Random questions: Why is there a 'like' system on the site? And why is the button for it always in just the wrong place, making me hit it when I never mean to do so?

Random questions: Why is there a 'like' system on the site? And why is the button for it always in just the wrong place, making me hit it when I never mean to do so? This site uses a template, which the Like system is part of. I can only build off of said template, I cannot edit the original template itself. As such, I have no idea why there is a Like system(except that seems to be popular on some sites), and I have no control over where the Like button is placed.

I don't need the updated graphics though they'd be nice. What I want is the left out sub arcs and combos. Not to mention answers to the unaswerd questions involving some of the characters and the wtf ending credits.

I should pick up Dragon quest... I read about all of them on a wiki or something, but I want to play them. I love games where it goes first gen to 2nd or more for that matter.

Then DQ V is your best bet. As far as I know, it's the only DQ game with an established timeline, and what you'd call a '2nd gen'.

Yeah DQ V has 3 different timeline you play as during the hero's life.
You start as a child, then teen/ adult, finally as a parent where you play as the hero, wife, and his kids. Also with DQ V there is a Pokémon like element where you can recruit monsters to have them fight in your party
DQ V can be found on the DS. If you have a 3DS you can always play DS games.

After much thought, I've decided that when the time is right, I will join the military...

After much thought, I've decided that when the time is right, I will join the military... Don't decide on that lightly. It is a very difficult way of life, and it's not for everyone.

It's definitely not for me. That would be like askin an anorexic to become a bodybuilder.

No, I've taken the time to think it through and am still finalizing things. Not that I'm rushing, since I have probably another year or two. It isn't a light decision, more a life changing one, but I've had a lot of those so far. Probably by major, but never the less life changing.

I wouldn't even consider the military... You're more a "man" by most's definition than I, Emperor. And when I put man in quotation marks it's not to make any comment on the good name of any country's soldiers, but just to reflect my attitude on the male gender role being to fight and die in battle... If anyone of any gender makes that choice for themselves fully knowledgeable of the implications and consequences, then I respect that.

Trust me, I don't want to die, but no one does. Sometimes you just gotta do what you have to do.

Trust me, I don't want to die, but no one does. Sometimes you just gotta do what you have to do. That's true only to an extent. A lot of people seem to have the mistaken belief that joining the military automatically means dying in battle. It doesn't. Not by a long shot. I've known countless people, who have had very long careers and even longer lives while still being in the military. I know a Staff Sergeant with over two decades of service, who hasn't been deployed once. And I know a Sergeant who just recently retired, with only six years of service. You don't have to be Infantry, and you don't have to be Active Army. And even if, and when you deploy, you will most likely be stationed at a large military base with multiple defenses and weapons, and another two to three Battalions at least(2000-5000 Soldiers). What I'm trying to say is this: You don't have to sound like you're preparing for your own funeral. Because you aren't. Odds are, you may not even see combat for years. However... If your recruiter offers you a position in the Infantry, refuse. It doesn't matter what kind of bonus you're offered, even if said bonus is 100,000 dollars. Don't misunderstand me, being an 11 Bravo isn't a death trap. But you're very smart Emperor, and I think you'd be better suited in a tactical or communications job. And once you're a Bravo... You're a Bravo for life. You have very limited options.

Like Neo said King just b/c your in the military doesn't mean its the end. I had both of my grandfathers serve in the military. My one grandfather served in either Vietnam or the Korean war and he came out of it alive. I had another grandfather serve in another war and he came out of it ok. My dad while in the air force and did electrical work.
Like I mentioned before though the army is one of those things you have to be 1000% certain. I know even if I could medically ( long story short I had kidney reconstruction surgery from 0 to when I was 5 years) I know I couldn't do it.
I will admit I immature emotionally and even though I am an adult I still can't take the tiniest bit of criticism w/o feeling like its a personal assault. That's just over stuff from what my family and bosses tell me. I couldn't imagine having to make some if the decisions Neo probably had to make throughout his time in the military. I will admit those types of life and death decisions which affect not only me but other peoples life. The weight of those choices would crush me mentally and emotionally and I am not afraid to admit that.
That's why I will always have the up most respect for our soldiers not just in army but throughout the military. One b/c my family is in linked to the military and one form or another. Also b/c the price some of those people pay goes just beyond physical wounds but scars you can't see. Sometimes those scars the ones you can't see are the hardest ones to heal.

Air Force huh? What a coincidence, that was exactly what I was planning to sign up for. Not sure about the tactical things. Sure I'm smart, but I'm no Robin. Then again, that's a fictional character designed for such things. A fine distance esteem fiction and real life. I've just got to decide which position in there suits me best. I know its not instant death when you join, but life is random. As in the grand scheme of thugs you never know what will happen.
Not saying it will be my funeral as I can't predict the future and won't even try. I've just got to follow what I believe is best.

I honestly wouldn't recommend the Air Force... It ain't what it used to be. They've had a lot of problems lately, over the past few years. A lot of scandals. But you should talk to Grayjack, as he would know better than I. He was actually in the Force.
