I don't think I can deal with this anymore. It's one thing for there to be an ocassional spat, but it's always a thing in Rifts. I can't deal with this happening every week.

I'm going to give serious consideration to dropping out after this. Because apparently it would make people a lot happier.

Read about assassination. Here's what I found:
Sneak attack does the normal damage, then starts initiative. No damage bonus. Anna still takes 6 MDC damage, if that kills her, that kills her. The other thing is that you can only kill an enemy in one hit if you get 18-20 on your roll That's what you call a Death Blow and it costs 2 actions. So if 6MDC doesn't kill Anna, Amy has to roll a d20 which costs 2 actions and have 18-20 on her roll.
Note that Celica and Slimex are not equipped to fight a boss right now, so if Anna survives, I suggest fleeing. We definitely have the means to flee.
No, Crow, I wouldn't be happy with you leaving. I wouldn't be happy with anyone leaving actually.

Just want to point out something about a Death Blow. You can call it anytime. If you get a 18-20, you kill the enemy in one hit. Period. Costs 2 actions.
This also counts for enemies I guess. So any of us can be killed in one hit.

Oh also, VERY important. Natural 18, 19 or 20. If you roll a 16 with a situational bonus of +2, Death Blow doesn't work.

No. Only enemies with certain Hand-to-Hand techniques get Deathblow, and only at higher levels. Otherwise combat in general would be impossible for players. Even the Rifts devs weren't stupid enough to force players to auto-reroll any character on bad RNG.
I am going to bed.

Mystic, after calming down, I've decided I will not be dropping out of RIFTS, unless people are asking me to.

Can we try something? If anyone can have Neo see this post...
I'm thinking we could have a meeting instead of a session this Friday. Just to talk about stuffs.
1.I want to talk about some rules. Some of them are confusing and we need to take decisions about them. It's better taking them as a group, then just throwing them at GM, Mystic, and let him deal with it.
2.Talk about the past sessions as a whole, what we liked, what we disliked from the campaign.
3.I'd like non-canonical fights between each possible pairs of player characters, just to analyze the characters better, what they're capable of, as well as what they are NOT capable of.
I personally have a lot to say, but I hate writing it. It always sound hostile on text. I want to talk about stuff live. Stuff I've been keeping for myself for a while now.
I'd think it'd be profitable for everyone, if everyone wants to show up and do such a meeting.

How will we play this with only three characters?

People run campaigns with as few as one player. Heck, I remember some guy mentioning running a game with himself as the only player. I think it'll be fine. Plus, Cheese was working on a character, yes?

Its not about the number of players its about the number of hearts? The heart of the players? Something like that.

I think maybe I could come back. Things would get really busy for me though so I'm not sure.

How different is this from Pathfinder/BESM and how accessible are resources to learn it?

It's pretty different and it's a huge pain to learn the system since the book isn't well organized. The resources are less accessible than both as well.

You know, if you wanted to Misty, you could probably continue Rifts under a system like BESM.

I think if I do decide to do a campaign, I'm going to want to start over with a clean slate.

Oh. Well. Should we all announce what our Rifts plotting things were? Twists?

Yeah, you guys can. Sorry we didn't really get to them. I just felt like I started making crazy things I couldn't handle because I was short on time and understood...nothing.

It's alright.
Even though I left early, I enjoyed it.
Anyways, Don's thing is that he's from WWII era Britain, and his real name is Diego Truman. Even though he could reasonably head back to his time in a RIFT, he's staying where he is because the Nazis had been performing secret experiments involving summoning creatures from other dimensions, and he needed to collect the necessary information, technology, and whatnot to make sure that didn't happen.
