Age of Destruction: Fire Emblem CYOA

Shep runs over and heals Isana again.  She's doing much better.

Lily falls back into the barracks and pulls out a vulnerary.  She manages to stop the worst of the bleeding, but is still badly injured.

Gin runs over and unceremoniously finishes off the last fighter remaining in the barracks.

Storm dives into the store room and stabs one of the dark mages.  The dark mage is nearly dead, but attacks him.  Storm rolls out of the way, then rears back as the other mage follows-up.  The fighter and soldier come at him from either side.  He stabs the fighter as he charges, then twirls his lance and knocks the soldier's thrust aside before impaling him, as well.

Isana moves to protect the other door.  Zenia stays close behind her.  A soldier tries to force past her, leveling his lance and charging.  Isana waits until the last second, the twirls to the side.  She drags her knife ineffectively across his chestplate as he passes, then reaches out and grabs his shoulder.  "Behind you!" she calls out.  She stabs her knife into his other shoulder, plants her feet on his back, jerks him around, and kicks off him with a flip.

Three archers come up and fire at her.  She weaves through a pair of arrows, answering with several throwing knives.  The third archer takes careful aim and looses an arrow into her chest.  She falls back, then rolls through to her feet.  "Not... yet...  Have to complete my mission..."  She pulls out a pair of knives.  "Don't blink!" she yells at the archer.  She throws one knife into his arm, then another at his chest, then suddenly whips out several more knives and throws them in rapid succession.  The Risen archer is hit in several places and begins to dissolve.

A dark mage storms over and takes the archer's place.  Isana, panting heavily, starts to leap out of the way as he begins chanting.  Dark spheres appear around her as she tries to backstep away, tossing a pair of knives.  Both graze the mage, but neither does serious injury.  Zenia grabs Isana's hair and yanks her back into the barracks as the dark magic crashes together.

"Ow-ow-ow-ow...!  Ah... thank you, Mistress..."

Storm, Hawke, Gale, Harv! Take down those Dark Mages! We can't let them get in here and we have to strike before they can.

Isana, you're too injured. Retreat.

Shep, lets get Lily healed. Your lord is your strongest unit.

Zenia, break through that soldier and give us an opening. Lily, take out the Dark Mage. Keith, Kelly, I want you two to storm those archers. Don't let them get a hit on us. Gin, provide backup support for them and keep. That. Door. Blocked.

Let's go, people. Move it.

About 60% of your characters are in a different country because route split.Yes, actually, but he got better.

Instead of healing, elixirs work like 1-up mushrooms.
It was Hawke, btw.
Unfortunately, Lily's team is now out.
Rand/Alice's group has 2 left.

Oh, you said something about stats...  For the most part, the stats are more or less what you'd expect from their class.  The exceptions would be that Lily can use Sword and Dark Tome, Rand is a flying unit... uh...  Oh.  Kurt (thief) has really really high magic since his parents were a priest and a cleric.  He also has (but can't use) Corona.  He's triggered it like 5 times.  And Carin (troubadour) has ridiculous strength.  Because fighter/peg. knight parents.

Alright, now we're making progress. Lily, take out the mage that attacked Kelly.

Shep, heal Isana so she can go dance for Lily.

Zenia, finish off that Dark Mage in front of Lily.

Lily, charge forward and take out that other mage by the archer and soldier. Kelly, follow the charge and take out that archer. Keith, advance with them and assure the archer's death/weaken the soldier. Gin, advance close behind Lily.

Gale, Storm, Hawke, and Harv, I want you four to return to the main room with Shep. Hawke, take up the duty of guarding the door.

Oh, yeah, custom plans are always a thing you can do. Just assume that's the last option every time. And it's just a really long string of letters in a way that just happens to form a plan.

Shep, heal Gale.

Zenia, handle cleanup with that soldier. Isana, give Zenia a dance so she can keep up with the forward group.

Kelly and Keith, take out that archer over there! The anti archer squad.

Lily and Gin, work together to wipe out that mage. If he's still around, take him out, Zenia.

Those in the back, move forward and keep up with Lily's group.

Zenia cleaves through the soldier's back with ease.

Shep tends to Gale. "Oh, not scared of me today?" she asks.

"I've no idea what you're talking about," he says. "Now be quiet and let me focus, unless you want this to scar."

Lily charges the mage, lunging into a stab. He raises his hand and a gale quickly flies forward and slices Lily, shredding through her thin armor with ease. She yells in pain and slices across his chest, killing him.

Keith and Kelly charge the archer, again landing attacks one after the other. Gin, close at Lily's heel, throws a javelin to finish him off.

The others advance. The enemy knight attacks, thrusting at Lily. His lance grazes her chest, stabbing through her cape. "Dammit! I like this outfit!" she yells. Lily places a hand on her dark tome, reciting from memory to summon a ball of darkness to erupt beneath the knight. "I have had enough!" she concludes. Dark energy crackles from the book to her fingertips, flowing up her arm, into her body, and through her soles into the ground. A shadow races along, exploding in a particularly large burst.

With the remaining enemies all carefully guarding points and unsure how to adapt to their loss, Lily's team is able to take their time and carefully wipe them out. She orders her troops to search the fort for any more survivors or clues as to what happened.

Zenia takes a seat on one of the barrels and calls for Isana. The dancer takes a seat on the ground at her feet. Lily, searching for Zenia, notices them from the doorway. She pulls back to watch the exchange in secret.

"Now, then. While we've got a bit of privacy, tell me what you're actually doing here," Zenia demands.

"Of course, Mistress. I'm here to deliver a missive from the khan." Isana produces a scroll from the fold in her cape-shirt.

Zenia takes it and examines the seal carefully. "I see you helped yourself," she says.

"Whatever do you mean?" Isana asks.

Zenia glares at her. "You've gotten better at forging the seal, but I can still tell this has been opened."

"As expected of my Mistress," Isana says.

"That was a bluff," Zenia says. "This forgery is first-class. Had you stuck to your story, I might have believed you. Well, I might have believed someone else - but you are you."

Isana bows her head and smiles softly. "I look forward to my punishment, Mistress. I do so enjoy our time together."

Zenia's hard stare slowly breaks. She laughs as she unfurls the note. "Such a brazen little vixen! You know I can't stay mad at you." She reads over the note and her good humor slowly fades until she's frowning deeply. While Zenia's attention is on the note, Isana turns her head slightly to stare at Lily with a small smirk, just enough to signal that she's aware of her presence. Zenia finishes reading the note and tears it into a few small pieces. She hands half to Isana. "Destroy these at the first opportunity..."
