You try tracing a magic circle with your foot.  No luck.  You twist and wriggle and manage to slide your shoes off, then pull off one of your socks.  You try tracing your toe against the ground, feeling a pulse of magic.  Suddenly you realize why Waite always wears sandals.

Fortunately, Sara doesn't notice what you're doing.  She thinks you're just trying to escape and isn't looking behind her.

You start tracing a magic circle.  It's hard enough with your hands, and when you can see what you're doing.  The first few attempts are failures.  Some because of Sara jostling you, others because you're just not used to this.

You try drawing a smiley face with your hands to distract Sara.  She immediately seizes your free wrist.  "I almost forgot you could do that!"  With a struggle, she manages to force your other arm behind your back.  She takes out a pair of handcuffs and snaps them in place.

(A) Create a geyser to blow her off
(B) Create a burst of ice
(C) Create a somewhat complicated sigil that will freeze if she gets close
(D) Risk making a complex sigil that will bind her in frozen chains
(E) Just give up

I would sayyyy D to buy time. Charging in wouldn't help because she has hamds and we don't. We could stop her from getting her phone back, but if she goes for it at least we can get free and probably go for ours as well.

You start tracing another rune with your foot, inscribing a symbol into the dirt.

Sara starts towards her phone.  She takes a few steps, then stops.  She turns around and decides to charge you instead.  That half-second of hesitation gives you just enough time to finish.

Sara dives at you, trying to grab your leg.  You leap back just in time to avoid getting caught in the blast of ice yourself.  When it clears, Sara's arm is frozen to the ground.  "Ngh!  Dammit...!"  She tugs and tries to pull free of the ice, but it's thick enough to hold her in place easily.  She starts punching it with her free arm, but soon realizes the futility of the gesture and bows her head in defeat.  "Alright.  You win."

You grab your phone and summon a demon to break those cuffs off of you.  Then you turn back to Sara, still stuck on the ground.

"So...  You said I had to do something cute for you, huh?  Did you have something in mind?"

(A) (Let her go)
(B) "Well, you said you'd be my dummy for some magic experimentation..."
(C) "Let's just cuddle a bit."
(D) "How about you wear whatever it was you wanted to see me in instead?"
(E) "I'm going to make sure you remember this defeat."

You immediately decide, but you act a bit coy.  "How about...  Oh.  Whatever it was you wanted me to wear, I'm going to make you wear it instead!"

"O-oh...  Um.  I, uh..."  Sara seems uncharacteristically bashful, even turning a bit red.  "Th-thats..."

You ask if she's trying to weasel out of your little bet.

"N-no, it's just... I can't because you, uh, you sorta...  You sorta broke them..." she concludes quietly, turning bright red.

Your eyes drop to the broken handcuffs.

Sara wants you to wear...  Oh.  And now you're going to...  Oh.

(A) "Oh, Hell yes."
(B) "Oh, Hell no."
(C) "...OK!  Let's have some fun."
(D) "Um.  I guess we can... try something like that..."
(E) "On second thought, never mind.  Bet's off."
(F) "I think you were right.  They'd look better on me than you..."
(G) "Where did this come from?"
(H) "Oh, I've got something much better in mind..."
(I) "Oh, I've got something much worse in mind..."

You break the ice holding her down, and carry her up to your bedroom.  Well, the guest room.  Kumiko and Rita are sleeping in your room.  After dropping Sara off, you sneak in to raid your closest.

She brings a dress to an anxious Sara, and orders her to put it on.  "That's...  That's it?" Sara asks.

No, it's not.  You don't have any cat ears, but with a big ribbon, smaller ribbon, and some straight clips... you're able to improvise.  It actually looks pretty convincing.

Sara looks at herself in the mirror.  "Am...  Am I supposed to be a fancy... cat-person?  You know I prefer dogs."

You tell Sara not to ruin this for you.  She needs to start meowing and acting like a cute cat, stat.

A few minutes later, Sara flops onto the pillow, panting lightly.  "That was... different," she says.  She rolls over to stare into your eyes.  She laces her fingers into your hand, lightly rubs her foot against yours...

"Um...  Thanks.  For... indulging me with that sparring match.  And for... not... being weird about the handcuffs thing.  But I haven't... Don't think I've given up on that!  Even if we have to spar 100 times...

"...That would make me really happy, y'know. Not the fighting or the... I just want us to be together long enough to do that much together. Ha, especially considering everything...

Sara stares at you a while longer, her finger now tracing your side. Then she flops onto her back. "Remember when I kinda suggested us breaking up? I'm... I'm so, so glad you talked me out of it.

"I love you, Kira Dreama. I really, really do."

(A) "Good."
(B) "I love you, too!"
(C) "I'm glad to hear that, but..."
(D) "...I can't do this anymore. I can't keep leading you along. Sara, the one I love is Waite."
(E) "Ha, gay."
(F) "...Marry me, Sara Lyon."
(G) (kiss)
(H) "...OK, fine, I'll wear the handcuffs for you. Just stop making me blush..."
(I) "Enough to consider a 3-way relationship?"
(J) "Sara... You're just so perfect."
(K) (surprise tickle attack!)
(L) "...You're making me feel guilty here... I have a confession to make. While you were dead, Waite kissed me. Again."
