Lotus quickly steps forward to join Fjord in battle. The captain begins casting a spell and causes a wave of water to wash over the deck, hitting both Lotus and Fjord. The two are knocked back slightly, but still manage to stand. Fjord then shouts at the captain angrily. "Hey! Leave the dancer alone! Let's settle this one on one like real men!"
"Allow me to put you back in your place, captive." The captain's attention seems focused on Fjord.
Lotus moves to the front row.
Captain casts Wave! Lotus receives 4 damage. Fjord receives 1 damage.
Fjord casts Provoke! Captain is Provoked.

Man don't want to sound like I am just agreeing with Crow but I was thinking the same thing.

Lotus creates a concentrated burst of light around the Captain before flipping forward, towards him. "Spellboost." She creates shadow daggers in her hands and spins around, slashing at him twice before backflipping out of the way. The Captain fires his pistol at Fjord, but he casts a protective spell to block out most of the damage. Still, it's hard to block such a strong attack and Fjord is injured. He retaliated by throwing a spear of ice at the Captain and scraping his arm.
Lotus casts Burst! Captain receives 6 damage.
Spellboost! Lotus casts Shadowstrike! Captain receives 10 damage.
Captain casts Slash! Fjord receives 5 damage.
Fjord casts Ice Spear! Captain receives 3 damage.

You know there's no bonus to using dark element spells, right? Shadowstrike just does more because it adds her speed.

Lotus throws a sphere of light at the Captain, creating a small flash on impact before spinning around in a dance with darkness around her. "I'm not done." Performing a backflip, she causes a dark void to open beneath the Captain and spout dark energy from under him. The Captain casts a spell of his own, causing another wave to crash over the ship, hitting both Lotus and Fjord. Fjord holds his ground and retaliated with a blast of cold air to the Captain. Lotus breathes heavily, trying to find a way to end the fight.
I have to finish this quickly. We can't last much longer...

Lotus causes more bursts of light around her target, but the captain seems to be blocking out most of the damage as he continues to strike at Fjord. He seems to be getting weaker and likely won't survive much longer like this.

Fjord casts a spell, surrounding his body in a clear shell of magic while Lotus charges in and unleashes a blast of light on the Captain. "You're open." With the Captain momentarily blinded, Lotus jumps over his shoulders and stabs him in the back with a shadow dagger. The Captain lets out a shout and fires around his pistol in a panic until hitting Fjord.
He falls to his knees, but still lives. "I'm not about to die yet...!" Despite saying this, the Captain seems to be moving toward him.
Fjord casts Brace!
Lotus casts Flash! Captain receives 2 damage.
Spellboost! Lotus casts Shadowstrike! Captain receives 10 damage.
Captain attacks! Fjord receives 5 damage. Fjord survives with 1 health!

In a flash of light, Lotus runs in front of the charging Captain and kicks him across the face. Lotus casts Illuminate! Captain receives 2 damage. Captain is defeated.
Lotus reaches level 3! Lotus' Speed increases by 3! Lotus' Health, Power, and Ward increase by 1!
Lotus learned Mirrorblade!
Fjord reaches level 3! Fjord's Health, Power, and Ward increase by 2!

She then holds a shadow dagger to his throat as he's stuck on the ground. He grins and speaks. "What? You think you can threaten me with death? You won't get anything out of me." Lotus is silent as she stares at him. The bar owner from before starts to sneak off before Fjord throws an ice spear, catching him by the collar of his shirt and pinning him to the ship. Fjord is badly beat, but still manages to make his way over to the bar owner. "You aren't...ngh...Getting off that easy." He leans against the railing of the ship and looks back to Lotus. "So...What do we do with them...?" Party FrontLotus Health: 5/14 Manaflow: 2 Fjord Health: 1/19 Manaflow: 2 A. "I want answers. Tell me why you killed my mother." B. Kill the captain C. "Take all the money the bar owner has. Then let him go." D. "Take all the money the bar owner has. Then kill him." E. "Throw them both in the ship's cells. I'll deal with them later." F. "Toss them both in the ocean. I don't care what happens from there." |

Lock the bar owner up and let the other dancers do what they want with him.
Ask the captain real nice-like, and when he doesn't answer chuck him in the ocean.
