I'm just going to spend time with Foxy whenever I have nothing else going on. Which is... Surprisingly often, since most of my extracurricular activities are canceled on rainy days. And it rains a lot.

Kanji is pretty cool. I like him.
... ALL the characters are pretty cool, honestly. This game has fantastic characters. Also, Yuki is in the lead again. She's so adorable when she blushes.

Oh. Oh wow. I now understand why the Hermit is so good. Foxy heals you and gives you free Soul Drops when you pet him. I can't even begin to describe how amazingly helpful that is.

That's the one category where I'll admit P4 blows P3 out of the water. So does that mean you think P3 is better in every other way? I'll also give P4 "use of symbolism" and "dungeon design." And P4's 4th dungeon has one of my favorite bosses of anything. But I give it to P3 for plot, gameplay, ending, general aesthetic, Aigis, music, pacing, most bosses, and definitely, definitely the final boss. XXX is... fine... and has a really, really cool attack at low health. But XXX. XXX. Holy crap, talk about a slow boil to an awesome climax. The whole fight just constantly ramps up. And as soon as you realize the gimmick, it's like "ah, well, there go my trousers." And the dialogue from the boss throughout. Ah, man. "The silent voice within one's heart whispers the most profound wisdom." "There is both joy and wonder in coming to understand another." "The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate. Entrusting his future to the cards, man clings to a dim hope. Yet, the arcana is the means by which all is revealed... Beyond the beaten path lies the absolute end. It matters not who you are..." ...I will fully admit to being weird for actually liking the fatigue system and the lack of direct party control. I thought that was fun. An extra layer of challenge. Also, I feel like you love Chie so much Crow, cause she's literally a female version of you. She's like... More you than Natty is. So Wealth Hands are basically Persona's version of Metal Slimes. Except they also give tons of money. Good to know. I know how to grind now.

I can't decide which new Persona I want to make... I can make a Lv 17 Sarasvati with a SL2 bonus, a level 18 Yaksini with no bonus, a level 17 Ippon-Datara with a SL2 bonus, a level 14 Titan with a SL3 bonus, a level 16 Xiezhai with a SL2 bonus, a level 18 Ame-no-Uzume with a SL2 bonus, or I could quickly go gain 2 more levels off Wealth Hands and make a level 20 Phoenix with a whopping SL4 bonus. Those are the best options, anyway. I think. Hmm....

P3 would be... mmm... So suicide's kind of a major- Hell, suicide is the main theme from P3. You probably know about the evokers. The gun-shapes persona-summoning tools they shoot at themselves? To be fair, it's a pretty logical design for the thing, but that doesn't mean it isn't morbid as Hell. The very first scene is Yukari pointing a "gun" at herself and trying to fire it. You later learn it's an evoker, but still... (Actual plot spoilers and also more warnings) Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the big thing is a string of suicides related to the Apathy Syndrome?
The big goodend/badend choice is whether you kill one of your friends when they ask you to.
And the final boss straight-up tells you that humanity is secretly crying out for death. |

The question is, how realistic is the evoker summon? Does it actually look like a gunshot?
Zavied shoots himself in the head to boost his powers in Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria. It didn't bother me at all because it was obviously fantasy. What has a chance to trigger me is realism.
