The rain disconcerts you so you look around for some kind of shelter. You manage to find a relatively dry patch under the cover of a nearby thicket, so you call Iris over and she leads a disgruntled Corva there as well. Now safely under the canopy of the thicket you urge Iris to try out the staff you just found. She complies and first removes the belt rapped around it revealing intricately carved glyphs similar to the ones on Corva's robe but different. Corva chimes in at the site of the glyphs, "Hnm... Range amplifiers. Not bad makes striking a foe from a safe distance much easier for a mage." To which Iris retorts, "Or healing an ally who is separated from you." Corva scoffs in reply, "Are you really that naive or is this little miss goody-two-shoes-fallen-the-sky thing just an elaborate act?" Iris respond, "Why is so hard for you to believe me about my opinions? And why are you always in such a bad mood?" Corva looks down for a moment then responds, "All my life I have been taught to control my magic, control my emotions, follow commands, and always look out for my own interests first. Any thing else just leads to pain. I don't know who are what you really are, or if you are telling me the truth or playing some elaborate con. But I am sure that if you keep acting like the world is all sunshine and rainbows then sooner or later you will suffer for it, and I don't intend to be there when it happens." Just then a beast bursts in through a nearby bush..!

All right you are under attack by a tier 2 island boar. How should you respond. A) ask Iris to boost everyones magic. B) ask Iris to boost everyones agility. C) ask Iris to boost everyones resistance. D) ask Iris to boost everyones regeneration. E) ask Iris to focus on healing as needed. F) ask Iris to try to charm the boar. G) ask Iris to stay back and let Corva handle the boar. H) ask Iris to whack the boar with her new staff. I) try to faze through the boar yourself, it weakened Iris when you did it to her yesterday.
Note: Iris has a spell called Charm the spell can potentially tame monsters, make them leave peacefully, distract them, or have no effect. The out come is RNG determined and is set by the monsters intelligence, Iris' magic stat, and your daily luck.

Can we do both D and I? If so, that, if not... just D.

Hey don't worry Hero this is the first actual battle in this CYOA, none of the voters know how combat works. Also no real pressure here this monster is only tier 2, this battle and Corva is in your party. She can one shot just about any thing lower than tier 6.
Ps. Every one the contest is still open in the Wheels Compendium topic in the discussion board. I encourage every one to participate.

24 hour bump.
Its currently a three way tie. Alas tiss the price I pay for giving multiple valid options. By the way I can't remember wether I gave you guys Corva's stats or not, so....
Do you guys want me to post a stat screen after the battle scene?

The beast charges right trough grazing Iris' leg with it's short tusks. You quickly urge Iris to cast a regeneration spell over herself and Corva. Iris then raises her staff casting a warm pink glow over the area. Corva on the other hand acts on her own, her hand is enshrouded in a dark blue glow, then an icicle springs from the wet sand beneath the boar impaling the swine as it does so. As the bad little piggy slowly dies of blood loss Iris' wound heals itself as does the bush the pig tore through and even Iris' pants. (Man that regeneration spell works wonders.) Corva deadpans, "Well, looks like pork ribs for diner tonight." Iris responds, "Sheesh you didn't have to go that far. Our shouting just spooked the little pig, a warning shot would have scared him off without blood shed." Corva snidely replies, "Its just a boar. The thing probably had three years of root munching and hunter dodging life ahead of it at best. This quick cold death was practically an act of mercy. But if you are 'so' concerned you can use that knife of yours and butcher the carcass, so it doesn't go to waist." Iris is clearly unhappy about Corva's remarks but she acquiesces none the less. You have to admit Iris is pretty skilled at butchering, she even collects blood and fluid from the pigs spleen. The fluids she stores in two of her bottles the meat she raps in banana leaves which she skewers shut and places in her bag. She then mutters what sounds like a small prayer and walks over to Corva.

C3. My instinct says this leads to that badass Ronin, which we absolutely must recruit.

Alright 2 votes for A, 1 vote for B, 2 votes for C, 1 vote for 1, 3 votes for 3, and 1 vote for 4. 3 wins the number option but A and C are tied so RNG votes... A. The final winer is A3.
Ag+1 Mg+1 Time+1:00
Character encounter: Xi Hón the cursed ronin. Monster encounter: tier 4 dread conch.
Ps. Neo you lucky duck there less than a 10% chance of finding Hón on this rout but the RNG called for him any way. Also warning to every one this monster is really dangerous look up real life conches then imagine an amphibious version that is 8 feet long and 4 feet tall.
