The year is 4E 231. The master Telvanni wizard Neloth, living in the towers of Tel Mithryn on the island of Solstheim, a territory belonging to the Imperial Province of Morrowind, has studied the properties of the mysterious 'Heart Stones'. In recent years, he has made several important discoveries, and more and more adventurous souls have sought to become his apprentices, hoping to be there and have their names recorded when the next historic breakthrough comes. The work is hard, mistakes are costly, and the experiments are exceedingly dangerous.
Yes, they are bold, these researchers, but then there are the even more bold, the daring, who offer themselves as the subjects for such experiments...
"Oh, he's finally awake." You hear a very snarky and familiar voice call as a Dunmer with a small beard and elegant red robes comes into view. "Took you long enough. The supply of Canis Root tea nearly dried up while you were taking your little nap. Now answer these questions, and quickly now."
He hands you a piece of parchment with a couple of simple questions before waiting for an answer.
"I can't." You reply as you hand the paper back to him.
"And why is that?" He sneered while squinting at you.
"I don't know who I am. I can't see my face."
The Dark Elf glares at another one of his kind, this one wearing plain brown robes, probably his apprentice, who in turn brings a small, dusty mirror and holds it in front of you so you can see your reflection. As you peer into the dirty glass, you can vaguely see a face, but of which race does it belong to?
A: Imperial, a citizen of Cyrodiil.
B: Nord, true man of Skyrim.
C: Redguard, a warrior of Hammerfell.
D: Breton, a native of High Rock.
E: Khajiit, a feline of Elsweyr.
F: Argonian, a snake of the Black Marsh.
G: High Elf, a loyalist of the Summerset Isles.
H: Dark Elf, a drifter of Morrowind.
I: Wood Elf, a hunter of Valenwood.
J: Orc, a tribesman of Orsinium.
