Okay, so I decided to try looking at the default character sheet and it is definitely complicated.
However, due to better formatting, complex macro creation, and compendium compatibility, it is my expert belief that while it may take more time to set up without using the compendium, it will make actual gameplay and combat much, much faster since everything can be done with a click of a button.

Or, you know, /roll 1d4.

I figured out the drag and drop mechanics with the sheet and everything comes together super well.

For a melee character, combat is pretty easy. For characters with particular abilities, things get a lot more complicated and whatnot, and this allows you to easily select every single thing your character can do with just a few mouse clicks.

Oh. I wouldn't know. My abilities are all passive, skills, or utility. Except for one ability I'm still getting approved, but I really kinda want because it would be SO BADASS.

Even then, for characters with multiple weapons and once we start getting wands and magic items and stuff, things will get a lot faster with the macros.

But GX is going to tell us what those do and I can just remember. Because if I have a wand I'm gonna run around with it and show it to everyone like it's a summon. And I only use one weapon.

"Expert opinion"
Le sigh. Lurk. Knock it off. One, you're not the GM. Two, this isn't your decision. Three, changing character sheets now will make people have to redo stuff. Four, not everyone wants to change character sheets.

I'm being completely honest with this.
We should use the more complex sheet because it streamlines things so much. Just because I'm the dissenter doesn't mean that I'm wrong.

And? So what if you're right? You're completely and totally missing the point. And the point is that this is a group campaign, and you are not the GM. We are not going to change character sheets just because you say so. And using the complex character sheet would also delay the campaign for a long while.

No, I haven't made my point because I hadn't played around with the sheet itself until now. My hypothesis became founded not just on theory, but on experimentation.
I'm sorry I want to, you know, improve the overall campaign experience by speeding up all the mechanics so players can act more than once an hour. Especially considering that if characters have their WBL, like they should, everyone's going to have at least half a dozen activation magic items on them by level 6 or so. Oh, not to mention all the combat maneuvers, different weapons, spells, etc.
Players and GMs are supposed to work together to make a campaign as good as it can be. And as we can all speak from experience, slow campaign sessions suck lots of energy out of the campaign. No one wants to fight a dozen or so wolves for four hours.

Can we not just stop this until I actually have the time to consider things?

I'm sorry for acting like a jerk about the sheet thing and the Path of War thing. I honestly believe that both would improve the campaign (though the sheet is probably a lot more important just because of speed). I was too aggressive and cold about the whole thing.

I think I might be changing up my character some. I'm beginning to doubt whether I should go with Occultist. It's decently complicated and flavorful, which I like, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for.
I could go for a Witch or a Spiritualist or a Druid or even the Luchador. Not sure whether I am changing though.
Crow, what character are you running?

The most bland, vanilla, cookie-cutter Fighter I can make, but I'm not joining any time soon.

Okay, so reviewing everyone's characters:
Neo - Kitsune Oracle Cheese - Catgirl Cavalier Mystic - Catman Rogue w/ magic HHD - Merman Bloodrager Crow - Sword and "Bored" Fighter (had to make the pun since you said as bog standard as possible) Golurk - ¿¿¿Goatman Occultist???
Okay, so if I do change classes, I might want to change to one with a specialization in Wisdom, since we have our smashy guys, Mystic's Rogue will most likely have high INT (he needs all the skill points, especially if he goes Phantom Thief Rogue), and Oracles need high Charisma.
So that means if I do switch, options for me would likely be Spiritualist, Shaman, Druid, Hunter, Cleric, Warpriest, and Ranger. The first two take priority since ghosts, but there are probably at least one or two occult magic archetypes for the others.

There's also Inquisitor (though it might use Charisma, I can't remember) and it has an archetype that gives it a lot of the Occultist stuff.
