Uh... You guys are weird. Must not reply with sarcastic remarks. Curse this life for giving me so much wit! I'm not sure if you're joking about the weird part, as everyone is this world is weird and flawed. We live in a cold- no, very cold world.

Hey Emperor, if you're looking for a good ship, there's always Azura x Kryian. Kryian joins as a PC in Chapter 1, though he doesn't permanently join until later. They're definitely the best couple, both for story and drama. And heartwarming, funny moments.
There's also Azura x Richard, and Azura x Geoffrey. If you recruit him, there's also Azura x Garn, which is a truly interesting pair.
The two pairings with the most impact on the future are Azura x Kryian and Azura x Garn. Both pairings drastically shape the future, even going as far as making Kael a full Laguz, and more. So it's definitely something to consider.

Oh, and by shape the future, I mean changing the next CYOA.

Sounds fun, but I've taken an interest in Possible PC x Possible PC ships. Richard sounds like fun, so I'll give him and try.
As long as we don't meet one guy and everyone ships him before knowing the rest, then I'm fine. Thanks for the heads up.

Eh... Richard is alright, but he isn't my best character, to be honest. Personally, I'm shipping Azura and Kryian. Though Garn would be interesting, because spoilers. And there aren't many characters Azura can S Rank, so it's not like there's a whole lot of options to begin with.

>.> why did I not edit that post?
I knew who you were shipping from the moment Evan began teasing. Gotta have a sharp eye for this stuff. About the not best character part... Believe it or not, Antigone actually gives me trouble..

Well, by 'not my best', I mean Richard's personality and backstory aren't my best. It's actually my best characters that give me the most trouble. Writing for Jeckel is a real pain...

Would you believe Atrian Saga was one of my first stories before BL came into existence? Granted, I had to change some of the plot and character back stories, but it looks like it worked.
I'm looking forward to see all these characters. You really surprised me with Azura being the queen of Canaan. She sounds like a mix between Elincia, and another person from an FE game I've forgetting...

So, I'm pretty tired, but I'm not upset anymore. So I might be able to update this and UB after I've had a nap. But... I feel like my writing in EH is subpar. It just doesn't feel natural to me, and I don't know why. Honestly, I don't think I'm happy with any post yet. I don't feel like I'm doing the characters or the story justice, and it's really, really bothering me. What do you guys think? Am I just being paranoid?
I'd like your honest opinion.

Well in my opinion you're pushing the tempo. The characters are developing to far to fast. Under natural conditions you'd see nervous break downs if a person was forced to change their underlying character this fast. You're only a little to fast to feel natural without consequences but yah, some one should have shut down or gone off the rails with everything thats happened. Thats my theory any way.

You of all people did not say that. When I look at my writing and then yours, do you know what I see? I see someone way above my level. Not trying to flatter, just being blunt. Heck, you write characters so well that I even falter for a second, wondering if my writing is actually good. I feel like I write a jumbled mess compared to yours. If anyone should be paranoid, its me. If you weren't good at writing the characters do you think I would have stuck around for as long as I have? You got me hooked with the queen stuff. To to be even more blunt, Get your dragon self back to writing good characters, or I sees I'll reach through this screen and throw you in boiling tar! May your nap revitalize you, for my words can only do so much. Never give up!

Hmm... So, Clover, you think I'm pushing Azura's character development too quickly? It's true the recent scenes at the Monastery have felt the worst to me... Should I redo them? I'll wait and see what everyone else thinks.
Also, thanks for the compliment Emperor.

No problem. How surprising this is. Encouraging people isn't my forte, so I probably did horrible Anyway, I guess redoing them mightakentje scene better. A little more...emotional besides just the tears? Hrm, perhaps have Darian not reveal he was just going along, and have him just tell Azura about the shrine? Then she realizes his real feelings? Just my suggestions, feel free to disregard them.

I wouldn't redo them now, that would feel unnatural in its own right. I think slowing things down with the chapel quest and showing slight signs of delayed psychological effects, not just from Azura but from Evan too. You can write it as residual shock then use some memento or new revelation to trigger a dramatic break down as everything sets in at once. Thats what I suggest even though I probably couldn't write the scene myself.

Well, a major breakdown is already in the works, considering what happens after recovering spoiler, so I can definitely work some residual effects in during the Shrine quest.

It's not as outstanding as UB for sure, but it's still a good story.
