You and Iris decide to check on how Bennita is progressing with diner. The two of you walk down the hall to the door that Bennita had gone through earlier. On the other side of it you find a staircase and another door. Iris chirps, "Ooh, I smell something good." To the sound of her grumbling stomach she quickly opens the new door and proceeds to crash into the young man on the other side of it. Iris starts, "Ah, I'm sorry are you ok?" The young man responds, "Ugh, ya I'm ok. May I ask who bowled me though?" Bennita speaks up from across the kitchen, "Oh, Jack this is the young mage I was telling you about." Iris interjects, "My name is Iris, sorry again for running into you." 'Jack' responds, "Like I said I'm fine, so no need for apologies. I'm Jackoleck, Jack for short, pleased to meat you." Bennita pipes up, "You seem to be having some odd luck today, this is the third collision with a magical being today isn't it." Iris blurts out, "Huh, third collision?" Jack responds, "Ya, its been a weird day first my fishing boat gets flipped by a speeding mermaid, then I get knocked off the dock by a visiting witch, and now I've been run over by lovely little cleric. I guess my wheel of fortune landed on a weird notch this morning. Well I'd like to stay and chat but I have to get back home so I can cook my share of todays catch. Ta Benny. Ta Iris." And with that he leaves the room. Boy is it ever weird to listen and watch a conversation knowing only one participant is aware of your presence. Iris states, "Wow, a mermaid and a witch wish, I wish I had a chance to meet them." Bennita responds, "Well I don't know about the mermaid, but if your interested in the witch, she booked the room next to yours about an hour and a half before you came in. She should be back here for dinner." Well thats an interesting bit of information, best keep that in mind. Iris chirps, "Cool, I hope she's nice. Oh, Bennita I just remembered I came in here to see if you wanted any help making diner." Bennita chuckles, "Thats sweet of you missy but you already done so much to help me today. Go on and rest I have this chore covered." Iris replies, "Alright, if you say so. I'll see you at diner then." The two of you leave the room...

I can't progress without at least one vote, bump.
Info: elves. The elf race is not a separate species from humans, as much as it is an ethnic group. That being said the elf race is known for having high magic aptitude and abnormally long average life spans. Their culture is traditionally nomadic and they tend to frown on interracial unions, or even interracial friendships. Haughty and prideful their attitudes are tolerated because of their magic talent alone, which is why they tend to show off their power regularly. Though not public knowledge the elf population is in steady decline do to low birth rates. Elves do not approve of cosmetics. Pink is not a natural hair color for elves.

Info bump:
Vera archipelago: a chain of seven islands due south of the active volcano mt cryose. The islands are sparsely populated due to relatively frequent tsunamis caused by mt cryose's violent eruptions. The islands however are a paradise when mt cryose is calm. Nearly all buildings in the Vera archipelago are designed to be collapsable for tsunami evacuations. Subsistence economy, based primarily on fishing, and a small amount of tourism. Possesses the highest concentration of renewal magic in the region of the Worele continent.

After leaving the kitchen you and Iris find your selves at a loss for what to do until diner. You ultimately decide on simply wandering around out side in the village. There are only about twenty buildings in the whole village, all comprised of the same thin wood strips. At a glance you can tell the vast majority of these buildings are personal houses, in fact only five buildings stand out at all. The inn you just came from is one, the next is a large building by the dock, the third is a small stall across from the inn, the remaining two are a pair of buildings at the far edge of town, one is a small building with no windows, the other is a long rectangular building with smoke coming out of its chimneys. Iris states, "Well, what do you think we should check out first?"

Good question what should you check out first. A) the dock. B) the building by the dock. C) the stall. D) the windowless building. E) the smokey building. F) a random house. G) just roam about. H) nothing go back to the inn. Note: there is not enough time for all of them, and different choices take different amounts of time. three of these have recruitable character flags, and one has legendary rarity item flag possibility.

Info bump. Renewal magic: the magic Iris was born of, and the only magic she can use. Denoted by the color pink, renewal magic is also referred to as life magic and the essence of spring. Renewal magic can heal, sooth, or strengthen any living thing, it however has the opposite effect on the undead. Renewal's antipode is decay. Renewal is classified in the order of essences and the triad of spring. Renewal born monsters may be uncommon but they never travel alone, usually strengthening other monsters rather than fighting for themselves.

Info bump. Spirit crystals: rare stones comprised of concentrated spirit energy. When two individuals come in contact with one of these stones at the same time a telepathic link will be established between them, and the crystal itself will disappear. If however a single person touches a spirit crystal then in that case the crystal will search for nearby individuals with whom the first person can bond. Moreover if a disembodied spirit passes through the crystals search beam the bond will be forged automatically. ( But really, how common are disembodied spirits any way?) "he, he, he."

You decide to check out the strange smokey building. Iris and you then begin to walk over to the building, but before you can make it to the door an old man walks up. The old man utters, "Excuse me, young miss, I'm sorry but this building is off limits right now." Iris responds, " Oh, I was just curious about what this building was. It looks kind of strange with all the smoke coming out of it and all." The old man remarks, "This is our local smoke house, its where we preserve our excess catch." Iris then asks, "May I take a look inside? It sounds kinda interesting." The old man huffs, "Sorry miss, but we're in the middle of a batch so we can't open the door, if we do we'll ruin the batch." Iris then frowns, " Alright guess I'll leave then. Bye." And with that the two of you leave.
