So, originally I planned to boot this up only when the full CYOA is up, but I've changed my mind. UB has it's own home for lore, and EH needs one too. This topic will cover both the Prelude, and Acts 1-3 of the Main CYOA. It will be used to catalogue lore, host Status Updates and Battle Logs, and can be used to answer questions regarding the CYOA. Though, you can also use the Q&A or UB's Hall for that, should you desire to do so. As a note, the only time you will see Stats in the actual CYOA is when you recruit a new Character, or are fighting important characters, or are fighting in the Arena. Like UB, EH will also have a Soundtrack, and all Soundtrack Updates will be posted here. I will post them as you unlock them. EH's main theme, The Road Long Travelled: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCqrmqatK-4GX and Golurk will probably recognize that one. Azura's theme, She Who Divides Light and Dark: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPGVINPp_zwThe I in the above link is a capital i. Kryian's theme, From Chaos: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4seWzW7jsW4The Underground's Theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3Oron-nbHAIn the Arena: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6eR9HsBhIgThe I in the above link is a capital i. And that's all you've unlocked for now!

Bump. Cause I don't like having a topic of mine with 0 replies. So... What's everyone's favorite kind of Laguz?

Oh, and would you mind if I skipped right to the finals for the Arena Match? The next three fights are all relatively boring, and since this is pretty much a tutorial, Azura is practically guaranteed to win, at least until the battle with Kryian. Or would you rather I write all the fights out, as I did for the first two?

Johnny's I love those type of Laguz. They work hard at their farms. Wait... They don't exist in your canon. Blast it!
Dragon Laguz really. Speaking of that, thank you RD and PoR, you just gave me a new character.

I'd like to see the fight scenes even if they are a little dull. As to laguz I'm partial to ravens but you probably could have guessed that.

I really wouldn't mind if we skipped right to the finals. This way we can get to the story posts much quicker.
As far as laguz go I am partial to wolves. I would say dogs but wolves just seem better combat wise. Since gene wise dogs and wolves have a lot in common that's why I like wolf laguz.

I'm the son of an English Professor. ...... Which, now that I think about it, means I have no excuse for my own grammar mistakes. Which are actually quite a lot... Personally, I too would like to skip to the finals, but my readers have the final say. After all, readers are like customers to a CYOA author. They're always right. I'll hold off on updating for a bit, and see what the majority says. The Prologue is already pretty darn long, since it doesn't end until after the Graelwind Barrow.

So... What do you guys think? Skip to the finals, or no? I'll leave the choice in the air for a while longer, but I really want to update, so if no one says otherwise, I'm gonna go ahead and skip to the finals.

Well I want to see the rest, but I'm fine skipping.

So, I've decided to skip to the finals after all... But for a different reason. Instead of the battles being too long, they ended up being far too short. I've been pretty busy the last couple of days, and just now got around to rolling the RNG and planning the next battles. And the last three battles were literally like a sentence or three long. For the life of me, I couldn't find a way to lengthen the battles, even artificially. Not without increasing the difficulty and tweaking some things, which I'm not willing to do for a tutorial in the Prologue. The first two battles, while short, had plot implications and I could actually write a couple paragraphs for them. The next battles... Not so much. I apologize to anyone who wanted to see the other battles, but I hope you understand my reasoning. Oh, and Azura is just too darn strong. She's not as OP as Trail or Leah, but she's pretty close. Especially since EH doesn't have the stat inflation UB does. Yes, unfortunately, you won't have characters like TUE in this CYOA. But a few of the characters in the main CYOA come close. *cough*Hiro*cough* Anyway, status update. Cause Zure-Zure leveled up a couple of times. Azura Lv 3 Mercenary HP:24 Str:9 Mag:3 Skill:10 Spd:10 Luck:8 Def:6 Res:4 Avoid 21 ATK 14 Skills: Armsthrift, Divine Protection Weapon Level: Sword D Items: Iron Sword(40/40), Vulnerary(3/3) Oh, and in case you're wondering, you don't lose weapon durability in Arena Battles. This is actually because you don't use your weapon, but a Iron Weapon the Arena provides(just like the GBA version). I meant to emphasize this in the story, but it completely slipped my mind. Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. Anyway, update will be soon.

Don't worry, you weren't supposed to win against Kryian. It was a cutscene battle. That being said, you can challenge him again later and actually win. The main reason for the battle was to show off Azura's unique... Gift. Those of you familiar with PoR and RD should now have a sneaking feeling about Azura's identity... If you're clever enough to catch the hints, of course.

Actually, I will tell you this: The Branded do not exist in this CYOA. Remember, the relationship between Laguz and humans is reversed. Laguz are worshipped like near-deities instead of being looked down upon. Also, the belief that a union between Laguz and human is a crime was invented by the three Legendary Heroes, and is a lie. It was then later continued by the Church to justify their bigotry. I will tell you that the heroes do not exist, and a child of mixed bloodline would still have their Laguz features and powers. So nope. But good guess.

Close, but no cigar. You're definitely on the right track though. Really good guess, if maybe a bit backwards...

Or... Micaiah and Sothe's descendent.
Or perhaps Ike and Elencia's?
Ike has a bad reputation for turning down women's adavnces. The fact his RF ending has him leaving with two males add flames to the fire...

Warmer, much warmer... In fact, that's all I'm gonna say. Because now we're getting into spoiler territory.
