Someone let me know if I'm doing RPG wrong, kay? I have no clue how to RP 8 Int/13 Wis anyways. 10 is supposed to be the "human average." So an 8 would be like one of the dumber kids in high school. You can speak competently, but you're writing probably isn't that great. However, you do have good common sense and practicality which those smarter than you might miss.

That... Actually really helps, Lurk. Thank you. I also found the ability score tables on the SRD that list what each stat generally represents in RP, but I don't think GX is going to enforce that, so I'm not going to worry about it too much.
So, really, I just need to figure out now what I like the most. What I'll enjoy the most. So hmm.

I went ahead and took Rapid Reload. Does your Con mod get added to HP at first level, or only second level and up?

I figure it's less book smart, more street smart. And also not quite having common down as a second language.

Y'know what's fun for me? Throwing out a random, uncomfortable fact without really commenting on it. So, anyway, cats have penile spines which are thought to be what triggers female ovulation.

Neat. Now go report on fox and fish reproductive systems and we're all set.

Neat. Now go report on fox and fish reproductive systems and we're all set. Foxes are pretty bland. Males only produce sperm during one season (winter), which of course coincides to female estrus. Both sexes may mate multiple times, but eventually settle with one partner for raising kits in spring. Partners may be for life, but some foxes change year to year with no obvious consistency. Males fight over the choicest females, blah blah usual stuff. The most interesting part is that multiple males may follow a single female around like a parade until she chooses one. Fish are weird. Most of them, females release a clutch of eggs, then males blindly spray them with sperm. Some fish use hit-and-run guerrilla spermfare of they can't convince a female to mate with them. Seahorses are interesting. They have an 8-hour mating process that ends with the eggs implanted in the male. Angler fish are the weirdest, though. Like, not even just in fish, they're some of the strangest period. It took scientists forever to even find males. Actually, that's happened with more than one type of fish... Anyway. Males don't have digestive tracts, so they have to parasitically bond/fuse with females almost immediately after birth. When they want to mate, females just grab one of the several (usually dead) males attached to them.

Oh, but if you live somewhere with foxes around (yo) and have a female dog (also yo), you have to be careful about leaving them outside during winter. Foxes will come check them out of they're in heat. They usually just leave after realizing it's a dog, though. Usually.

Oh so here's some rules questions. This thing: www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Trip says that if I attempt a Trip attack on someone, and I fail, then they trip me (unless I have a trip weapon or a feat to help that). Assuming I don't have a trip weapon or relevant feat, what happens if I just can't be tripped in the first place? With a BAB of +1, what actions do I have to use in order to switch from a 1-handed weapon + shield to a 2-handed weapon, and vice versa? If I'm reading this correctly, I can just drop either and then draw the other all with free actions, and none of this would provoke AoO? And if I wanted to sheathe them properly and then draw the other, I would need to use up my move action, and the sheathing part would provoke AoO?

BAB +1 without Quickdraw means you can draw a single weapon as part of a move action. With Quickdraw, it's a free action.
If you want to switch to a 2H weapon while Sword and Boarding, you will have to drop your 1handed sword, drop your shield (depending on the shield this may be an action), and then draw the 2H weapon as part of moving.
Take note that dropped weapons are not sheathed, so anyone can just pick them up. Also, certain shields (like Bucklers, I think) can be used with a two-handed weapon, but as long as you're using the weapon, the shield doesn't do anything for you.

Picking up a weapon provokes AoO though, right? So if I dropped my 2H to switch to a 1H, an opponent would have to go through my AoO to pick it up?
Also, what's the rule about spiked armour/gauntlets and wielding a 2-handed weapon? Can I attack with either? I'm trying to minimize the impact of the hole using just a 2H reach weapon gives me. I'm also trying to figure out if I want to be using a trip-reach weapon or a disarm-reach weapon more.

You can't use a spiked gauntlet while using a two-handed weapon, sort of.
You can change grips with a weapon as a free action on your turn, so you can switch to using your Polearm with both hands from just holding it in one hand, but only on your turn.
Overall, you're better off always having your turn end wielding the polearm since you cover more area that way, and anyone already within reach is gonna die very soon.

And I assume if you're immune to tripping, you just don't get tripped.

I'm assuming the "you get tripped if you lose by 10+" rule doesn't apply to ranged spells or spell-like abilities, because common sense, right?
