24 hour bump.
Info: the magic guild, an industrial workers union for magic users, international in scope un-fettered by government over site, the magic guild has tremendous authority. There are rumors of shadowy figures operating behind the scenes within the guild, their motives are unknown.

2 votes for B, one vote for C. B wins will update in a little while, things are about to get ugly. That... really worries me. Do you think you could give a "what could have been" given C won over B? I'm really curious.

You throw caution to the wind by throwing yourself between the girl and her assailants. When you do so the boys initially are surprised but their surprise is quickly replaced by even greater anger or maybe even hatred its hard to tell you still can't understand a word they're shouting. They begin chucking rocks again, and you try to intercept them, you're able to bat one away with your hand but the rest pass right through you, apparently your newfound body still isn' exactly solid. Most of the rocks clatter off the ground harmlessly but one rock ricochets off the ground striking the girl squarely in the head. Then all hell breaks loose. The girl screams as black tendrils extend out from her in all directions. The tendrils wrench and tear every thing in the area, stones are ripped out of the ground, trees are toppled, an entire wall of the courtyard collapses. Your attention then turns to the screams of the boys, one of them was having his arm twisted off at the shoulder, another had his leg torn off just beneath the knee, yet another had his eye torn out of its socket, the other two were contorted so badly you could barely believe they were still alive if not for their screaming. Luckily for you, if you could call it luck, the tendrils have no more effect on you than the stones the boys were throwing just a few seconds ago. As quickly as they appeared the tendrils disappear leaving a little girl, face aghast with horror, in the center of a scene of carnage that would shock any one. The horror doesn't last long as she faints soon, you're not sure if its from shock, exhaustion, or both. You try to rush over to her but as you do the world dissolves away into mist your short lived body included, and you find your self back in the inn hovering over a sleeping Corva, who is drenched in cold sweat. What was all that?

A) try to return to Iris' room. B) stay put. C) meander about searching for anything out of place. D) head to the lobby to clear your head.
Ps, kjmccloud if you want to see a what if scene you and at least one other person need to vote for it in the Wheels Compendium topic in the discussion board.

Clearly she'll need support after a dream like that! Without having a physical form, there's nothing we can do for her, so let's go and get Iris before Corva awakens.
Okay, will do.

Why you always gotta blow my mind like that? Regardless, we know she isn't happy, and we know Iris is a healer. Surely she can help some.

After what just happened your first instinct is to rush over to get Iris so that she can check Corva's condition. But then you remember Iris' room is plastered with wards on every wall, you needed her help just to get out, so how can you get to her to fetch her? As you can think of no viable solutions you resign yourself to remaining in Corva's room and doing what you can to keep an eye on her. As you check on said sleeping witch you find that she already has visibly relaxed and her sweating has subsided. As you continue to watch she even starts to snore again, and you begin to miss the distressed state she was in before. And so the remainder of the night passes with you thoughts divided by concern for her health and contempt for her snoring. Then as dawn begins to break your noisy charge awakens. She roll to the middle of her hammock swinging her feet over the side, slips on her boots, droops forward a little, recovers herself, then stands and stretches. After that she then heads for the door and leaves the room.
