Umm flying Dood how realstic is it that we can take him on. I'm not tracking stats too rigorously, unlike some other games and stuff. Assume I'm not throwing anything at you that's unbeatable. So long as you fight smart.
Other than stuff that's obviously way too strong to fight.

You take the path to the deeper forest.
You are not dealing with this thing.
The trees grow thicker and thicker until they seem to be engulfing you. You can't see the sky above anymore, nor the horrid creature dominating it. After a few moments of walking, you can hear it occasionally swooping by above. It seems to be searching, patrolling for you. In the back, you can still see that glow of the creatures - faintly, barely visible. It seems to be spreading out, as if the things are spreading out.
You notice something's... off. The forest should be full of demons, but you haven't seen any besides the ones that followed you in...
(A) Head deeper into the forest
(B) Wait and hide here
(C) Head back the way you came

You duck down and hide. After a few minutes, the glow is still there. But it doesn't seem to be getting closer. Looks like they're just wandering randomly at this point, and they're spreading out a bit. The flying thing... you hear its wingbeats fading into the distance, come back, fade, come back... several times, but each time the return trip ends further away. Eventually the sound of wingbeats fades altogether, heading deeper into the forest. There's still no sign of any demons...
(A) Keep waiting
(B) Head deeper
(C) Head out of the forest

You start carefully making your way out of the forest... You manage to avoid the glowing, corrupted humans due to the fact that they're... well, glowing and extremely obvious. You don't run into any other demons, either, and the winged beast seems to have disappeared. For now, at least...
You reach the edge of the forest and head into the city. You actually start to feel more secure once normal demons start showing up again. You pick a random building and duck inside, sending a message to the others about where to meet you.
George has been hauling Daniel all this time, with Sara and Elise taking turns helping. They drop him into a nearby chair and he continues to sit listlessly. You see tears welling up in his eyes as he stares into space.
(A) Tell him it's going to be OK
(B) Tell him it's not his fault
(C) Let someone else take this one
(D) Slap him

You wind back and slap Daniel. He falls to the floor and doesn't seem to be getting back up. You tell him it's not his fault. That he didn't have anything to do with it.
"'course I did..." he says softly. "I grew all that food, passed it out... 'n' that's what done it, right? Made them go nuts. ...Right?"
He looks at Rita. She looks away sadly. "...Well, an unknown parasite that leeched into the food, but..."
"Parasite!?" Sara asks. She leans in and whispers to Rita. "Is... didn't you and Kira eat that stuff?"
Rita continues to look away. "Tamers are... highly resistant to their effects... I think... So, we... should be fine..." she says softly.
Daniel continues laying on the floor. Elise walks up and kicks him in the gut. Daniel coughs violently.
"Git up," she says. "I ain't gonna kick a man while 'e's down twice. So get up so's I can belt ya one."
Sara grabs Elise from behind and tries to hold her back. "What the Hell are you doing!?"
"'e wants t' just lay down 'n' die!?" Elise demands. She furiously struggles against Sara's grip. "Wants someone t' yell at 'im and beat 'im and punish 'im 'n' absolve 'im or somethin'!? Well, if it's a beatin' he's after, I'll happily provide!"
(A) Ignore Elise
(B) Smack Elise
(C) Talk Elise down
(D) Let Elise do what she wants

You tell Elise to cool it. She snarls at you for a moment, then spits at the floor. "Fine." She stops squirming and Sara hesitantly relaxes her grip. Elise turns and storms out of the room.
Well, that's one problem dealt with. But Daniel's still sort of... laying on the floor crying...
(A) Let him be
(B) Pick him up and sit him back in the chair, then leave him be
(C) Ask someone else to try
(D) Keep trying to talk to him
(E) Now it's my turn to punch him!
