D Big Bro intensifies

Kiran decides playing with Katie could be fun.  He starts following her around.  She starts doing things like ducking under signs or hopping over benches.  He imitates her.

After letting Kiran follow for about 5 minutes, she stops and turns around.  "What are you doing?"

Karl walks up behind her.  "What are you doing?"

Katie turns around.  "Are you both copying me?"

(A) "Are you both copying me?"
(B) "Karl? KATIE, RUN! I'LL HOLD HIM OFF!"
(C) "Karl? KATIE, FOLLOW ME!"
(D) "Hi, Karl."
(E) "Oh, I'll leave you two alone (pick one of the other options)."
(F) "Party time!"

C. No good can come from Karl.

We need a tie breaker.

Katie stops Kiran from running. "Why are we running from Karl?"

"Uh. Because he puked on me?" Kiran suggests.

"Ew... That's gross," Katie agrees. "But it must've been an accident, right?"

"I guess? Probably?" Kiran admits.

"So why are we running?"

"...You don't mind hanging out with him?" Kiran asks.

"No?"

"Oh. Well, OK. Hi, Karl."

"Hi, guys. Did I puke on you? I don't remember that..." Karl says.

"How could you forget that? It happened when... Wait!" Kiran remembers the discussion about not talking about things in public places. "I'm not falling for that one. You must think I'm pret-ty stupid, huh?" Kiran demands.

Katie scratches her head. "Oh. Right. Then. I don't know anything about that."

"No, your not stupid..." Karl stares into the distance. "My god...the ferrets have erased my memory!"

"Cool. Good luck with that." Kiran gives Karl a thumbs-up.

Karl gives a thumbs-up back and eats a poptart. "Alright, now that I'm protected, let's decide on what to do."

"I dunno. I'm gonna follow Katie some more," Kiran says.

"Huh?" she asks.

"Yeah, Katie, what do you want to do? I'm up for anything..." Karl says.

"I dunno. I was just walking around the mall 'cause I'm still sore from my date earlier. And I don't wanna get all stiff. And it's cold outside. I don't want to be cold anymore..."

Karl thinks deeply for a minute. "The book has given me the smarts for this situation..." He takes out a poptart and basically inhales it. "Is there a Massage Parlor here?"

"Ummm... Yes!" Katie says. "But I think they require reservations, probably?"

(A) Let's check anyway!
(B) Meh, sounds boring.
(C) Let's just play more follow-the-leader, then.
(D) Let's go back to playing Run From Karl!
(E) You guys want to go watch a movie?
(F) GAH! I'm missing Somnis tossing Arcadia into the fountain!

C well following Katie around some more it is.

"Nah, I'd rather play follow-the-leader with Katie some more," Kiran says. "If she's not too sore."

"Oh, I'm fine with that," Katie says. "It's mostly my butt that's sore. Plus, I... I dunno. A massage sounds kinda... um... I don't know that I would do something like that. I mean, maybe? But... let's play instead!"

"Uh...what's follow the leader? Some sort of mind control? Propaganda?" Karl gives them a skeptical look.

"What the crap, Karl," Kiran says. "You just follow the leader. It's right in the name."

"Alright..." Karl says.

Katie takes point, jogging up a down escalator. Kiran follows close behind her, and Karl behind.

"See? You can do it easy!" Katie praises Karl. "Keep it up!"

She continues to do increasingly complex stunts. It climaxes when Katie jumps up on one of the railings on the second floor, balancing over a long drop as she walks along.

(A) "Uh, no thanks."
(B) "Katie! Get down!"
(C) (Grab the Katie)
(D) (Jump up with her)
(E) "You first, Karl."

"Katie! Get down from there!" Kiran says.

Karl climbs up to straddle the rail behind her and start crawling forward.

"Come on, Karl. Not you, too..."

"It's fine..." Katie says. She extends her arms and slowly inches along. "All I have to do is not fall and-" Katie wobbles, loses her footing, and starts to fall. She throws herself towards the inside of the railing, falling about 4ft instead of 20. "...Ow."

"Katie!" Kiran yells. "Are you OK!?"

"Yep!" Katie answers. She scoops herself up and dusts herself off.

"Does that mean I win?" Karl asks.

(A) Seriously, Karl? Seriously?
(B) Yeah, sure. We're done for the day.
(C) No, it means you're the new leader.
(D) OVER MY DEAD BODY.
