As soon as he is healed he plans to go off on w journey to discover who he is and what exactly that scene from his dreams mean

One race isn't necessarily stronger than another. It's more based off of culture than anything else. A Nord would probably have more experience fighting things like wolves or Draugr, but an Imperial would more likely have more experience fighting mages and goblins. Nords are generally warriors due to the culture, but a skilled Imperial is no weaker than a skilled Nord. Nords are just more resistant to the cold. Animal Allegiance is fine for a Shout. It's not to be confuse with the Bosmer ability though.

Background: He's a man who knows little about the world around considering he has grown up in the forests of skyrim with his favorite place being autumshade clearing. He hasn't had much contact with many humans just the few times he had to venture to the main cities of skyrim to get the supplies he needs or to peddle one of his wares for some extra money. Also to get any supplies he may need to treat the many animals he cares for. Despite being a man of few words he is actually a really nice guy and has a wonderful sense of humor. Despite his rough upbringing he is extremely cheerful and has a/bright outlook on life despite the current state of his surrounding. The few people that do know him have called to call him Francis gardian of the animals.

One day while strolling through the local forests a mysterious bored figure approached him handing a strange shard. The figure said if you want to learn about yourself you must go on an important journey to save not just skyrim but the entire world. Before Fransis could ask anything the figure disappeared. Grabbing his trusty dual blades his white cloak and (if he can) his best friend a black and white cat he happened to find one day while walking through the woods. Because of growing up around wildlife he has gain the ability to understand the varouis animals even if others can't. While heading towards one of the major towns he hopes to gain an idea of who he is? Little does he know he and varouis other people he has yet to meet have a very important journey which could either save the world or destroy it.
