I was planning to try to write tonight, but... I got some crap to do, so you've got probably until, like, late tomorrow or Wednesday to argue.

I'm willing to negotiate for Lily/Gin if I need to. Is there something you want?

Hellllllll no the only pair I want is Lily x Gale. You can have any other ship you want. But Lily x Gale are way to cute together.
No it has nothing to do with any lewdness if that's what you think. I just really like them together. In a way they remind me of Sophie and Ann. They just seem right for one another.
Well Just you know I can be stubborn as hell. If you have a ship for Rand or Alice I will happily support it at the very least I promise to stay out of the way when it comes to any other ship you have. Just give me Lily x Gale and you can have whatever else you want.

They're not really cute at all. Their conversations consist mainly of tickling and wrestling. I haven't seen anything special in them that doesn't come elsewhere. They tend to battle separately from each other. Lily is the next in line for the throne, if she doesn't have a child, the bloodline ends. Rand doesn't have a mark. And I honestly just don't care for it. It's a boring relationship. I dislike that kind of dynamic because it's played on so frequently. And every female protagonist I've seen on the Verse so far is a lesbian. I mean, that's great and all, but get some variety. I'm sick of the same thing.
Reasons Gin and Lily is good. Gin's already cute in the first place. Lily genuinely likes having him around and is trying to connect. Their kid would be cute. The royal bloodline can continue. I'm actually more engaged in it. Lack of lewd. They compliment each other well, not just on the battlefield, but off of it as well.

...Did I blunder somewhere with Yancy/Glinda/Cia? Also, June. Is not a lesbian, obviously. mailbag thoOut of all my female characters, I can only name one pairing as "okay I can see it" and it's in an RP I don't think Mystic reads.

Though, to be fair, those are RP characters. Of the CYOAs... I think every single female lead's either lesbian or bisexual in a gay relationship. The RP characters have a lot more diversity. Among mine, counting cancelled/dead RPs... there's 1 bisexual, 1 asexual, Leo was always a question mark, several straight, and... whatever the Hell Nyl is.

Still... shipping wars. That brings me back. To June/Haley vs. June/Ferris. And the surprise winner, Haley/Ferris. ...I am full of regret. I never thought Gale/Lily was going to actually take off, or I'd have written it pretty differently... Gale was one of the three on Rand's short list, not Lily's. Also vice-versa for Alice. I'm still half-expecting something out of nowhere like Lily with Hyun'ji, Isana, Harv, Nadine, or Sexy Cat Man. And I kinda hope people at least try Gale with other people a bit, too. Eh. Anyway. S-support for Lily (and Rand) is locked out until a bit after the routes rejoin, same time as tier 3 units unlock. For plot reasons. You should probably pick teams for survival and combat over shipping. And also remember that just because defeating a boss is a potential win condition that does not mean it is the smart/right win condition. Which reminds me, still need a vote for which route to start with. (A) Ferox (B) Valm

Just start with the first one.
I was keeping combat in mind when deciding as well as supports.
I meant to say every female protagonist in every CYOA I've seen is a lesbian.

If you can make a case for Lily and Gale perhaps I'll agree, but not as of right now. I'd also like to see if you've got anything wrong with Lily and Gin.

If Gin is cute and thats the only reason you want him to be with Lily. Why not ship him with Rand then?

I just don't want to have to justify a dozen homosexual couples having kids. Like you mentioned, it seems relationships tend towards homosexuality. Still, I've been thinking about undoing that decision. Because of reasons. The main reason not to at this point being people might've been doing things different up to now... I should just make a final decision already. I'm going to give it some more thought today and decide tonight. I guess people can try to convince me one way or another.

If Gin is cute and thats the only reason you want him to be with Lily. Why not ship him with Rand then? Because it's not just Gin. I like the dynamic of Lily and Gin on the battlefield and off the battlefield. They click together very well. Besides, I much rather prefer a story of a simple soldier marrying a princess as opposed to the cliche old friend thing. Plus, nothing was more satisfying than that one moment where Lily and Gin almost single handedly cleared that one map where Isana almost died.

Oh so the boring story of a solider marrying a Princess is less boring then the story of two friends that have a deep realtionship since childhood. Who actually cares about her and does everything she can to better herself.
Gotta Just. Gotta soooooo baiscally you like the solider falling in love with the princess cliche better then two childhood friends cliché okay I see your point.
Well now Rand x Gin can have quality time together and you can have the solider fall in love with the prince cliché which isnt as boring.

I'm not having a war. I'm having a discussion.
Gale said for herself that she never really spent much time with Lily. Their relationship also isn't very deep either. There wasn't that much development between them. At least half of their supports were literally just tickling each other. Which is slightly uncomfortable to read. Gale bettering herself has nothing to do with Lily. I also haven't seen her trying to do that, so I'm not really sure where you got it from. The two haven't really changed each other or affected each other in any way. What we got out of their supports is some backstory, not development. I like to see characters change each other with their S Ranks.
Lily and Gin isn't very cliche. The cliche is that the prince/princess falls in love with some lowlife that they can't be with because they're engaged to someone else or whatever. There's no rules against Lily and Gin being together. They're not star crossed lovers or whatever. I don't care for that. What I do see is that Lily would like him for who he is rather than what he has in terms of status or material nonsense. Not only this, but her feelings toward him seem genuine. Gale and Lily feel forced to me. Like they happen 'cause you just wanted it to. It wouldn't even feel that much like a natural progression to an S Rank. "Oh, we dueled and wrestled and played. Let's get married." That's not properly continuous. I don't feel like anything significant happened between them. There wasn't any forming of trust or anything special. However, with Lily and Gin, I get the feeling that Lily is going to bring Gin out of his shell a bit and make him less shy. It will actually mean something because she will be one of the few people that managed to get past that awkwardness and see him and love him for who he is. It means something more than Lily and Gale.
Are you claiming that a prince and a soldier falling in love isn't cliche or boring just because their both male? Or that I like it better BECAUSE they're both male? That's dumb. I'll fight you over this. I will play all the cards you don't want me to.
