Kiran give Arcadia a call. "Hey, Boss. I'm heading to the BEACH! You want to come with?"
"Ooh, I like where your head's at, lackey! I like it! Ol' Arcadia's gonna meet you there!"
Kiran hangs up. "...I think I'm in love." He excitedly gets ready for the trip, grabbing his emergency beach bag and sprinting out the door. Towel, swimsuit, big inflatable ball... Yep, that's everything.
After the bus ride over, Kiran leaps off the bus with his normal battle cry. He starts scanning the beach. Avalon's playing on an inner tube in the water, nice. Lisa is running around screaming, good. Somnis and... Dogachu... are... chasing her...? Oh, they're just having fun.
And Arcadia's here! What to do first...
(A) Ice cream!
(B) Sunbathing and chatting!
(C) Swimming!
(D) Catch-the-Lisa!
(E) Swim out and flip Avalon over!
(F) Swim out and DON'T flip Avalon over!
(G) Volleyball!
(H) Let Arcadia decide!

"No way, Boss. Your call," Kiran says. "I don't know if you met everyone here yet, bu-u-ut that girl out there goes to our school. Could be fun to mess with her. I think you met Somnis. That's her friend, uh... Lisa. And my dog. Somnis steals him sometimes. For some reason. We could help them catch her. Or stop them, I guess? Chilling's good. There's always ice cream, too. Or swimming."
"Givin' sovereignty to the boss? What a blessed lackey I got..." Arcadia seems to mull it over a second. "How about we help Somnis 'n her big hound in houndin' down this Lisa? Let's see how quick she can think with Arcadia and Kiran on her tail too!"
"On it!" Kiran joins in the hunt, along with Arcadia.
"What!?" Lisa squeaks. It's almost too easy, really. She runs right into Kiran before she even realizes what's going on.
"Up we go!" He scoops her up without difficulty. She's surprisingly light.
(A) "Here you go, Somnis."
(B) "Arcadia, catch!"
(C) "It's Somnis, so we're tossing her in the ocean, right?"
(D) "Surprise hug!"
(E) "BODY SLAM!"

Kiran scoops her up and twirls her around. "Surprise hug!" He squeezes her, and she grabs back as she desperately holds on. He finishes with a tight snuggle.
"Good job, Kiran!" Somnis says.
Lisa is blushing. "Please put me down."
"Yeah! Hand over my cutie!" Somnis says.
"...I changed my mind. Please don't put me down."
"...What if I don't wanna hand her over?" Kiran asks.
"Then I'll just take your cutie!" Somnis says. She points at Arcadia.
Arcadia laughs. "C'mon, lackey! You ain't gonna let 'em snatch your cutie boss away, right? Or maybe... we can snag ourselves TWO cuties!"
"Eek! Hey!" Somnis squeaks.
Dogachu starts growling at Arcadia.
"No, no. Easy, boy. She's just playing," Somnis says.
He stops and wags his tail.
"OK, now you can let me down," Lisa says.
Somnis wraps an arm around Arcadia's shoulder to help support herself. "Alright, you got us. What's the next step of your master plan?"
"Well, I can't let cuties like you two give us the slip so easily... So we'll do this! You 'n Lisa gotta play against me 'n Kiran in some beach volleyball! If you win, we'll let ya go... But if you lose, you gotta join my crime crew! Whaddya say?"
"Hmmm..." Somnis considers the offer. "And if we refuse?"
(A) "Hey, Boss... I'm actually really, really bad at volleyball, I don't think we can win."
(B) "These teams seem kinda unfair, especially since Lisa's so short."
(C) "Come on, Somnis. Bring it!"
(D) "Bo-o-o-oring. I'm taking Lisa and leaving!"

"Ha! Was hopin' you'd try weaslin' outta this! If you're too chicken to play us, we'll toss both of you cuties into the ocean! Maybe your big hound can keep you safe, Somnis, but not both of ya. And I can assure you, Kiran is an expert at tossin' women on the beach... So play us alreadyyy!" Arcadia shakes Somnis about a little.
"Yeah, c'mon, Somnis!" Kiran agrees. "Bring it!"
"But I'm not trying to weasel out! And I was gonna toss Lisa in the ocean anyway..." Somnis protests. "I just wanted to know what I get to do to you! When we win, first I get to toss Lisa in. And then it's your turn!" She jabs Arcadia's cheek again.
"...I didn't agree to this..." Lisa complains. "This doesn't work out well for me no matter how it goes..."
"Fi-i-i-ine. If we win, I'll settle for dunking 'Cadia. Oh, but since Lisa's short and you're so much bigger and taller, you have to let Dogachu play on our team. And he's really good. Deal?"
Arcadia bursts out laughing. "You want the dog on your team? I'm pretty sure dogs ain't that good at volleyball, but alright! Me 'n Kiran'll just win this 2v3 like it's no problem! Oh, and your dog joins my crew too! Otherwise, it's a done deal!" Arcadia sets Somnis down, eagerly grabbing the beach ball instead.
Somnis smirks.
Kiran has a bad feeling. The feeling turns out to be completely justified. Lisa, despite her height, is really good. And Somnis and Dogachu seem to have some kind of psychic link. The dog can't spike, be he certainly sets Somnis up for quite a few shots. And Kiran and Arcadia keep tripping in the sand, bumping into each other... Once Lisa starts getting tired, the upperclassmen start to make a comeback. But it's too little, too late.
"Sorry... Boss..." Kiran pants after the match. "But it was fun, though! Right?"
"...It was... fine..." Lisa gasps.
"I had fun!" Somnis agrees. She looks over at you. She grins, puts her hands on her hips, and leans forward. "You can meet me at the mall tonight for our dunk-date! You should probably wear your swimsuit."
Arcadia falls to her knees, absently gazing at nothing. "How'd that happen?! We couldn't have lost to a team with a DOG! UGGGGGHHHHHH!" Arcadia lets herself plop on her back against the sand, defeated. "...See ya at the mall, Somnis... Uggggghhhhhhh..."
"Seeeee yaaaaa," Somnis sings. "C'mon, Lisa." She scoops the mousy girl up and starts carrying her towards the water while she's too tired to resist.
(A) (Pick Arcadia up and toss her in the ocean as a warm-up)
(B) (Go to Lisa's rescue)
(C) (Flop down next to Arcadia) "So... What now?"
(D) (Rub Arcadia's belly) "There, there. You did good!"
(E) (Start burying Arcadia in the sand)
(F) (Go buy Arcadia some ice cream)
(G) "Aw, don't feel bad about losing to a dog. Dogachu's really smart! Come say hi, Dogachu."

Dogachu looks at Kiran, then starts walking after Somnis.
"Hey! C'mon, Dogachu."
The dog stops, seems to sigh, then comes back. He leans over Arcadia's face and perks his ears up. "Bark." If a bark could sound sarcastic...
Arcadia gives Dogachu an annoyed glance. "Wh- this mutt's really got a mind of his own, eh?! Hey, if you join my crew, I'll get ya all the dog treats you 'n the whole pound could eat!" Arcadia reaches out to give Dogachu a rough scratching behind the ears.
It almost looks like he rolls his eyes at the treat comment, but he enjoys the scratching.
"Good to see you getting along." Kiran sits down next to Arcadia. "Dogachu's a good pooch. When he decides to listen. He has kind of a mind of his own."
Arcadia shrugs, continuing to scratch Dogachu behind the ears with one hand and under his chin with the other. "Eh, me 'n my pops are more cat people, but any loyal animal's good in my book. Sometimes you can trust 'em more than people... Except this one. This one's got a sassy streak, dontcha, you big mutt?"
"Rrraaarrrrwwwwrrrr," Dogachu groans. Then he snorts and flops down on the other side of Arcadia.
"Hmmm..." Kiran looks a bit jealous. He's staring at Dogachu. And Dogachu... smirks back at him?
Arcadia notices the slight jealously forming on Kiran, wrapping an arm around Dogachu. "Y'know, I think I've really turned around on this little guy. He's way better than I thought. Thank you soooooo so much for introducin' me to him, Kiran! What a great idea of yours, huh, lackey?" Arcadia's ear-scratching on Dogachu intensifies.
There's a shriek, then a splash. The pair look over to see Somnis has just tossed Lisa into the ocean.
Kiran shrugs. "Just so long as you remember who was on which side once Somnis gets you."
Arcadia and Kiran reached Relationship Rank 3!
Kiran and Arcadia stick around the beach a while longer, then decide it's time to go.
Arcadia's supposed to meet Somnis at the mall for... who knows what Somnis is planning. It could be fun to watch...
