Age of Destruction: Fire Emblem CYOA

I nearly forgot. Carin, activate Rally Strength to give everyone's attacks more of a punch.

Quinn starts giving commands and people move into position.  Lily and Levi step right up to one of the revenants and attack the mercenaries behind.  The mercenary survives the first blast and rolls out of the way of the second.  Lily attacks the other mercenary and blows him away with dark magic, while Levi injures the other with knives.  Isana swings Quinn around in a dance and shoves him south.  "Go get 'em, Cutie!  Show me that lightning!"

"Right...!"  Quinn joins Kurt on the second line, barraging the revenants.  Kurt leaves his dead, but the revenant manages to slide out of the way of Quinn's second lightning bolt.  Rakim slices through the last of the revenants, while Hawke and Judoc take defensive positions.

"The princess...  Focus on the princess!  Kill the princess!" the dragon roars.  "Then the dancer!"

The revenants both swarm Lily together.  She slides out of the way of one, then gets nicked by the other.  She starts summoning dark spheres and attacking wildly, destroying the corpses.  The swordmaster comes leaping at her side while she's distracted, landing a ferocious blow to her flank.  Lily shrinks back, missing as she throws a dark sphere.  Rakim goes to aid her, but ends up locked in combat with the enemy mercenary.

The wyvern lords swoop down on Kurt, Judoc, and Levi.  The thieves dance out of the way, but Judoc takes a strong blow that slams through his shield.  Levi throws a knife at his opponent, but the wyvern bats them away with its wings.  Judoc lands a weak stab, but Kurt takes careful aim.  "Gotcha!"  The knife sinks into the rider's chest, but the armor stops it from being a killing blow.

The remaining enemies come charging down the adjoining streets.  Carin and Stella move forward into a safer position and heal Lily and Judoc.

A trio of paladins appear from the northwest.  "Charge!" the dragon orders.  "Break their line!  Don't let them escape!"

Quinn rallies everyone, then Isana encourages him to attack a wyvern.  He fails to land a direct his.

Rakim continues to fight the mercenary.  He gains the upper hand with a swift kick to the enemy's shin and slices his oppoenent's head off.

Lily steps back and fires shadowballs at the swordmaster.  The swordsman weaves through the attacks until a pair of knives tear through the darkness and stab him, dead.

Kurt finishes off his wyvern-riding opponent with ease, then moves on.  The other wyverns face off with Judoc, Rakim, and Levi.  A few minor injuries are exchanged.  Carin and Stella take care of the injuries on your side.

The revenants attack Hawke.  He manages to finish one, but the other proves more resilient.  A swordmaster runs up to fill its place and attack.

The paladins continue to advance.  The swordmaster and mercenary sent to flank are ready to join the battle.

What our Ultimate Tactician said 

Hawke shifts and attacks one of the swordmasters, while Judoc leaps over and stabs down into the revenant.  It begins to liquefy as Kurt runs up and hurls a pair of knives past Hawke to finish the swordmaster off.  Isana joins him, throwing knives at the other swordmaster.  The first strikes his shoulder, and the second his chest.  The mercenaries rush in.  One attacks Hawke, and the other attacks Judoc.  Both are turned away and injured in the attack.  The last comes for Isana.  She effortlessly dances out of the way, ducking under Hawke's wyvern's wing.  She twirls out from underneath the other side.  She leaps forward, stabbing him, then pulling the knife free, twirling, and slashing across his chest.  He falls dead.  Isana is breathing heavily, the cursed mark on her chest glowing brightly.

Lily leads the mages, barraging the wyverns with magic.  Only one wyvern rider makes it through.  Carin spurs her horse forward to attack him, but misses with her spell.  She gasps and nearly falls off her horse as he swoops down on her, but Stella jumps in.  She swings her axe, clashing against the wyvern riders.  They trade blows, both taking some small injuries.

The paladins come charging from the north, stopping just short of attacking.

The dragon lets out a roar.  Six assassins appear from doorways ahead.

"Come on!  More reinforcements!?" Lily yells.  "Are they not going to stop?"

Lily attacks the wyvern lord.  He ducks her first spell and keeps charging at her, slamming head-on into her second attack.  The blast sends him falling from his mount.

Carin rides over and calls down a lightning bolt to smite one of the mercenaries.  Isana performs a dance and pushes her back.  "The front lines are no place for a sweet young lady like yourself!" she insists.  "Run along and leave this to me."

"Um...  Right, thanks."  Carin retreats and goes to tend to Stella's wounds.  Stella, in turn, goes to heal Isana.

Hawke and Kurt take places to the north, while Judoc, Levi, and Rakim block the south.

The last mercenary leaps at Kurt.  He easily dodges the jump and stabs him in the back, turning to see a charging paladin just in time to avoid a killing blow.  Kurt's badly wounded by the attack, but throws a knife into the paladin's throat as he passes.  Kurt watches the paladin drop dead, only to find another paladin waiting when he turns around.  He takes another stab to the flank and drops back, desperately swinging to create some space and barely scraping the enemy's armor.

The last paladin goes after Isana.  She deftly rolls to the side, missing as she tosses a knife at his back.  The assassin attacks Hawke, leaping onto his wyvern to stab him twice and backflipping off before Hawke can strike back.

To the south, Rakim and Judoc get attacked by the other assassins.  The assassins land attack after attack.  None of them are particularly powerful blows, their armor blocking the worst of it.  But the enemies are agile, and they're unable to land any hits in return.

"Don't let up!" the dragon calls.  "We'll overwhelm them with our numbers!"  More wyvern lords appear over the south wall.

"There's still more?  Where are they all coming from!?" Kurt gasps.

"We have to hurry and get out of here..." Isana says.  "We need to break through and escape!"

Kurt shifts to the south and Rakim moves to intercept the paladins, forming a line with Hawke and Stella as she patches up the bodyguard's wounds.  Quinn shifts back to start giving direction.

Judoc moves to intercept the wyvern lords while Kurt and Levi fight with the assassins.  Levi throws his knives and Kurt jumps at the same assassin.  Together, they manage to take him down.  Carin retreats into the safe area in the center of the formation, healing Kurt.  The other assassin stabs Levi in the side, barely managing to draw blood through his leather armor.  Levi swings back, but the assassin flips away.

Lily attacks one of the wyvern lords with her magic.  She manages to clip him with the first spell, but he dodges the second.  Lily scowls, then jumps as Isana grabs her waist and twirls her.  "Don't give up, Lily.  I trust you!"

Lily attacks again, determined to gratify Isana.  She lands another glancing blow, then fires another shadowy orb.  The wyvern lord dives past the attack, past Lily herself.  He brings his axe down on her shoulder, leaving a deep gash.

"Isana!" Lily calls out, panicked.

"I am... fine!" Isana assures her.  She leaps onto the wyvern lord's mount, stabbing the rider dead.  Another lord comes flying past, hacking at her as she leaps from the injured wyvern.  She twists away from the attack in mid-air, tossing a pair knives at him and injuring him badly.  "You can trust me, too, Master...!"

The other wyvern lords attack Lily.  She ducks under one, but the other smashes into her chest with the flat of his axe.  She grunts, takes a deep breath, and starts channeling her magic.  A large sphere starts to form over her head.  "I... am the princess of Carcina!  I will not yield that title to a usurper!"  She stomps her heel hard against the sand-colored stone and the sphere sinks into the ground.  As the two wyvern lords rush to attack her again, two spheres leap out of the shadows and explode beside them, sending them flying from their mounts and slamming into the town's wall.

The paladins attack Rakim and Hawke.  One stabs at Rakim with a lance.  He turns the attack aside with his sword, but it still grazes his flank.  When he swings at the paladin, his attack bounces of the rider's shield.  The paladin lands a clean his on Hawke.  Hawke leans away from the blow and it barely scratches his armor.  He swings at the paladin, but his horse dances out of the way and the paladin swings again, once more taking a minor wound.

One of the three assassins sprints at Stella as she finishes healing Hawke.  He manages to stab deep into her shoulder.  She yelps and staggers back.  "You... bastard!" she screams.  She stomps the ground, bracing herself and really leaning into the next swing of her axe.  She slashes right through the assassin.  Or so she thinks.  His shredded cloak drops to the ground along with a lot of blood from the nearly fatal blow.  As the cloak drops, a knife goes flying past it, thrown by one of the other assassins.  It thuds into Stella's chest.  She looks down at the injury, trying to sputter out a few words but only managing to hack out some blood.  The last assassin, sensing blood, comes running.  He throws another knife that flies overhead as Stella collapses to her knees.

Quinn grabs her and pulls her to her feet before the assassin can finish her off.  "Stella!  Are you OK?"

She nods weakly.

"Just hang on!"

Lily watches for the next wave of reinforcements, but none come.  "Did we do it...?"

"No, something's wrong..." Carin says.  She shudders.  "S-something's coming!"

The dragon is quietly muttering to herself...
