I want to have everyone's character sheet - rough drafts, at least - by Saturday night so I'll have a week before the next session to finalize plans and whatnot. Also if you haven't done the time/availability poll yet...

Also, can I have my character have twin energy daggers from the start? How do I buy them?

Decided to make her a character from the JoJo anime, basically. She has psychic powers, superhuman strength, and is a good hand-to-hand fighter(That was me giving her a way to actually fight besides using Telekinesis, since I didn't have enough points for any weapons). That's assuming the Lethal Blow technique + Superstrength makes her good at it. If it does, she's gonna teleport right up to an enemy and smack him hard in the face, or fling large pebbles at 'em from a distance and that's how she'll fight at the start, at least until she gets her own weapons or mech. If that's not how I make her good at hand-to-hand(Like I need the Brutal technique instead for example) then tell me and I'll edit accordingly. I was able to fit her thieving and piloting skills, which is really nice. I need some clarification on how Supersense(Clairvoyance) works, and if it doesn't work like I envision, I'll take it out. Can she use Clairvoyance to see over a great distance for a brief time, or is it "predict the enemy's next action in battle" or what? Also, will we be able to buy premade weapons with gold in the campaign, or do we have to always create our own?

..... So once you click out of the document on Google Docs you can never edit that document again? So if I want to make edits to that character sheet I have to create an entirely new one. What am I supposed to do, leave my computer on forever?
Google is absolute trash, and so is everything associated with it. I should have just given Crow my character's parameters and had him create the character sheet. Speaking of which, wanna make my dragon sheet for me Crow?

Also, can I have my character have twin energy daggers from the start? How do I buy them? Look at that last reply to Cheese. That should answer your question. I dunno what you're talking about can't edit your character sheet. Maybe because you're using that link instead of accessing it through your profile.

OK, anyone making a mech/powersuit/jet needs to hold off for a bit. I completely ignored the opening of the mecha rulebook because I was so focused on how mechs are built. Which meant I missed the most important part of how mecha are built. Basically, there's 3 special attributes as well as some defects tied to building mecha (Owns a big mech, More powerful mech, personal gear).
I'm going to say "screw the rules" and focus on getting a mech-making guide up tonight.

So basically I just added Cybernetic Body and the other 3 to the character guide. Simple explanation, those skills work kind of like the weapon mods thing. You get separate mecha points to buy ways to modify the mech. It's mostly a balancing thing that makes it way cheaper than an item-based mech. Speaking of balancing, I limited how high of a rank you can stick on that stuff for now.
A list of mecha attributes that can be bought with Mecha Points is coming up.

Also, will we be able to buy premade weapons with gold in the campaign, or do we have to always create our own? You will need both brutal strike (preferably twice, the maximum) and lethal strikes, brutal strike to give it a level and lethal strikes to make the damage actually lethal damage instead of non lethal or "stun" damage. Also, pre made weapons exists, theres quite the big list.

Supersense: Supersense gives the user a sense that can detect objects
at a distance, see in the dark, and detect things invisible to
normal sight, provided they are in direct line of sight and not
blocked by a solid barrier (including the curve of the horizon).
Supersenses can include: infrared vision, radar; sonar, and
more exotic or magical detection forms. “Active” Supersenses
such as radar and sonar which send out of a pulse of energy
should be given one Rank of the Detectable Restriction.
A Mind Stat roll is usually required to notice a hidden
object. If the Supersenses are embodied in a technological
Item, an appropriate Navigation Skill roll may be substituted.
Multiple different Supersenses with varying capabilities
can be represented by taking this Attribute multiple times.
Supersense — Indirect
A Supersense may alternatively be defined as Indirect, such
as X-ray Vision or some forms of clairvoyance. This type of
Supersense can see through solid objects. It has one thousandth
the range of other Supersenses: read “metres” as “millimetres”
and “km” as “metres.” Indirect Supersense requires specific
concentration — a general action — in order to use it. The GM
can require a Stat roll to focus an Indirect Supersense to notice
something, such as a gun hidden under clothing. So. Could Supersense be used to detect your opponent's moves ahead of time? Would it be better as a Sixth Sense ability...? It doesn't quite fit either. You could do something like Supersense: micromovements or something. Totally not a made-up phrase.

Can you email to hhdeception@gmail.com ? Yes I have an email specifically for this alias. I do wonder how careful I've been about navigating those google documents without leaving my full name on my main email though.
