You hastily warn Iris about the demon, telling her to take Corva's bag and strike where you indicate. Iris shouts, "Corva! I need your bag." Quickly grabbing it off Corva's shoulder prompting Corva to shout, "Hey!" Iris follows your directions swinging the bag in a hard downward arc right behind the swordsman, but before the bag connects the demon releases a wave of sinister purple energy. Everyone cringes on contact with the wave but Iris' swing connects too, sending the creepy doll flying backwards and down through the sand. Corva speaks up, "What was that? Your little spirit friend acting up?" Iris responds cooly, "No he said there was some kind of demon clinging to the swordsman's back. Oh sorry sir, I haven't gotten your name yet." You spy the demon rising up out of the sand, and now it really looks angry. This time it charges straight toward Iris, you quickly tell her to open the bag, and she does so just in time for the demon to fly into the now open bag. Iris catches on closing the bag as it's glyphs light up, then clasping the latch tight shut effectively trapping the doll within. Iris speaks up, "Wow, looks like I caught it, whatever it is." Corva then shots, "Hey! Now what am I supposed to do now that there is some kind of specter in my bag? All my talismans and food rations are in there." Iris looks down then states, "Sorry, it was the wanderer's idea." Hey! Your irritation gets interrupted as the swordsman speaks, "I'm not sure what just happened. I have never understood the ways of foreigners or mages, but regardless of what just happened you two need to flee before any more misfortune befalls you."

All immediate threats appear to be neutralized how should you proceed?
A) listen to the swordsman and get away from him, with all thats happened to him since you met him he may really be cursed.
B) check for the conch, make sure it hasn't pursued you.
C) start searching for the wave raptor again, maybe the swordsman can help even if he is cursed.
D) bring the swordsman back to town, the guy's in pretty bad shape, and you need to figure out what to do with the demon.
E) hey! Whats that sparkly thing over there.

Twenty-four hour bump.
In case it wasn't clear Corva will not be able to access the contents of her bag until something is done with the evil spirit. Remember this is a dangerous non-corporeal foe who is very pissed off right now, so proceed with caution. That spirit was born and bread to bring ruin.

My resolve has broken. I'll switch to E, in the hopes that it won't take too long to retrieve, and we can follow up with helping this man.

This option was not the wisest course of action, your luck has been down graded thanks to the demonic doll's pulse attack. The RNG bailed you guys out though, you won an empty bottle instead of the half dozen life threatening scenarios this option could have lead to. Such as being attacked by a tier 6 plant monster with hypnotic abilities, or triggering a booby trap over a pitfall. Seriously I even hinted you away from this, but alls well that ends well I suppose. Just try to be careful in the future.

Yep there is definitely something shinny in that bush over there. You waist no time in pointing it out to Iris, tabling the matter with the swordsman, and the matter with the demon in Corva's bag. Iris announces to the others, "Mr. Wanderer says there is something over in that bush. I'm going to check it out." She walks over bends down a rummages through the brush, prompting Corva to say, "Well, anything worth our attention?" Iris responds, "I found an empty bottle. Those are always useful." As she gets up you see there are now a few twigs tangled in her hair and a dirty little bottle in her hand. Corva then chimes in, "An empty bottle. That's what caught your spirits attention. Man for a contracted spirit yours sure is hit or miss when it comes to alerts." You can't really blame her for that remark right now, but all in all you think you've been doing a good job up till now. Whatever your job is supposed to be anyway, you have to make a note about figuring that out. The swordsman speaks up, "Do you to truly not intend to flee as I have asked?" At this Iris responds, "I have no intention of running from you. Besides unless you are actively casting a time decay combo spell there's no way for us to catch a curse from you, so we have nothing to fear." The swordsman replies, "I do not know if you are kind, brave, or foolish but if you truly intend to keep me in your company I will endeavor to repay you for the aid you have given me." Iris chirps, "Happy to have you mr. Swordsman, but you still haven't given us your name." He replies, "My apologies. It has been a long time since I have had need to speak my own name. You may call me Hón."

24 hour bump.
Info: Amata, a country occupying a large island off the eastern coast of the continent of Calvein. It's size, environment, and culture all resemble feudal era Japan yet there is no direct connection between the two, geographic, ethnic, documental, or any other perceivable connections. Whats with that??

Every one is looking pretty worn out, you reason that it would be wisest to head back to town so everyone can rest and get something to eat. You make your suggestion to Iris and she nods in agreement. Iris then queries, "Hey Corva, do you need to find that wave raptor today? Because I think we should be heading back to town soon." Corva responds, "I still have 3 days before I have to report to the guild office in Delta Vera, but I want to get this job done as soon as I can. That said heading back to town might be a good idea considering I can't access my supplies." Iris then replies, "Alright then lets head back to town and get some diner at Bennita's. You can come along to Hón, you look like you haven't eaten in days." Hón replies, "I don't think its wise for me to be around people due to my curse, but you aren't wrong it has been 3 days since I last ate. I will follow." As every one heads out you scout ahead to watch for any threats. For a while every thing is fine but a few minutes in you spot the giant snail from before moving down the beach in the direction of town. As if that weren't bad enough you notice that its head to a large blue and white bird that is itself attacking a large beached black fish. You head back to the group to report what you found..
