C. She should have new stuff by now, and even if nothing suits us, it shouldn't take too long to go shopping.

You urge Iris to finish eating quickly and head to Ann's stall. You're pretty sure that the two of you will need suplies if you're going to hunt a creature with a bounty on it. Iris proceeds to hurriedly scarf down her remaining food, in fact you're kind of suprised at how fast she can eat, and upon finishing heads for the door. Once out side you see that ann's stall has quite a few customers this morning. Once you arive Ann calls out, "Good morning Iris. I see you came to check out the new selection Laurence brought back from the main island." True enough the stall was overflowing with trade goods.

Yeah that will be a problem if you don't sell or haggle because you have only 5 copper at the moment.

If I've learned anything from Zelda, it's that the more empty bottles you have, the better.

We don't have vita mint, flour, or fishing line to sell. We can sell empty bottles, spurge juice, empty vials, and or the grand invigoration talisman from the contest. Nothing else can be sold here.

Alright I gave it an extra day. Time to tally. Seems you guys want a bottle and a hunting knife, but don't know what to sell so I'll sell the spurge juice.

Iris cheerfully chirps, "Wow Ann! There is much more stuff than yesterday, I wish I had more money to spend so I could buy more." Ann replies, "Well if you're short on funds I can also buy something from you. Do you have anything you're willing to part with?" Iris thinks for a bit, during which you take the opportunity to suggest selling the spurge juice she collected yesterday. Iris speaks up, "I have some grey spurge juice in vial in my bag. How much could I get for that?" Ann replies, "I could give you seven copper for that, not worth much to me but I do know an apothecary on the main island whom I could sell it to." Iris replies, "Ok, lets do that. Can I also purchase an empty bottle and one of those hunting knives?" Ann remarks, "strange choices for a mage but sure. With the credit from the spurge juice that'll be four copper please." Iris hands over the spurge juice and the five copper note and Ann hands Iris the bottle a hunting knife and a one copper note. After the exchange Ann chimes, "Thank you! Please visit any time." You then notice Corva exiting the inn and inform Iris. Iris hurriedly utters, "Thank you, I have to go now, by." With that the to of you meet up with Corva at the beach. Corva has a blank expression as she flatly states, "Time for the hunt. Don't lag behind and be sure to pull your weight." You note storm clouds on the horizon as the three of you set out.

The hunt begins how should you spend your time? A) stick close to Iris watch her back. B) stick close to Iris try to get info from Corva. C) keep a distance watch for threats. D) keep a distance search for your quarry. E) keep a distance look for any thing useful. F) keep a distance look for people out and about. G) bob back and forth behind Iris.
Ps. Why so little action in the compendium topic?

While option G sounds hilariously creepy, I have to go with E. Seems to me this is the most beneficial option.

24 hour bump. G is a "attempt every thing at once but significantly lower your chance at succeeding at any thing" option. If your daily luck was good this would be a good option, if your daily luck was bad this would be a bad option, but as you don't know today's luck it could go either way.
