"Well I am new to the town," Sam says before Kiran can. "Mr. Kiran is over here showing me around the different sites. He said Vitcorp was a really big deal around here. So, umm... What exactly is a Vitcorp and what do you do?" Sam asks.
"Vitcorp does a lot of different things, but we're mostly tied to industrial invention, design, and engineering," Charles explains. "Normally I'd see if someone could show you around, but there was an... accident a few days ago. Someone was seriously hurt. So we're keeping a close eye on people coming and going until the investigation's over. Sorry."
"Aww okay," Sam sighs slightly disappoionted. "Maybe some other time then sir." Sam grabs Kiran's hands and walks away. "So Mr. Kiran whats your favorite place to go to? You seem to know your way around. I wouldn't mind if we went to your favorite place."
(A) That would be the beach.
(B) There's this great burger place nearby...
(C) The beach, obviously.
(D) I like hanging out at my place.

Kiran starts... twitching. He grabs Sam's hand and before Sam can react they're on a bus.
They ride the bus all the way to the beach. Kiran chants the whole way, then leaps off the bus. "BEEEEAAAACH!"
...It's kind of chilly. And it's starting to get dark. But, yep, it's a beach. Not many people here at this point.
"So, what do you wanna do first!?" Kiran asks like an excited puppy.
"Well we could always do a nice stroll along the beach. It's too cold and too dark to really swim. Besides we can chat and get a chance to know one another. So what would you like to know about me?" Sam asks Kiran.
(A) "Nothing, really."
(B) "What do you do for fun?"
(C) "How do you like Vitcity so far?"
(D) "Why'd you move here?"
(E) "What color's your underwear?"
(F) "How do you like me?"
(G) "AAAAAAAAAA."

"Nothing, really," Kiran says. "Wait, no. What do you do for fun? How do you like Vitcity so far? Why'd you move here? What color's your underwear? Er, no. How do you like me? AAAAAAAAAA! I can't decide!"
Sam giggles at Kiran's response. "Oh you're awfully cute when you get flustered like that. So lets see where do I begin? I moved here because my mom works in marketing and she got transferred to here. Pretty much they made her an offer to good to pass up. What I like to do for fun, I like going for walks, watching sports, and playing video games. I recently got this really cool system which is like a portable counsel system. A Nontendo Lever, it's really neat. I can play Nario Carts, and Nario Journey on the go.
"I really like it here it's a nice easy going city. Oh and my favorite color is blue to answer your other question. Hmm I think that's everything. Oh how do I like you? I think you're very nice and friendly. You're also kinda of cute, especially when you get all flustered like that," Sam says. "Okay now it's your turn."
"My turn for what?" Kiran asks, oblivious.
"Your turn to tell me a little about yourself silly," Sam replies. "You know your awfully cute when you act so oblivious like this. So tell me a little about yourself, whatever you want to say."
(A) I also like video games.
(B) I dunno, I'm kinda boring.
(C) Somnis is my best friend!
(D) I've lived here for, like, ever.
(E) I kinda just hang out with people usually.
(F) Uhhhhhhhh... I like the beach?

"Let me see. Uh... Well, I've lived here for, like, ever? Maybe a bit longer," Kiran says.
"Oh, that's interesting. So what's your favorite thing about this place? Well, besides the beach obviously. Is there a person or thing that you really like about this place?"
Kiran thinks for a moment. "I like the sand. And the water. And the smell. And the open sky! And the sun. And the warm. And swimming. And doing other things on the beach. Bonfires. Volleyball. Tag. And you can get ice cream. Everything about the beach is awesome."
"Oh I meant is there anyone or anything about this town that you really like? I mean the Beach is really nice for sure, but I want to know why you love this town? Well except the Beach, I want to know why you love this town?" Sam asks.
Kiran shrugs. "I dunno. My friends are here, I guess. And my dog. I guess I don't have any reason to like the city itself."
"Good enough,". "Oh you have a dog?" Sam asks excitingly.
"Oh yeah you been awfully friendly and awfully helpful today Mr. Kiran. Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?" Sam asks.
(A) "Let me toss you in the ocean."
(B) "Let me take you out on a date."
(C) "Hug?"
(D) "I dunno. Your number, maybe?"
(E) "I don't really want anything."
(F) "You could buy me some ice cream."
(G) "You already did. New skill~!"

Kiran enjoys some time eating ice cream with the new girl and watching the moonlight dancing across the shifting waves...
But soon it's time to say goodnight and head home.

Celestial Spotlight: Chance to Slow all enemies. [Sam 2]
Kiran goes to bed.
He starts dreaming of that lake again. This time, the blue-skinned girl is sitting on the edge of the lake instead of dancing. She's staring off into the distance. "...I know you're here."
"Yes," a male voice says. A faint, humanoid pattern shimmers beside her. "No dancing today?"
"Not today," she answers.
"Did anything happen?"
"Not really. Did you come to bring me a message?"
"Yes. Mercia's called for a meeting tomorrow."
"Great... I guess I should get my practice in today, after all." She leans back, then steps out on the water's surface. "I assume you're going to stick around and watch."
"If I may."
"I don't care. Audience or no, there's no difference to me..."
Kiran enjoys watching the dance alongside the shadowy figure for a while, then wakes up feeling refreshed. Still no Somnis... But she's probably at school.
He walks to school with Tia, who seems a bit quiet today.
"Did something happen?" Kiran asks.
"No. Kinda. Some weird guy tried to make me eat something I didn't want to last night," Tia explains.
"What!? Who? What was it!?" Kiran asks.
"I dunno. That weird guy. It was a Pop-tart."
"Oh. That guy..." Kiran says. "And you turned him down?"
Tia nods.
"Good job, Tia."
She beams at the praise.
At school, Mattea comes out with another announcement. "Anyone who wants to try out for the soccer game tomorrow, head to the club after school! Freya's going to be choosing our team today. Those of you who are participating, good luck!"
Freya has a determined grin on her face during the announcement, which she wears throughout the day. Natsumi sighs and slams her face into her desk. Neither Jimmy nor Buttons seem to care.

After school, Kiran walks over to Natsumi's desk. She's hurriedly packing her things away. "Hey, Nat. That excited to head to the soccer tryouts?"
"..." Natsumi hangs her head. "I can't. I mean. I wasn't gonna try out, but I still wanted to be there tomorrow. But I can't. I'm grounded."
"Huh...? Why?"
"Because of all... that stuff. You know. Dad got in a lot of trouble with the police."
"Huh? Hold on, wait. I must've missed a few things. Want to catch me up?"
"I can't chat. I have to go to Vitcorp and study where Dad can keep an eye on me. And this isn't really the place to talk about it."
Kiran follows after her as she walks towards the school exit, waiting until they have a few moments alone.
"Y'know how I started carrying stuff after... y'know. That stuff. Well... When Morgan started saying she was going to kill herself I kinda sorta maybe freaked out and tased her."
(A) Natty no. Bad Natty.
(B) OK, maybe a bit of an overreaction, but why was that wrong...?
(C) Perhaps you should have explored other options.
