Happy Birthday Os! Anyways, did you get the battle system Neo? It's only for army battles and not 1v1s. Though I guess for those you could just use a stat system and use RNG for winning. Stats could be speed, strength, skill, and endurance. Then you'd take into account weaponry and range. I think I'm going to convert it to a CYOA, but I'll just leave it as a poll, in case everyone wants it to remain a RP. I'm still having difficulty figuring out how to actually write that in a RP... But it will have to wait. I suddenly got slammed today with stuff to do(Which I can't talk about so don't ask), and I doubt I'm going to have the time for anything, aside from occasionally updating UB and EH. Which really pisses me off, as I probably won't have time to play ToX2 either. I'm also really, really stressed out right now. So... Yeah. If you want that class soon Golurk, I'm going to have to pass it to someone else. |

I'm not familiar with Black Lagoon, so I'll withhold comment. :X Black Lagoon is what ties it together. A city worse than Gotham, a villain who considers his job being an enemy of the state, and a colorful cast of murderous mercenaries being mixed with an international organization of idealist crime fighters who dress as bats and an MI6 agent who will try to protect the crown from communist and terrorist. And the best part is it can take place anywhere in the world! OK, that sounds kind of awesome... |

Bianca! Bianca is my waifu in like 80% of my playthroughs, though Nera is adorable too. And blue hair. Cause Hero's son with blue hair wielding legendary sword... See where I'm going with this?  Still Bianca though. And I haven't played DQ V in so long... Aww man, the feels in that game... The emotions... That game is why I love the series so much. I remember the first time I played the game, when Bianca/Nera/Deborah gets kidnapped by Horse Demon , I actually lost my cool IRL. I still have the game in my drawer, I may decide to bring it out again... |

Yeah, I've been noticing a lot of nods to the Hero's childhood in the later parts of the game that I never caught before. The feels, man. D; DQVIII was the first one I played and I'm in love to this day but each game since the fourth has had some surprisingly emotionally impactful moments. V is certainly no exception. And Pankraz is dad of the year every year. I always grind and run the casino until I can curbstomp Ladja one on one. See how the sick bastard likes it. |

I agree completely. My first DQ game was VIII on the PS2, and then I played IX, and went back and played the others. It's just... There are so few games that can illicit such a powerful emotional reaction from me.
DQ V and Chrono Cross, and off the top of my head, that's it. Actually... Now that I think about it, Tales of Legendia. The greatest Tales game ever. But those games man... I remember discovering DQ V for the first time, by complete accident, and I remember reaching the second part of the game, for the first time... Escaping the Prison, visiting Harry's brother, finding Saber again, all grown up... And then, so many years later, returning to the same prison with your children... Oh God, the feels... I don't think there will ever be another game like DQ V. I really don't.
My next favorite DQ game is VI. Oh man, I love that game... Arrrgh, the nostalgia! Must go play Dragon Quest!!!!

I did all the classes in 6. I liked chrono triger and cross too. I wish they'd remake cross and include the content they left out the first time. Oh why did it have to come out when square merged with enix.
