You awaken surounded by an endless sea of stars. Every way you look there is nothing but stars. Sudenly somthing dons on you, you've looked in every direction but at no point was your view of the stars impeaded by an arm or leg or even a body. Before you can processes this thought your atention is diverted by a glowing circle apearing around you. Soon another ring forms around the first one, followed soon by twelleve smaller circles forming in the space between the larger two. The seen continues further as four lines extend from each of the twelleve small circles. Finaly the lines converge in a patern of squares and triangles filling the space withen the inermost of the large ring. You stare at this glyph that has formed around you, engrosed by the spectical of it untill...

... A vioce suddenly resounds from all direction, "Welcome wandering soule to the relm of the twelleve wheels." "I'm sure you have questions but I am afraid I lack the time to answer them the new cycle is about to begin so choose one of the twelleve to act as your primary conduit." As the vioce completes its speech strange aperitions appeer above each of the twelleve small circles.

C) a rugged brown stone.
D) a violet skull resting on a stump.
E) a shimering golden star.
F) a swirlling sphere of blue water.
G) a rithing black mass of tendrills.
H) a series of ireguler orange waves.
I) a large green cyclone.
J) a tree covered in pink blosoms.
K) an empty space.
L) a piller of red flame.

Your curiosity was peaked by the empty space, and the black tendrils had a bewitching quality that piqued your interest, but ultimately its the serene beauty of the pink blossoms that holds your attention. As you stare transfixed by its splendor it begins to glow with a faint and gentle light. It is at that moment that the voice chimes in "So you have chosen the essence of renewal to serve as your conduit. She is an appropriate choice considering the task you were summoned for." That statement only makes the situation more confusing as you don't remember 'choosing' any thing let alone this task you're supposed to perform, heck now that you think about it you don't even know who or 'what' you are. As if reading your thoughts the voice begins to speak agin...

As he says this the pink tree draws to your side and the the other eleven apparitions fly off in all directions. The voice then beckons, " wandering soul please choose where she is to awaken." It is then that four visions appear before you.
A) an archipelago surrounded by cerulean water.
B) a dense and ancient forest at the base of a mountain.
C) a small town bustling with activity.
D) a seen of sprawling fields filled with all manner of crops.

Probably the other conduits. Which I assume are possible players. And that "we" just picked a physical form, and will now be picking our starting location. I'm assuming that the ring represents all of the possible choices we can/could have made.

Also the main character never gets a physical body. Iris aka the personification of renewal is the first character that the mc can interact with, because you chose her. |
