Yeah, that's part of the combat maneuver standard actions (Bull Rush, Disarm, Grapple, Overrun, Sunder, Trip), which replace a melee attack.

Critical fumbles aren't a thing in Pathfinder, except they are automatic misses.
And skills don't crit. A Nat 20 isn't anything special and Nat 1s aren't special either, that way skills aren't as swingy so character competence in their specialties isn't as luck-based.

Ok figured out my campaign wish.
At some point after a few levels in, I'd like Cea to meet a human-sized Mantis Shrimp-based Merfolk and it teaches her how to Monk.

Tip for Mantis-Shrimp Monk.
Give it Pummeling Style. What that does is change Flurry from a bunch of weaker attacks and combines it all together for a stronger attack.
Now add Pummeling Charge and you now have one of the most powerful unarmed characters in the game. Alternatively, pair it with the spell Blood Crow Strike and shoot Kamehamehas.

People are getting their hands on copies of the new Ultimate Wilderness book, and it apparently sucks. Half of the content is broken beyond repair, they didn't bother with a public playtest, and the biggest feature of the book, the new Shifter class, is worse at shifting than any other class that can do it (Druid, Beastmorph Alchemist, Feral Hunter, etc.).
