OK. Something I know I mentioned somewhere, but maybe it didn't get added to this thread and I'm too lazy to check. Actually, I may have only mentioned it off CYOAverse, come to think of it... Anyway.
We'll be using the base rules with the Cool Starships, Big Robots expansion. Which is where all the mech stuff's coming from.

Okay, I'm gonna take out Supersense and add points into Brutal.

How do Mech Points work? Are those just the points an item would cost if it wasn't an item? (20 Mech Points can buy 20 points of attributes, but it would be equal to a 10 point item since those have 20-21 points worth of attributes built-in.

Mech points buy attributes for mechs. Like... I compared it to how weapon ranks buy mods for weapons, right? And also weapons can have negative effects to increase their points? It'll make more sense once I finish transcribing.

Weapon ranks buy modifiers?
I thought those were just extra add-ons that cost more Attribute points and weren't attached to the rank itself.

X. While I'm thinking about it. You have some decisions to make before even getting started.
Power Armor or Cyborg-ness? Alien/human/bird hybrid, or super-soldier? Arm cannon or vibro-blade?

Weapon ranks buy modifiers? I thought those were just extra add-ons that cost more Attribute points and weren't attached to the rank itself. The problem is there's two types of modifiers, both called modifiers. Range, duration, range (and targets, but that's not applied to weapons) are general modifiers. These cost character points. They can be added to lots of stuff, not just weapons. The others (autofire, aura, accurate, activation, etc) are also called modifiers, but I'm calling them weapon mods to make it a bit less confusing. These don't cost character points, but are spent using special points equal to the number of ranks in Weapon. These are for weapons only.

Can you email to hhdeception@gmail.com ? Yes I have an email specifically for this alias. I do wonder how careful I've been about navigating those google documents without leaving my full name on my main email though. I just sent it to ya, if anyone else needs it, let me know

Wait what?
Wait, so a Rank 12 Weapon would get 12 points to spend on modifiers, not costing the player anything else?

Is Mind Shield even a viable attribute for my character? How often are we going to run into a psychic dude with Mind Control who is dumb enough to try it on a fellow Psychic with high Mind/Soul stats? My guess is not often, so that's another 2 points for me to spend.

Because appearing obviously psychic is a great idea.
Do characters/companions without minds need mind shield though?

I know dragon sama was talking about his dragon form.
I was just wondering what if we treated Neo's dragon form as his personal mech.

Both??? If not maybe human which has access to power armor but it dosent surround her all the time??? Or maybe she keeps it ib a watch or something but can activate anytime (basically Power rangers, Iron Man) 2.) Super solider/ Experimental Solider that rebelled against her creators 3.) Really wanna do both if possible. If not then maybe Melee Weapon specialists in her non suit form (prefers melee weapons but is competent enough to use basic fire arms like a hand gun) and ranged weapon specialist in her suit form (is capable of using more of the high end and more powerful ranged weapons while in her suit but if she has to can do basic punch with her armored encased fist Umm does this help

Because appearing obviously psychic is a great idea. Do characters/companions without minds need mind shield though? ... Okay, either you're misunderstanding what Mind Shield is, or I am. Only psychics would have Mind Shield in the first place, and Mind Control isn't something that's going to be very common, I'm guessing. Mind Shield literally only helps protect against it, by adding what is essentially a +1 saving throw against Mind Control checks. Considering said checks use Mind/Soul, and my character already has high stats in those areas, I was asking if it was worth it to have the attribute at the start. Which, in hindsight, the most likely answer is fairly obvious.

According to the pdf it's also defense against telepathy and distraction from pepper spray or burning effects that would affect comcemtration.
Mainly asking for a robot that literally doesn't have a mind.

Also, Lurk, while I appreciate you putting in a Bio section, it's nearly impossible to write more than a sentence in it. So I'll just post a brief Bio here if Crow says he wants one.

How so?
It should format into paragraphs.

How so? It should format into paragraphs. For whatever reason, it doesn't format properly for me. Long sentences stretch the block across the page, and the enter tab erases the whole thing instead of moving the cursor down.
