I actually enjoyed the music for general encounters more then boss music.
Oh and Neo you'll learn of this one Waifu soon enough but you already met her. Her name is Marie and well you'll see soon enough

I lost the first boss battle because I derped. Please tell me I don't have to do ALL of that over again.... If so, I'll probably not be playing again for a while.

.... F*** me. I have to sit through everything all over again. Right. That alone is worth a difficulty drop. I don't have time to sit through hour long cutscenes every time I lose a battle. Oh wait... I can't change the difficulty mid-game.
...... WELP. Guess I'm not playing for a while.
Edit: NVM, the skip function is a lifesaver.

But she was in Persona Q and it's no exaggeration to say she is the most thoroughly unpleasant character in the entire series except for some of the bosses in Persona 5 or Vincent in Catherine. ...Well, I haven't played 1 and 2 or other2. Yet. But I can't imagine more than maybe 5 more characters being put on the list ahead of her. And one of those is literally Hitler. |

She's much better in Golden because they explain her backstory and everything.
But yeah in 4 Yukkiko was first Waifu

Decided to play some P4G even though I'm really tired. Probably gonna end up regretting that. Anyway, the whole scene with Yosuke and the MC being arrested in Junes really, really rubs me the wrong way. It feels so out of place and forced and contrived, when the rest of the writing has been stellar so far. It's like "We can't have you rescuing Yuki before the right time, so here's this really contrived arrest scene!"

First actual dungeon ho! Dark Yuki's castle! Also the first real time I get to experience battles on my own. Also also I like the card shuffle mechanic. Oh, and the very first new Persona I got is Aeva Pixie. Is there a silver dragon Persona I can fuse her with?

Alright, so. Chie got, investigation team formed, next mission = save first waifu. But I have a feeling I can actually screw this up, so... Looking at the forecast... In-game day is the 17th. The 18th is sunny, 19th is sunny in the morning but cloudy in the afternoon, 20th is cloudy all day, and the 21st is rainy in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon. If I'm reading this correctly... I need to go to the other world and save Yuki on Thursday the 21st. Is that right?

Why the actual f*** is sneaking up on enemies so ridiculously hard. This mechanic is just plain stupid.
Doesn't matter what I do. Doesn't matter how slowly I move. They always hear me and turn around as soon as I get close. I've gotten Enemy Advantage fights the past four battles in a row.
First real complaint about the game. Persona, take a cue from the Trails series. That series does field strike advantages really well.

When it comes to rescuing people I usually do it within the first day no more then two. Just for the simple fact that its done and over with and you don't have that constantly hanging over your head.
I started on Normal also and I think its fair to say its a challenge without being unfair about it.

Finally got the hang of sneaking up on enemies. But it took forever.
I don't have enough SP and items left to continue on in the current day. But I made it to floor 6 of Yuki's castle. Now I'm just grinding so I can make Archangel tomorrow and get that juicy forecast bonus.

Made Archangel. He's pretty cool. Finally figured out how the weather forecast works. The chance of fog appearing rises for each consecutive day of rain. But a single part of the day being rainy is fine, and just one day of rain is pretty safe. I'm going to finish rescuing Yuki and call it a night- er, morning.

Ho, boy, where to start.
Get used to it wresting control from you between every dungeon for whacky anime hijinks and also sometimes plot.
The 21st is not the deadline. Not one day of rain. Several. You'll know the deadline when you see it the first time. It's usually about 3 weeks out. Don't worry, you don't need to eat in the other world because reasons.
The them getting arrested scene's pretty forgivable. Someone just got murdered and he's swinging swords around like a looney. More importantly, it's their excuse to introduce Dai-whatsit the blacksmith and I think it's also the first time you meet Dojima's partner, right?
