Which direction is Sefa forest and Alice in? Cause that's where I want Rand to go. For obvious reasons. North. But the group that left Sefa was heading West. Then my vote is B.

Remember how I said I was so confident about which way this vote would go I'd already written them in my notes as "Rand/Lily Chapter __?" Yep. I win.

A few minutes later, Rand and Lily are brought before the king and queen. "How did the training session go?" Paen asks.
"It went well, Father," Lily says. "And Mina performed admirably. Gale arrived in the middle of the battle, but we were able to defeat her by working together."
"Though Gale challenged Lily to a private duel afterward," Rand says with a sly grin. "It sounded like Lily lost quite soundly."
Paen nods to himself. "Yes, she'd be a tough one to beat one-on-one. Keep training and I'm sure you'll be able to defeat her someday, Lily." June looks at her husband questioningly.
Lily looks away, her cheeks a light pink. "She... caught me in an ambush."
"You should always be wary," Paen scolds her. "Falling into an ambush could cost your life. And on that note, there's been a small change in plans."
"A change in plans? Are we still meeting the Valmese emissary?" Rand asks.
"Yes, but we'll have another guest as well. A Feroxi representative. The two of you will be responsible for picking them up and escorting them to the summit," June says.
"You should have no trouble with this," Paen says. "Though we'll be sending some of the royal guards with you, just in case. Rand and Mina, you'll be heading to collect Hyun'ji with the troops we've already prepared. Lily, you'll go with Hawke to meet with the Feroxi representative."
"Who is it?" Lily asks. "One of the Khans?"
"One of their champions - Zenia," Paen answers. "I think you'll get along well with her. In addition to Hawke, you'll be taking along a Valerian knight - Rain's son. We'll also put together a small group from the town guard."
"I understand," Lily says.
"Shame we won't be going together," Rand says. "But this should be easy enough."
"Don't let you guard down," Paen warns him. Which chapter will you do first?
(A) Lily Chapter 1 (B) Rand Chapter 1 (C) Alice Chapter 1

Will there be some sort of affect to the Rand storyline if we progress Alice or Rand before each other? Or does it all just come together eventually somehow?

It makes no difference beyond preference. Or, I should say, you won't be able to progress any one line to the point it makes a difference.

Chapter 1: The Age of Destruction - Lily's Route
The Feroxi messenger heads out immediately to deliver word of the summit to Zenia. Lily is ready to move out within minutes, but she is forced to wait while her last-minute entourage is assembled.
She goes with Rand to the stables to meet her escort, Hawke. She finds him waiting outside along with Storm, both already chomping at the bit to leave. Hawke wears the standard black riding armor of the royal guard. He's a bit shorter than the average, but muscular with broad shoulders, with clean-cut, white hair. He looks around nervously as he stands before his wyvern. Storm stands at his side, stroking his pegasus. His pale-blue hair reaches down to his shoulders. His white, blue, and gold armor stands out from the dark-clad Carcinan soldiers waiting to leave with Rand.
Rand wraps Lily in a quick huh. "Be safe, sis. I'll see you in Trine in a few days, OK?" He jogs off into the stable.
Lily approaches Storm and Hawke. Hawke gives Lily a small nod. "I'm prepared to leave as soon as you wish, princess. We're to meet the rest of our group at the town gate."
Lily returns his nod. "Excellent, Hawke. We'll leave in a moment."
Storm offers a formal salute. "Princess Lily. I'll be joining you to collect Zenia. It's wonderful to see you again. It's been far too long... five years, I believe?"
"Six," Lily corrects him.
"Six years... You've grown even more beautiful than I remember," Storm says.
(A) Ignore his flirting (B) Admonish him (C) Return the compliment (D) Offer a meaningless pleasantry

C. No reason to be mean to the guy, even if you don't want to ship them. He is a childhood friend, and flat out ignoring his attempt feels out of character for Lily.
Also, I know it probably doesn't seem like it to you Crow, but you're updating a little too quickly. I didn't even get to vote in the last choice, and GX hasn't been able to vote in a while, even though she's been following the story. Maybe tone it down a bit and give people a bit more time to vote?

Oh look, an update in which I actually have time to vote- it's unladylike to ignore a compliment. Not really. If there are unwanted advances and someone just isn't getting it when you say you're not interested, it's well within proper behavior to ignore it. But that's neither here nor there, and unwarranted in this situation. C.

This might be a first. Asking people not to post in something. I didn't worry about letting everyone vote since we'll get to them all eventually. It's honestly probably the least important vote ever. To the point I'd be fine with just Anna doing it. Something important like support choices, I'm making sure everyone at least has a chance to vote. That's what Crow wants you to think. Well, yes, because that's... true? Maybe not childhood friends, but childhood acquaintences, at least.What.

Sherry is overseeing the preparations of the team being sent to escort the princess. Seeing as the king and queen will be away, and this mission shouldn't run into anything worse than a few unruly bandits, she decides to send just a few of the greener recruits. The ones Lily and Rand were training with earlier will do nicely, she decides. A pair of soldiers, two fighters, that promising young cavalier, and a priest - just to be safe.
The cavalier, Kelly, stands at her white-coated mount's side, staring sternly ahead. A few strands of red hair poke defiantly out from under her black helmet, despite her best efforts to keep them in line. The priest wears the traditional white robes of a healer rather than the black of most Carcinan troops. His blonde hair is neatly styled and parted. He smiles amiably as the recruits stand in line across the town entrance, gear packed. They aren't sure what exactly they're doing, but based on the Captain's attitude, it seems to be important.
Sherry paces up and down the line, nodding in approval. "You've all done well to make it through your training. As of this moment, you're all official members of the town guard. The ceremony will have to wait, however - you're already pulling a major assignment. Congratulations, you'll be escorting the princess herself. Enjoy this chance to get some experience."
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Lily's going somewhere?" Gale asks excitedly. She'd been a bit disappointed before - she'd hoped it would be Rand to walk through that door, then she'd gotten so distracted toying with Lily she'd lost her chance to grab him, too - but suddenly she's excited by the prospect of another chance to catch him alone. Now if she can just separate him from that stupid lizard...
"She's off to the port town of Mala," Sherry explains. "Rand's heading west. With Mina. Flying out with a group of wyvern riders in a few minutes. If you hurry, you might could ask to join them."
Gale shudders at the thought of riding one of those monsters. "N-no. Thanks. But it sure is boring around here when I'm all alone..."
"You and your father just got home a few minutes ago. I haven't even gotten a chance to speak to him yet. Don't tell me you're planning to run off again so soon?" Sherry asks. The recruits shift uncomfortably.
Gale rocks side-to-side for a moment, quietly considering the prospect. "Travelling with Lily. Hm. Not as fun as travelling with Rand, but... I haven't gone anywhere with her in a while. And this should give me plenty more chances to tease her..."
Sherry shakes her head. "Gale, you're a woman grown, and Grima knows I'd done my share of crazy stunts by the time I was your age. I won't stop you, but at least stay for lunch. You won't have any trouble catching up with them, and I want to hear what my little snuggle-bunny's been up to."
Gale laughs. "OK, OK, I can wait a bit."
"I thank you, Storm - though I suppose it's Sir Storm, now?" Lily smiles pleasantly and rests a hand on his shoulder. "Please, allow me to extend my heartfelt congratulations - and, if I may be so bold, add that you cut quite the striking figure in that uniform."
"You flatter me, princess. Unfortunately, while I would love to stand and shower you in compliments, we've little time for such pleasantries." Storm asks.
"Yes," Hawke says. He pats his wyvern and it lowers itself obligingly. He clambers over its wings onto its back. "Needless to say, I've been assigned as your bodyguard for this mission, Princess Lily. We're expected at the gate shortly. It will be quicker to fly. If you would..." He extends a hand to help her up.
Storm swings up onto his pegasus and pats its rump. "You're free to ride with me, if you'd prefer a pegasus."

B. Lily's probably used to Wyverns cause her brother rides one, and I'm a sucker for the "Princess and her Bodyguard" romance trope so I want to test the waters and see if I like them together.
