... This is why I didn't want to miss session...
Can someone explain to me what exactly happened a bit... Clearer, please? And how exactly close to dying are people? And where did Mystic decide Shira was in all this? I don't think "playing with dinos" would cut it if, you know, all the dinos were being eaten. Shira's not stupidly oblivious.

I went with the "got angry and flew around the desert" idea. That way she wouldn't be in a location that would obviously have events she would react to that she couldn't because you weren't there.
The party is mostly fine. They took on an FOE they weren't supposed to. Its a giant slime momster that consumes living things. Celica is beating it with a tree because it doesn't like plants, Amelia nuked it twice, and Slimex summoned a flaming cat snake to fight it. So...its actually going really well. The only problem is that it keeps splitting apart into more slime monsters, but they're at least smaller than the original.

Is it weak to fire? Cause that's Shira's speciality. Giant flame circle nuke ftw. Also, "angry" isn't the word I'd use for how she's feeling. Upset and conflicted is more appropriate.

Celica's bottle-necking it away from Amelie, Slimey's hidden, and Don and Alice retreated. And it doesnt seem interested in Fire-cat-snake.
So everyone's fine, but we don't know how hard the thing hits or even if we can actually kill it.

So we don't have to waste a lot of time on it next session, EXCL warned Shira about the Oozium, right? That it moves faster in water, has tendrils, can skeletonize dinosaurs, splits on hit... Also help.
And Don told Mech, right? So he might be able to help somehow, or at least give us some information?
Can Celica parry now that she has a bush?

My answer to all of those is sure.

Just FYI, as a player, I've already figured out how to beat it. It's just a matter of explaining how Shira would figure it out in-character. But theoretically speaking, the fight will be over in seconds when Shira joins in.

Oh. Right. Sorry. It's a blob that moves faster in water and turns dinos into dried up dinos/ Skelly dinos, right? Sounds like a moisture thing to me. So in order to kill it for good and not have it multiply, we need to evaporate it. Which basically translates to "lots and lots of fire + temperature raising abilities of the Mark + Fuel Fire to make the fire even bigger". But the Blob and Mini-Blobs all need to be in one place, and preoccupied with something else. Then I'm going to have Shira cast Greater Flame Circle, use the Pyrokinesis Fuel Fire ability to double its size, and then the Fire Mark's ability to boost the temperature to the max, trapping the Blob in a circle of hell hot enough to completely evaporate it, preventing it from regenerating or splitting into more. All in a few moments.
... At least, that's the plan anyway.

1- Why are you a Guest. 2- I actually put a bit of thought into that plan, you know. It's not just "kill it with fire".

I assumed that the Blob ate the dinosaurs grey goo style, just dissolving it's flesh rather than desiccating it. It would also move faster in the river by letting the river carry it or swimming jelly-fish style.
I recommended dissolving it with oil, since its not water-soluble, but no one had a quantity of oil sufficient to do that.

Golurks got a good point. It ate all if the dinosaurs, but I dunno if that changes your plan or anything.
