What about an axe kick?

Axe kicks are so badass, but terribly impractical. Leaves you open and off-balance too long, even if it's a powerful blow. I've never used nor seen one used, not even in sparring. They really only work well against targets already on the ground, which... I mean, I guess in a real street fight, that's useful for taking a downed opponent completely out of the fight? It's just that pretty much anything you can do with an axe kick you can do with a different attack faster.

Like a disco stomp or a curb stomp.
What about a back kick? Aren't those the most powerful, though very risky?
Also, aren't kicks overall kind of terrible compared to punches in one-on-one combat, only useful if your opponent isn't being aggressive?

The only time I've ever been in a fight... Well, the only time I've bothered to fight back when someone punched me, all I used was kicks. They're great for someone like me - short and relatively weak - fighting a physically larger opponent. Good for keeping them at a distance. More powerful. And, best of all, unexpected. Who actually throws kicks in a fight? But if your opponent's already closed to punching range, yeah, kicking techniques have a very specific range of optimal power, so you're better off switching to punches and knee strikes. Or back off back to better kicking distance, or close the range and use grappling/elbows.
Back kicks... You don't turn your back on your opponent without good reason. Of course they're risky. I wouldn't say they're the most powerful by a long shot, either. A side kick probably packs the most bang for your buck. But they have their uses. Like, obviously, when someone comes up behind you and you can't turn. The best use I've seen for back kicking besides that is to reset after a different move that uses a lot of momentum. For example, throwing a roundhouse kick, not retracting it all the way but instead going straight into a reverse cat stance to fire a spinning back kick. Or dropping spinning back kicks targeting up towards the knee. Which leaves you very vulnerable if you screw up.
Short version: No, turning around just to throw a back kick is not worth, but they have some uses.

Most of my combat techniques involve grapples, throws, submissions, and punches. I know some kick techniques, but not many. I actually fight like a Wrestler, and that's because Army combatives is like a mixture between Wrestling, Judo, and Boxing.

I hope you don't fight like a college wrestler.
That stuff is useless in a real fight, especially since it involves sliding your knees on the ground.

I haven't studied much military fighting, but what I have seen of it, it's... interesting. I'd say it's a bit formulaic. Not that that's a bad thing. It's brutally efficient without flashiness or bells and whistles. Designed to overwhelm and overpower the opponent quickly with decisive blows.

Necklace + Sleep = Bad.
Session summary: Got through 2 barriers. Oozium 238 came through and started eating dinosaurs. Celica didn't approve and decided to kill it. Killing it has been going badly. Really needed Shira.
GX was exhausted. Golurk was sick. Neo was absent.. Mystic couldn't see. And Crow doesn't like being the center of attention. Lots of awkward silence.

It's going to die. A Glitter Boy pilot protects the weak and innocent. Even if it means bludgeoning a blob to death using the weak and innocent as a flail.
