two exceptions are 6 and 7, and 9 and10 which take place in the same world. Elibe and Tellius respectively.

When did IS confirm a time line? And neo stated in the discussion topic that his story is pre Fe 9-10, for clarification. And what do you mean the Elibe and Archenae lores don't mesh; elibe has a phenomena caused by the legendary weapons clashing with war dragons changing the laws of nature making so dragons had to seal there power in dragon stones, while archenae has an identical phenomenon that has no concrete cause. The two fit together perfectly.

Because, Kaga(original creator) wrote it in his notes about FE4. Another reason Elibe and Akaneia don't mesh is because they take place in two different worlds. Lycia does not exist on either continent. In none of the games, including awakening, does it mention anything about an Elibe. Only Valm is confirmed to be Valentia from FE2

Yah but awakening had other continents, we just could reach them. A planet is a big place, moreover places change names over the course of history awakening is a clear example of this. And even if elibe isn't on the same planet, and thats a big if, the similarities between the ending winter and the mysterious degradation of the dragons in acanea, are too great to pass as mere coincidence.

There is no big if. They are not in the same planet. Period.
It did not change it's name to change it. Valm was named after Alm, and awakening takes place 2000 years after Marth. If Elibe was there, Chrom would have confirmed it as as Roy or Eliwood being from there.
Elibe is like FE8 and 9. A stand alone game.

Close to 3000 years would have past between when roy was active and when awakening took place. And the contents shown on the map are never named or referenced directly, we know they're there but know nothing about them, so its safe to say chrome, who lets face it isn't the brightest lord, wouldn't know anything about those continents or they're history with witch to draw a conclusion about the origins of mysterious einherjar. And the name change I was referring to was freaking ylis.

Chrom correctly identified the radiant hero(Ike) who came from another world. He may be dense, but he is not stupid. Using awakening to prove such a thing isn't good, because awakening was rushed, and as a result they messed it up.
No, it isn't stated in game, but it is confirmed by IS and even the FE wiki that awakening is 2000 years after Marth, and as such, is 3000 years after Jugdral, which is 1000 years before Marth. Anri is 100 before Marth.
Another thing that dispels Elibe. The continent is named Akaenia, and if it truly was connected to FE6. Where on the map does anything look or even remotely hints that Lycia existed? Tiki, Naga(Nagi), and Bantu(who is old even by Manakete standards) mention nothing about Eliwood or Roy at all. No durandal, or sword of seals. Nothing about Lycia, sacae, or anything related to those two games are mentioned. Another continent? Then gaiden probably would have confirmed it.
A person suggested the same thing you did on Gfaqs, and it was quickly shot down by evidence that the scouring and how the Manaketes degenerated are completely two different things. Medeus would at least be mentioned if FE 6 and 7 took place after Jugdral.

Because the continent of elibe is on the otherside of the planet as akenea. It took till the age of enlightenment for people on earth to cross large oceans, and they barely have that level of tech in awakening. So of course Naga, or Bantoo, or Gautue know nothing of elibe, just like emperor caesar augustus knew nothing of the inca.

I'll end this with one fell swoop. No, if that was so, IS would have confirmed Elibe was on another continent. The only one so far that has been confirmed by Kaga before he left AND IS, is Jugdral, which they explicitly said takes places in the world of Akaneia, but on another continent. Valentia is also confirmed, and awakening cements that. Elibe, Magvel, and Tellius are stand alone games

Lack of confirmation is not tantamount to denial. Give me one canon statement that explicitly denies connection of sagas on the same planet.

Kaga's notes on which game are connected. Elibe wasn't even created when he left, and IS still didn't include Elibe, Magvel, and Tellius as in the same world as Akaneia. The list I gave you in Eternal Hymn, is directly which came from him before he left and that IS even confirmed as connected.

But you keep siting what is confirmed as connected and not anything that confirms the rest is disconnected.

*sigh*
I just told you. Those that are not in there are NOT connected.

Does the official IS statement expressly state that or are you inferring from omission. Show me a quote or a link.

Can we agree to disagree? Their silence is all the justification I need. I'll prove it with this.
Now, Kaga showed a few canon couples, Leif x Nanna(confirmed in FE5), Alm x Celica.
IS made no attempt to retcon either.
Here are there's: Eliwood x Ninian (not stated, but outright ship teased. Hard.) , Jaffar x Nino(confirmed by IS due to their son in FE6)
You can debate Eliwood x Ninian, but not the other two.
Here's another from Kaga.
Sigurd x Deidre(no brainer for FE4)
Arvis X Deirdre
Marth x Caeda.
Majority of these as you have guess are Kaga
Jaffar x Niño is my main candy maker though.
IS made FE6 and 7. If they did nothing to change a canon couple then you can tell they are pretty serious when they do make canon.
Now for my most hated. I'm not a fan of this pairing.
Chrom x Sumia. Like Eliwood x Ninian it is heavily ship teased in the opening and the rescue scene. While IS loves to drop subtle hints, and not give confirmation, it's hinting those two potential.
But once again, Jaffar x Niño.
If IS is this serious about Canon, then they would have announced Elibe as being apart of the Akaneia world.
